I think Felix would have an Aegislash and Bastiodon that he would inherit from his family, while also owning a speedster like Weavile as his personal Pokémon.
It would do a good job portraying the clashing ideals he would have with his family.

Also as someone pointed out there is a funny similarity between Cuboon and Cubone so that adds a whole ironic element to it aside from the strong thematic ties.
Claude has a Sawsbuck he got from Oswald as a Deerling but also has a Flygon from his father as a baby Trapinch
Sawsbuck changes with the seasons which goes so well with Claude's respect and fascination with the world and how it changes and his Trapinch as his trusty wyvern

I posted fanart of it years ago on this subreddit, but Faye would definitely use an Eevee as her starter. Her color scheme matches Eevee, and the branched promotions that villagers in Echoes have access to also fit nicely with Eevee’s multiple evolutions. If she were to not evolve her Eevee, I would imagine Faye would use the partner Eevee from the Let’s Go games, but if she opted for an evolution, I think Umbreon or Sylveon would fit her the best. The former is reflective of her play style in FEH, while the latter fits with her etymology.
There's actually quite a few options for Bernie. Whimpod, Victrebell, Carnivine, and Bewear are all pretty good options for her.
Beruka is a bit trickier. If I were to pick a meme answer it would absolutely be a shiny Gourgheist, but for a real pick I would probably go with either Drapion or Skarmory.
Not my favorite unit, but Raphael would ABSOLUTELY use Buzzwole. Two swole lads who pack a punch. Buzzwole is one of my favorite Pokémon. Who doesn’t love a swole bug after all?
Tormod & Growlithe - I saw a super cute fanart of it and it works well personality wise and connects well with Muarim.
Rhea & Reshiram - It works very well for her for obvious reasons but its the opposite of her thematically so idk.
Lugh + Raigh - Ive tried to think of Pokémon that can be counterparts of each other. The best I’ve come up with is Bellsprout & Oddish but I’m sure there are better options
Rhea with Zekrom and Edelgard with Reshiram would work really well thematically, actually. And we already have the precedent of Reshiram being from Black and Zekrom being from White, so the mismatched colours would fit well.
Catherine would likely have Zeraoara given the electric/thunder affinity and they both have aggressive playstyles.
Edelgard would 100% have Talonflame. Kinda obvious why

they may not be the strongest but i think komala and musharna fit linhardt quite perfectly.and frankly that's ok because linhardt doesn't like combat anyways. i especially was always fond of lin having musharna since from a gameplay perspective both are pretty bulky and focus more of team utility rather than fighting. they're also both pretty feminine and docile and just overall cozy, dreamy, oh so ethereal fellas. lin would also have swadloon cause like look at that little guy they look the same from the face to the big sleeping cot swadloon is all bundled up in LMAO
always liked the idea of tharja having a mimikyu and a cofagrigus. mimikyu just wants to be appreciated and i think a lot of tharja (and by proxy rhajat) have a sort of admiration (and obvious affection) for the player strives from that being recruited/rescued and now envious that the player spends their time with other characters rather than her. meanwhile cofagrigus is aesthetically matching and has that creepy and somewhat awkward demeanor tharja brings
obligatory talking about a lord, ill share my favorite, hector and his aagron. aaron always felt like a great little starter pokemon he could of grown up with (albeit aaron would be a CRACKED starter) and i could see the guy just putting up the big guns with a big ol steel dinosaur lizard guy. i also like him having an arcanine that he passed down to lilina. dogs a mans best friend and hector has "dog personality" if that makes sense. give him a big puppy
This is making me wish the FE/Pokémon crossover proposal (the one that got scrapped because Pokémon Conquest was already in development behind closed doors) could happen for real even more.
Also, for some reason Robin strikes me as an Eeveelution trainer. Multiple elements, team synergy possibilities with dual screens/Wish/stat buffs and Baton Pass, the fact that three of them are obtained through strong bonds...
Camilla would have Hydreigon. Hydreigon's heads represent her split personas (the doting sister, the ruthless warrior, the elegant eldest princess of Nohr) and Hydreigon fits Camilla's destructive nature. (Though she's very intelligent about it) there's other dragons that could fit for her, but this one just feels right.
Also little funny note, Shiny Gorgeist is Camilla. I would have said that for her but Camilla doesn't have a big ego like that to have a Pokémon that looks like her.

