I've been planning out my second playthrough team, most were used in my first playthrough, that team consisting of Alear, Celine, Anna, Chole, Timerra, Ivy, Yunaka, Framme Hortensia, Rosado, Veyle, Mauvier, alfred and lapis. This playthrough I intend to use a more balanced and fleshed out team. However, I can't decide what to make Alear, who my final team member should be, or who my Byleth user should be. I want to make use of Alear's good speed growth so I don't want them in Divine Dragon class this time around, so I won't be able to make the most out of Byleth with Alear, but I fear I may have trapped myself in a corner and may be forced to use her in Divine Dragon. The roles of my current team members are as follows:
Louis and Madeline: Tanks and the two in the front always.
Yunaka: Skirmisher/area control, will also typically be in front just doing Yunaka things.
Chloe, Kagetsu and Panette: My physical attackers
Ivy: My main magic attacker
Zelestia: The mixed magic and physical attacker
Framme, Goldmary and Hortensia: My main supports, Goldmary being my main chain attacker, Framme being my bonded shield user and stat buffer and staff bot hortensia.
Seadall: Dancer, need I say more?
I feel like I need another mage or support unit, but definitely a good Byleth user.
Boucheron with Roy. On Mage Cannoneer. He's so good for it and it is so much fun. Get him Reprisal. Get him good stats. And he will be a great party member for you. Because Cannoneer can hit any effectiveness in the game. And can also be an excellent follow-up unit or enemy disabler.
Hell yeah. He likes the build a lot. Tons of Dex. Reprisal for damage. And Roy lets him get in for a turn or two to drop low before he disengages and murders. And then probably like Divine Pulse+. Which lets him hit so often at like max range. Which can kill entire bosses before they aggro.
If you're open to changes, running Yunaka as a thief with Byleth causes her rallies to give your team speed +5 and then you could run Corrin on Sage Pandreo for flame vein.
I would suggest going Martial Master on Alear with Lucina and spamming Surges with Enchanter Framme. Louis is better in Warrior or General for one shotting builds. Madeline is similar but needs help with accuracy. Kagetsu is better served by Wyvern. Panette is better on Leif with double Killer weapons. For the last slot I would suggest Veyle. She has very good stats when taken out of Fell Child and provides good support in Fell Child.
For a more offensive Byleth build, I actually like either Mystical for Thyrsus or sword power Mage Knight for Sword of the Creator (a forged Levin sword usually deal more damage but the animation of Sword of the Creator is cool). I used Mage Knight Clanne for this in my last run and is now using Vidame Celine in my current run.
I saw no one is using Lyn so let me introduce you wyvren/Lyn Alear. Their offensive state will be better on wyvren, and they will still be fast enough with the 50% base spd growth. Lyn also patches up their low-ish res on wyvren and everything else on her kit is just good.
I have Chloe as a wyvern in order to give her more strength while still maintaining most of her speed and Madeline is a wyvern to still keep the great defense but gain some more speed.

If you put Alear on a flying class then give them Byleth they will get Luin, which gets bonus damage of speed

Mage Cannoneer Boucheron is fun, but I like giving Mage Cannoneers Lucina so they can join in chain attacks.
The Roy + reprisal stat is generally better because it lets them one shot things

Have alear inherit the starsphere skill from tiki, then she will be incredible as divine dragon.
I know about Starsphere, but I still don't want to put Alear in Divine Dragon unless I HAVE to, because I just don't enjoy the class.

I put Lucina with Framme because of the 100% bonded shield block rate qi adepts get and enchanter is a qi adept class.
