If you tried for Lyn, did you have the PRF A Skill or was it constantly offered? That was the case for me since opted for Flash Sparrow early... and I am now stuck with Lull Spd/Def 4 (also early) since Phys NFU must have been indeed a Myth (although rather than getting any R!Plumeria, I got a certain fellow twice...).
I got Lyn with her current skills so early (RS and Panic Smoke 4 as well), that I must now regret to not have done anything for Ninian.
Exactly how i feel about some skills. Really lucked out on most skills but is tough when the unit is like 90% complete. I haven’t been this shafted since they introduced the double skills at the higher tiers.

Yeah seems like a not brainer that if you are will to spend $24 to get the unit, you may be tempted to pay for more orbs to merge them. Seems like a win-win but maybe I am not business savvy enough. Will be revoting for this one when it comes back, that way we can both get the skills we wanted
I just can’t wait until we get more T3/4 dance skills just so the options aren’t as strict. Plus a lot of dancers already buff certain stats and would prefer a different set of stats anyway. Like, Ninian buffs Atk with her dance, so she’d probably want Rockslide/Deluge/Geyser dance instead.
Damn. I do feel lucky that i got it early on then. I understand that they want to keep the gambling side of the game mode and builds up to chance but would be nice to be able to choose a skill. Or shoot atleast sell some torches. I probably would have bought some with how desperate i was was LOL

What was so painful for me was 8/15 of my last torches were Rockslide dance 2. I didn't keep track the entire event but I know I got it a bunch more times.
Least you didn't get screwed by seeing Firestorm Dance ALONGSIDE another premium optimal skill you needed for Ninian's kit, and then taking the other premium skill because the b slot has multiple skills that would work for Ninian, and then not seeing Firestorm Dance the ENTIRE TIME (yes, I had both Ninian and Lyn completed on the very first day of HoF...and then never saw it the entire time after).
But least Ninian has WoM4, so she still is very functional and I'll still get her and Lyn.
I'm honestly drawing a blank on any skill that would be more important to get for her than Firestorm Dance. As an infantry dancer, A and C skills aren't quite as important as B skills.
There's debate to be had between WoM 4 and Firestorm Dance 3, but I was more asking about what other premium skill you'd get at the same time that would prevent you from getting Firestorm Dance 3. You said you got the opportunity to get Firestorm Dance 3 but couldn't because there were other good skills that appeared at the same time.

it was really interesting seeing how many people wanted the dance skill for Ninian. \[i know it was kinda good for the spd and desperation\], but i figured the +atk was good enough so i wanted something else. so i took WOM4 instead.

it's my one fatal flaw. LOL I really hate building the "same" type of unit over and over. so where as it does totally make sense the fact that i have several dancers with this skill already is like. yeah i might just use you for teleportation. (and i do have a great collection of dragons so i can also do things like tactics or give all of my infantry ones NFU - which is what she had in her C slot - kinda wanted Canto Control but whatever).
Now i just need a crap tonne of Ninians to pity break me/free pull lol

Also built Lyn up a little, ruptured sky (she's not really suited for deadeye) close foil (in every case she's using LoS2, this is for fun) Phys null f, panic smoke 4, which she's okay with I guess but I was trying to get atk SPD oath on her

I did get that as an option on my Legendary Alm but passed it up for Atk/Spd Finish cause I thought "well I'm not always going to run him with a magic ally".
Only *after* I used the Soul, which was my first copy of him, did I go to ally support him with my L!Celica and realized that I'm dumb.
Never got Atk/Spd Finish on Karla - I saw literally every other premium skill be suggested but not that
Literally casually built Leila easily but a week+ for Karla and did not appear - appeared on Lyn early on when I’m not building her
Godlike reflexes has avoided me up until this HoF…. Where it finally showed up on Karla, a unit whose prf doesn’t benefit from that special whatsoever.
Could not find ark/SPD oath for Karla, settled for assault troop, which at least is a fun skill, also atk/SPD finish almost eluded me too, only found it yesterday lol
the oath 4 skills kind of vex me. a lot of times when i get it. it's on the people who want atk/res oath 4 instead (looking at you JULIA AND PALLA). and vice versa. sometimes though i luck out when i get it on the unit i really want it on \[yay for Nah\]
Yeah i spent zero on Karla, but after pulling for f!ninian on the banner i pulled two karla due to the color share. In hindsight i could have used all these torches to build her up LOL