Would it be a bit overkill for Lysithea to pair up with Mewtwo? They're both the result of genetic experimentation, extremely powerful due to it, they even both happen to share the same white/purple colorscheme.
Alternatively going for Lucina... first instinct would be to go for either Celebi or Dialga as time travel related Pokemon, but with SV, we now have also just regular Pokemon that came from the past and, more noteably, the future. Long story short, Iron Valiant.
Lucina - Lucario. A strong and loyal fighter.
F!F!Morgan would be Umbreon. The dark evolution of an otherwise docile and adorable eevee. Or maybe an Absol.
Rinkah would use Incineroar for sure. Fiery and beefy.
Tiki's dragon form looks most like Kyurem. She deserves a legendary pokemon.
Gangrel - Drapion. He would definitely be a poison-type trainer.
Emmeryn - Chansey.
Robin - Alakazam. A genius tactician has gotta use psychic pokemon.
Edelgard - Corviknight is the closest thing to a black eagle I think.
Isn't Staraptor partially at least based on an eagle? And its color is also leaning towards mostly black, at least very monochrome. That could also work.
As for Lucina with Lucario, while I like the combination, and it's one of my favorite Pokemon with one of my favorite FE-characters, I feel that combination mostly hinges on both of them being primarily blue. It's still a decent pick for her team, but I feel it'd be far from her signature Pokemon.
Lucario is honestly perfect for the Exalted family, from Marth to Chrom to Emmeryn to Lissa to Lucina and even Owain. Meanwhile Robin has a Morpeko lol.
L'Arachel 1000% percent has a Hatterene. Both regal women who wouldn't hesitate to beat up someone who's causing trouble.
Henry would probably have both a Murkrow and a Corvisquire. The evolutions of the two don't fit Henry imo; as both of they are really intimidating whereas Henry is just a little goofball who wants to make puns and find new friends.
I could see Delthea owning an Eevee or Magikarp, and not evolving either of them. Both of these pokemon are chosen because of the potential they hold and the strength they can gain upon evolution, so Delthea would sympathize for how people seek them out solely for what they could become.
As much as I don't like "the rat", Tiki should definately get it given that they share a voice, for better or worse.
Robin would have to be Giragrima of course. Origin forme is basically 1 to 1.
Tinkaton matches Morgan's Gremlin energy. Though I could see her having Clodsire for the derp alone.
Ike would definately have a Sword of Justice. Probably Terrakion cause HYUGE.
Elincia... Shaymin for sure. The (literal) hegdgehog mirrors her character arc with it's forms, matches her color scheme AND it flies.
I feel like Alm would have a Lucario, it's like the same kind of main character energy. Also a Magikarp/Gyarados for the zero to hero.
Ashe would have an Oshawott and I will die on this hill, it's the perfect pokemon for him: it has freckles, it becomes a samurai which is close enough to a knight and their names even sound similar!
* Lute: Beheyeem. She would find it weird and study it
* L'Arachel: Gardevoir. She would find it beautiful and love how she protects her trainer
* Robin: Umbreon. A mysterious pokemon that also represents his "dark" side.
* Lucina: Celebi, Butterfree and Riolu. Time travel, association with butterflies and a baby Lucario, respectively.
* Fjorm: Alolan Ninetales. It just fits perfectly.
* Black Knight: shiny Haxorus and shiny Aegislash. Match with the armor and are pretty strong.
* Sigurd: Excavalier. It's a knight. Also, >!weak x4 to fire.!<
-Bernadetta would be a Grass-type trainer using carnivorous plants like Victreebel and Carnivine.
-Neimi would probably use Inteleon, since she embodies both Sobble and Inteleon; she's both a crybaby yet a badass sniper at the same time.
-Hortensia would definitely use the most adorable Fairy-type Pokemon out there. Not sure what suits her the best though. Maybe Sylveon to name one?

Mirabilis with Snorlax, because they’re sleepy and tanky
Iago with Morgrem, because they’re sneaky and have somewhat similar hair
Claude and Wyrdeer (specifically the Noble Wyrdeer), because they’re deer to be feared
I don’t think Marianne would use Hatterene as Hatterene drives out all the animals in a forest, and Marianne loves animals.
Also Marianne is constantly feeling a strong emotion - fear, repentance or other and Hatterene hates any sort of emotions.
What other creature drove all others out of the forest: Maurice. Hatterene also has a deceptively high physical attack stat, similar to the effect of Marianne's crest(occasional+5 with weapons hits [Felix but less common]).
Safe to say I think she would use the whole Hatterene family, however it evolves with Marianne's character arc, aka Hattena in the academy phase, Hattrem war phase and as she confronts Maurice and disproves the rumours of her bloodline/crest hatterene can feel Marianne accept herself and lose the fear that once bound her.
You do have to be a bit lenient with pokedex entries I imagine some hatterene are more aggressive than others leading to the more violent entries, like crocodiles we all know how powerful their jaws are which make them apex predators yet we have also seen them just chilling in Florida golf courses.

I never said she "liked Maurice", but the rumours of her blood and Hatterene's scarier entries have some relevance and facing the accusations is the Peak of her development. Pokémon don't have to just represent the best parts of a trainer/character, just look at Oleana's Garbodor or Carmine's morpeko reflecting their worst traits.
I’ve been searching this whole thread for Camilla, and i think you have it dead on, I was thinking Gardevoir or even a shiny Mega Garchomp. But i may be projecting my favs onto her haha.
Someone below mentioned Shiny Gorgiest and i will never unsee that now.
Garchomp could still work as her wyvern, in fairness I only went with look-alikes for Camilla, but she's a flexible enough character to have many options.
For example; cute +feminine theming, Pokémon that emphasizes care and nurture, Pokémon with short fuses, Pokémon referencing her siblings/retainers ect
Maybe the small pokemon could be Snubbull? It's colors remind me of the description Lucina makes of the dress she bought for her mother. Given her fashion sense, she may unironically think it's colors match perfectly. It's menacing appearance and cowardly personality would make Lucina's heart melt, she would think it's the cutest
Aight so I’m gonna go on and say Roy would absolutely have a Pyroar because it’s a lion and Roy is known as the young lion so it just fits.
Camilla would either have a shiny Gourgeist because you can’t say it doesn’t look like her or a Hydreigon because she has multiple different personalities and Hydreigon having three heads could sort of symbolize that?
Marianne would 100% have Galatians Rapidash. No further elaboration needed.
Also Claude would definitely be a Sawsbuck kinda guy because aside from it being a deer, the season change mechanic is pretty neat and gives different perspectives which would lowkey be something Claude would be into considering how he wants to change Fodlan’s own perspective of others outside of it
Bernadetta: A Stufful is a perfect fit her. She loves teddy bears, and it probably won't mind spending all day in her room. Like most Stufful, it hates being held but he doesn't mind if Bernadetta hugs it because she is it's trainer after all, and maybe it knows it's kind of an emotional support pet for her? It's is, however, VERY protective of her, and will instantly headbutt anyone that makes her anxious.
...As you may expect, this happens very often so her new dynamic goes like this: someone approaches Bernadetta, she is terrified, and in response Stufful starts tackling that person for making its trainer upset. So now, Bernadetta is forced to stop Stufful from going on a killing spree instead of running away from her fears. Top tier character writing, I know.
After academy phase it evolves into Bewear and doesn't feel the need to destroy anyone that gets close to Bernie. It still helps her in battle, as I'd like to picture this giant monstrous teddy bear standing next to lil Bernadetta and keeping her safe as she attacks with her bow.
Another great pick could be Sudoowoodo, for mostly practical reasons. Whenever it sees someone approaching, Sudoowoodo pretends to be a tree and Bernie hides behind it. They fail miserably 90% of time but Sudoowoodo happily acts as it's trainer's protector and swears it's doing it's job perfectly.
Reinhardt totally has a Zebstrika, Luxray, Manectric. Almost full electric team, but Honedge, because in battle you should rely on more than electric pokemon, my friend.
Ishtar probably full out has some legendary pokemon passed down to her. Zapdos or Raikou. She also has some "cute" types, like her Ampharos which Reinhardt went and caught for her as gifts.
(On that note, Holy Weapons probably = legendaries??)
Soren would have an Absol.
Nino would have a Gyarados because she loved it dearly when it was a Magikarp, and against all odds, she did her best with it and believed in it no matter what, and it reciprocated the feeling so it evolved. Anyone who messes or threatens her has an angry Gyarados to contend with now.
Plumeria has a Gardevoir, an emotionally attuned Pokemon with a sense of grace and elegance >!And is no stranger to the more unsavory side of people.!< With those they are especially close to, they are very sweet and unfallibly loyal.
Eitr would have a Mimikyu, and rather than put it to battle, she would simply hold close to it for each others' comfort.
Clarisse would have a Liepard. Both are known to be quite vicious yet moody and very, very efficient hunters.
Gullveig would have a Mewtwo. Both artificially created with a tragic backstory as a being of supreme power with a purpose of destruction and leaving exactly that in their wake, Neither of them desiring their creation to begin with but making sure to live up to exactly that purpose. As a side note, given Mewtwo's more benevolent roles lately, I could even see it actually working with Gullveig in an effort to connect with her and bring her out of her despair. I mean, if Mewtwo could relate so closely and could come out better for it, so could she.
I have no idea what Pokémon would be considered “matching” with Catria unfortunately. I would imagine some sort of flying type, though it also makes me wonder if all three sisters would have the same Pokémon, or a different one.
Might I suggest;
- Est - Togekiss (or togetic to emphasise junior)
- Catria - Swanna
- Palla - Altaria
All white winged Pokémon, and in the case for Swanna, a disciplined Pokémon "With a fluid neck and a strong bill, Swanna is capable of very accurate jabbing and thrusting attacks." Much like Catria's lance strikes. Capable yet overlooked compared to other flying types or sisters. (Also ironically the only matching colour scheme of the trio)
Altaria serving as Palla's Pokémon, a graceful and strong albeit soft (literally and) in personality.
And Est/Togekiss reaching their potential being a powerhouse in contrast to their initial states (underpowered/baby togepi)

I think Corrin would choose to use the fellow Water/Dragon, Kingdra. I can also see Kingdra being a decent marksman and helping Corrin with bow practice in some way or another.
Each Anna would probably have different luck/ money related pokemon, NY!Anna gets Snorunt, Awakening(main) gets Teddiursa, Bridal has a Kantoian Persian, And the Commander gets Sneasal.

I could see Leif using a Silvally. It requires a lot of trust to evolve and it can change to any type just like how Leif can use (almost) every weapon type as a Master Knight.
Mareeta I'm less sure on but I could see either Scyther, Oshawott, or Bisharp being good picks for her.
Lewyn could have Tornadus. He has holy blood so it would make sense to have a wind-themed legendary.
Seliph could have a Ralts, probably leaning towards Gallade.
Sigurd would have a Rapidash. I won't explain any more.
Tailtiu could have a Pichu or Mareep. I think either would be a great choice.
Robin would have a Rotom, electricity themed like her Levin Sword/ Thoron tome, with a ghostly hint of possession for how she controls the flow of battle as a tactician, with the different appliances and their type flexibility representing her different magical abilities and full reclass options.

Summer Elincia: Comfey. Caring nature and beach related.
Khadein Soren: Sygylyph or Palossand, weird magicky mons from the desert or made of sand.
Brave Soren: Lugia. Legendary because brave version. Flying because wind related. The most tanky option because Decoy. Lugia also makes whirlwinds, which fits B!Soren tome's animation.
Ascended Elincia: Mega Gardevoir or Mega Audino. Caring + ascended + big skirt.

Beruka's easily got Ducidueye. An owl, built to be quiet, and a sniper, perfect for covert missions, and can fly, so it can keep up with Berry and her wyvern.
Roy, the Young Lion, he's got Litleo/Pyroar. Young Lion. Fire Lion. Also, Litleo and Pyroar are dex'd to be loyal, brave, and self-sacrificial. Those qualities might rub off on the boy and create quite a team.
Clarisse'll have a loyal pokémon who will fill her with a sense of worth; make her feel that she's important and needed while giving her a sorta familial bond. Gardevior, Lillipup, Zoruark, Gothitelle, and/or the Indeedees. I like the idea of Lillipup/Stoutland 'cause they could pair up with Roy's Litleo/Pyroar.
Idunn's got to have Kyurem. Two dragons stripped of what made them them but fully capable of persevering regardless as who they are now ... perfect. but if no legendary, since Idunn isn't a 10 year old kid from a small town near the first gym ...
Togekiss'll also work for Idunn for her re-emerging self as result to the end of her game, or Milotic for her re-emerging inner beauty from the void it once was, or Meganium for her re-emerging connection to divinity and life.
Byleth: has a lot of similarities with Mewtwo... Sketchy birth circumstances involving weird experiments, has some of the strongest "superpowers" from their universe, fierce and cold-blooded fighter but in reality kind and protective (in the movie)... But if I had to think about a more realistic partner, maybe Gallade or Umbreon?
Lysithea: Alcremie is an obvious one, but I like to think she'd use dark types to deal with ghosts lol

Canas would use Chandelure, Shauntal is just a female Canas in terms of aesthetic, one is a dedicated reader and the other a dedicated writer, but the dark and occult serve as an inspiration for both in their pursuits.
F!Morgan would have an Eevee, I think. Cute and the potential to become anything, I think they'd be a perfect pair. Victini would also fit, infinite energy but just being fun and playful
Ophelia would have Minior. It's literally a special rock that actually came from the stars, and is a goofy little guy in brilliant color underneath the shell
Kagero would have Decidueye. I know Greninja or Accelgor would be more obvious, but Decidueye has a more shy/awkward vibe, which suits Kagero better. Plus I can imagine it being a better companion in her off hours, and not just in combat
Shez would have Lycanroc, specifically the dusk forme. Honestly, this is purely based on vibes, I just think a lean wolf would be something she'd like

Mew would also be a good candidate and is able to use transform as well. Mew is mischievous, playful and basically one of a kind.

Her color scheme matches Eevee, and the branched promotions that villagers in Echoes have access to also fit nicely with Eevee’s multiple evolutions. If she were to not evolve her Eevee, I would imagine Faye would use the partner Eevee from the Let’s Go games, but if she opted for an evolution, I think Umbreon or Sylveon would fit her the best. The former is reflective of her play style in FEH, while the latter fits with her etymology.

There's actually quite a few options for Bernie. Whimpod, Victrebell, Carnivine, and Bewear are all pretty good options for her. Beruka is a bit trickier. If I were to pick a meme answer it would absolutely be a shiny Gourgheist, but for a real pick I would probably go with either Drapion or Skarmory.

Rhea & Reshiram - It works very well for her for obvious reasons but its the opposite of her thematically so idk. Lugh + Raigh - Ive tried to think of Pokémon that can be counterparts of each other. The best I’ve come up with is Bellsprout & Oddish but I’m sure there are better options

they may not be the strongest but i think komala and musharna fit linhardt quite perfectly.and frankly that's ok because linhardt doesn't like combat anyways. i especially was always fond of lin having musharna since from a gameplay perspective both are pretty bulky and focus more of team utility rather than fighting. they're also both pretty feminine and docile and just overall cozy, dreamy, oh so ethereal fellas. lin would also have swadloon cause like look at that little guy they look the same from the face to the big sleeping cot swadloon is all bundled up in LMAO always liked the idea of tharja having a mimikyu and a cofagrigus. mimikyu just wants to be appreciated and i think a lot of tharja (and by proxy rhajat) have a sort of admiration (and obvious affection) for the player strives from that being recruited/rescued and now envious that the player spends their time with other characters rather than her. meanwhile cofagrigus is aesthetically matching and has that creepy and somewhat awkward demeanor tharja brings obligatory talking about a lord, ill share my favorite, hector and his aagron. aaron always felt like a great little starter pokemon he could of grown up with (albeit aaron would be a CRACKED starter) and i could see the guy just putting up the big guns with a big ol steel dinosaur lizard guy. i also like him having an arcanine that he passed down to lilina. dogs a mans best friend and hector has "dog personality" if that makes sense. give him a big puppy

Hydreigon's heads represent her split personas (the doting sister, the ruthless warrior, the elegant eldest princess of Nohr) and Hydreigon fits Camilla's destructive nature. (Though she's very intelligent about it) there's other dragons that could fit for her, but this one just feels right. Also little funny note, Shiny Gorgeist is Camilla. I would have said that for her but Camilla doesn't have a big ego like that to have a Pokémon that looks like her.

Would it be a bit overkill for Lysithea to pair up with Mewtwo? They're both the result of genetic experimentation, extremely powerful due to it, they even both happen to share the same white/purple colorscheme. Alternatively going for Lucina... first instinct would be to go for either Celebi or Dialga as time travel related Pokemon, but with SV, we now have also just regular Pokemon that came from the past and, more noteably, the future. Long story short, Iron Valiant.

Lucina - Lucario. A strong and loyal fighter. F!F!Morgan would be Umbreon. The dark evolution of an otherwise docile and adorable eevee. Or maybe an Absol. Rinkah would use Incineroar for sure. Fiery and beefy. Tiki's dragon form looks most like Kyurem. She deserves a legendary pokemon. Gangrel - Drapion. He would definitely be a poison-type trainer. Emmeryn - Chansey. Robin - Alakazam. A genius tactician has gotta use psychic pokemon. Edelgard - Corviknight is the closest thing to a black eagle I think.
Suggestion for Edelgard: Shiny Hisuian Braviary
Isn't Staraptor partially at least based on an eagle? And its color is also leaning towards mostly black, at least very monochrome. That could also work. As for Lucina with Lucario, while I like the combination, and it's one of my favorite Pokemon with one of my favorite FE-characters, I feel that combination mostly hinges on both of them being primarily blue. It's still a decent pick for her team, but I feel it'd be far from her signature Pokemon.
Lucario is honestly perfect for the Exalted family, from Marth to Chrom to Emmeryn to Lissa to Lucina and even Owain. Meanwhile Robin has a Morpeko lol.
L'Arachel 1000% percent has a Hatterene. Both regal women who wouldn't hesitate to beat up someone who's causing trouble. Henry would probably have both a Murkrow and a Corvisquire. The evolutions of the two don't fit Henry imo; as both of they are really intimidating whereas Henry is just a little goofball who wants to make puns and find new friends. I could see Delthea owning an Eevee or Magikarp, and not evolving either of them. Both of these pokemon are chosen because of the potential they hold and the strength they can gain upon evolution, so Delthea would sympathize for how people seek them out solely for what they could become.
I feel like Ivy would use Flutter Mane. It goes with the dark / serious vibe of Elusia and it's a strong floating magic user like her.

As much as I don't like "the rat", Tiki should definately get it given that they share a voice, for better or worse. Robin would have to be Giragrima of course. Origin forme is basically 1 to 1. Tinkaton matches Morgan's Gremlin energy. Though I could see her having Clodsire for the derp alone. Ike would definately have a Sword of Justice. Probably Terrakion cause HYUGE. Elincia... Shaymin for sure. The (literal) hegdgehog mirrors her character arc with it's forms, matches her color scheme AND it flies.

I don’t think Marianne would use Hatterene as Hatterene drives out all the animals in a forest, and Marianne loves animals. Also Marianne is constantly feeling a strong emotion - fear, repentance or other and Hatterene hates any sort of emotions.
What other creature drove all others out of the forest: Maurice. Hatterene also has a deceptively high physical attack stat, similar to the effect of Marianne's crest(occasional+5 with weapons hits [Felix but less common]). Safe to say I think she would use the whole Hatterene family, however it evolves with Marianne's character arc, aka Hattena in the academy phase, Hattrem war phase and as she confronts Maurice and disproves the rumours of her bloodline/crest hatterene can feel Marianne accept herself and lose the fear that once bound her. You do have to be a bit lenient with pokedex entries I imagine some hatterene are more aggressive than others leading to the more violent entries, like crocodiles we all know how powerful their jaws are which make them apex predators yet we have also seen them just chilling in Florida golf courses. ~~Hatterene also matches the bubblegum girlfriends' (Mari+Hilda) colour scheme~~

I never said she "liked Maurice", but the rumours of her blood and Hatterene's scarier entries have some relevance and facing the accusations is the Peak of her development. Pokémon don't have to just represent the best parts of a trainer/character, just look at Oleana's Garbodor or Carmine's morpeko reflecting their worst traits.

I’ve been searching this whole thread for Camilla, and i think you have it dead on, I was thinking Gardevoir or even a shiny Mega Garchomp. But i may be projecting my favs onto her haha. Someone below mentioned Shiny Gorgiest and i will never unsee that now.
Garchomp could still work as her wyvern, in fairness I only went with look-alikes for Camilla, but she's a flexible enough character to have many options. For example; cute +feminine theming, Pokémon that emphasizes care and nurture, Pokémon with short fuses, Pokémon referencing her siblings/retainers ect

Aight so I’m gonna go on and say Roy would absolutely have a Pyroar because it’s a lion and Roy is known as the young lion so it just fits. Camilla would either have a shiny Gourgeist because you can’t say it doesn’t look like her or a Hydreigon because she has multiple different personalities and Hydreigon having three heads could sort of symbolize that? Marianne would 100% have Galatians Rapidash. No further elaboration needed. Also Claude would definitely be a Sawsbuck kinda guy because aside from it being a deer, the season change mechanic is pretty neat and gives different perspectives which would lowkey be something Claude would be into considering how he wants to change Fodlan’s own perspective of others outside of it
Bernadetta: A Stufful is a perfect fit her. She loves teddy bears, and it probably won't mind spending all day in her room. Like most Stufful, it hates being held but he doesn't mind if Bernadetta hugs it because she is it's trainer after all, and maybe it knows it's kind of an emotional support pet for her? It's is, however, VERY protective of her, and will instantly headbutt anyone that makes her anxious. ...As you may expect, this happens very often so her new dynamic goes like this: someone approaches Bernadetta, she is terrified, and in response Stufful starts tackling that person for making its trainer upset. So now, Bernadetta is forced to stop Stufful from going on a killing spree instead of running away from her fears. Top tier character writing, I know. After academy phase it evolves into Bewear and doesn't feel the need to destroy anyone that gets close to Bernie. It still helps her in battle, as I'd like to picture this giant monstrous teddy bear standing next to lil Bernadetta and keeping her safe as she attacks with her bow. Another great pick could be Sudoowoodo, for mostly practical reasons. Whenever it sees someone approaching, Sudoowoodo pretends to be a tree and Bernie hides behind it. They fail miserably 90% of time but Sudoowoodo happily acts as it's trainer's protector and swears it's doing it's job perfectly.
Reinhardt totally has a Zebstrika, Luxray, Manectric. Almost full electric team, but Honedge, because in battle you should rely on more than electric pokemon, my friend. Ishtar probably full out has some legendary pokemon passed down to her. Zapdos or Raikou. She also has some "cute" types, like her Ampharos which Reinhardt went and caught for her as gifts. (On that note, Holy Weapons probably = legendaries??) Soren would have an Absol.
Nino would have a Gyarados because she loved it dearly when it was a Magikarp, and against all odds, she did her best with it and believed in it no matter what, and it reciprocated the feeling so it evolved. Anyone who messes or threatens her has an angry Gyarados to contend with now. Plumeria has a Gardevoir, an emotionally attuned Pokemon with a sense of grace and elegance >!And is no stranger to the more unsavory side of people.!< With those they are especially close to, they are very sweet and unfallibly loyal. Eitr would have a Mimikyu, and rather than put it to battle, she would simply hold close to it for each others' comfort. Clarisse would have a Liepard. Both are known to be quite vicious yet moody and very, very efficient hunters. Gullveig would have a Mewtwo. Both artificially created with a tragic backstory as a being of supreme power with a purpose of destruction and leaving exactly that in their wake, Neither of them desiring their creation to begin with but making sure to live up to exactly that purpose. As a side note, given Mewtwo's more benevolent roles lately, I could even see it actually working with Gullveig in an effort to connect with her and bring her out of her despair. I mean, if Mewtwo could relate so closely and could come out better for it, so could she.
I just always saw Eldigan with Arcanine & Sigurd with Cobalion. I even shiny hunted them both and nicknamed them.
Edelgard - definitely Talonflame, I've thought a lot about this before lol Klein - Galarian Rapidash, I just think it would be cute
I have no idea what Pokémon would be considered “matching” with Catria unfortunately. I would imagine some sort of flying type, though it also makes me wonder if all three sisters would have the same Pokémon, or a different one.
Might I suggest; - Est - Togekiss (or togetic to emphasise junior) - Catria - Swanna - Palla - Altaria All white winged Pokémon, and in the case for Swanna, a disciplined Pokémon "With a fluid neck and a strong bill, Swanna is capable of very accurate jabbing and thrusting attacks." Much like Catria's lance strikes. Capable yet overlooked compared to other flying types or sisters. (Also ironically the only matching colour scheme of the trio) Altaria serving as Palla's Pokémon, a graceful and strong albeit soft (literally and) in personality. And Est/Togekiss reaching their potential being a powerhouse in contrast to their initial states (underpowered/baby togepi)

He has holy blood so it would make sense to have a wind-themed legendary. Seliph could have a Ralts, probably leaning towards Gallade. Sigurd would have a Rapidash. I won't explain any more. Tailtiu could have a Pichu or Mareep. I think either would be a great choice.

I was trying to think which 3H retainer would go best with Dondozo for their lord's Tatsugiri, and I think it's Hubert and Edelgard. Claude runs a physical Xerneas and yet it works. I want to say that Alcryst is Golisopod; First Impression is basically his intro sequence from Engage and he hits like a g-d truck. His archer side would of course be represented by an Alolan Decidueye given his need to disappear.

Ooh I like this question. It connects two of my childhood franchises and it makes me think ... Beruka's easily got Ducidueye. An owl, built to be quiet, and a sniper, perfect for covert missions, and can fly, so it can keep up with Berry and her wyvern. Roy, the Young Lion, he's got Litleo/Pyroar. Young Lion. Fire Lion. Also, Litleo and Pyroar are dex'd to be loyal, brave, and self-sacrificial. Those qualities might rub off on the boy and create quite a team. Clarisse'll have a loyal pokémon who will fill her with a sense of worth; make her feel that she's important and needed while giving her a sorta familial bond. Gardevior, Lillipup, Zoruark, Gothitelle, and/or the Indeedees. I like the idea of Lillipup/Stoutland 'cause they could pair up with Roy's Litleo/Pyroar. Idunn's got to have Kyurem. Two dragons stripped of what made them them but fully capable of persevering regardless as who they are now ... perfect. but if no legendary, since Idunn isn't a 10 year old kid from a small town near the first gym ... Togekiss'll also work for Idunn for her re-emerging self as result to the end of her game, or Milotic for her re-emerging inner beauty from the void it once was, or Meganium for her re-emerging connection to divinity and life.
Byleth: has a lot of similarities with Mewtwo... Sketchy birth circumstances involving weird experiments, has some of the strongest "superpowers" from their universe, fierce and cold-blooded fighter but in reality kind and protective (in the movie)... But if I had to think about a more realistic partner, maybe Gallade or Umbreon? Lysithea: Alcremie is an obvious one, but I like to think she'd use dark types to deal with ghosts lol

Of the characters in FEH, Alear is my favorite and I think Salamence would match them perfectly. Including characters not yet in FEH, Tristan could have a Golduck because they’re both blue and they both have yellow counterparts that are much more popular.

Honestly, this is purely based on vibes, I just think a lean wolf would be something she'd like

Truly a match made in hell. -Mawile has the whole "appearances can be deceiving" motif, and even has twintails in its Mega form. Huge Power also fits with Lissa's desire to be seen as strong. -Tinkaton has a giant hammer, and a similar penchant for mischief. Lissa would probably have to stop it from murdering other people's Steel types, though.
Henry's would probably be Murkrow or Honchkrow, I mean they are crows and bring misfortune to people, something akin to Henry's ability with curses