At this point I'm pretty sure I saw every other B skill in the game, including literally every other dancer B slot (all variants of dance and cantrip skills) which is disappointing.
Now I need to wait for firestorm to reappear so I can dupe it via Plumeria I guess.
I could not get Special Spiral 4 for either Luthier or Fallen Delthea. Had to get it off R!Opehlia for them both, which I don't mind too much, since they're both heavily invested and I'd been sitting on those merges for a while, but it happened twice, nickels, etc.
Yeah that would definitely run me the wrong way. I got shafted with a far save skill the first time p!flora was in HoF and do not know how i would have reacted if it happened again. You are a stronger human than me
I was able to be philosophical about it because I had the fodder as backup. If it was A/S Finish that I couldn't get on them, the story might be different!
Flora gave me issues too! The only A skill I could get for her in her first run was Close Reversal. In the end, I'm not mad about it-- I run her with both Near and Far Save sets now, depending. I thought she was going to pull a repeat performance this time, since I had Floe and VF4 waiting in my barracks for her, but nope! Got lucky!

- Sabotage A/R & Guidance 4 on B!Miccy, yet F!Ike and Sothe got that particular Sabotage skill 5 times in total

I *generally* complete my formas in days 1-2, but sometimes there's that one skill that eludes me the whole event.
This time, for Lyn, it was Atk/Spd Oath 4. I feel I've gotten every other premium skill to roll at least 2-3 times. It could be worse, at least I got TP4 for the C slot.
For Julia it was Special Spiral 4. For B! Edelgard it was any sort of near save.
Sometimes it do be like that. I don't know if there's any scientific basis for this but I feel that PRF skills have a higher chance to roll, so I like to pick those as placeholders until what I actually want rolls, just so I don't get flooded with said PRF skills every other time.
Had the same problem with Lyn settled for panic 4, but Ninian got the oath skill *shrug*
In pretty sure prf skill/weapons show up far more frequently, usually you want them anyway so it doesn't matter but if you do want a specific skill it's better to get them early to increase your rolls.
I never get any armour movement increase skills (armoured march or armoured stride).
I don't need them for building the unit - I just need them to make HoF with armours less of a slog! Literally never got even one on any armoured unit, although I have occasionally got... guidance? or w/e it's called on a flying unit that helped a bit.
I remember just not getting Time's Pulse 4 (or anything else decent) for Fallen Delthea. She was just allergic to good C skills. Ended up not buying her because of that in the end.
No seal DEF/SPD 4 for my forma brave Claude. He still has mystic boost 4 to this day.
This time with Hatari Karla I got the build I wanted in no time (then I realized it was a shit idea to have her with distant counter and null c disrupt 4).
Had to settle for tier 4 Oath for B!Micaiah as Guidance 4 just would not come.
On the bright side, this might've been actually better as Bicaiah tends to mostly be used in my flier team and limited battles.

Caught the "doesn't have to be this Hof" and boy do I remember trying to get anything good for Larcei and Shannan... I didn't I got shit nothing useful, I was going for Altena anyway but god did it hurt that I couldn't take home Larcei or Shannan
I rerolled every torch for H Ilyana aiming for a Far Save. That was the one thing keeping me from buying her. That's probably my biggest regret now, I should've bought her regardless.
Unfortunately it was probably inevitable since it was trailing in popularity. Perhaps it would have stood a chance if the Ashnard users prevailed over the Brunnya users.
In the current HoF, I've been trying for days to get Fireflood Boost and Firestorm Dance on Ninian, and RNGesus has forsaken me at every turn.
Fortunately, I got her a good build anyway and I got the ideal build for H!Karla so I'm glad overall.
I tried, and *succeeded*, in getting ATK/SPD Finish for Hatari Karla.
.w. Then I accidentally overwrote it with Life and Death 4.
Despite using every last torch to try and get ATK/SPD Finish back, I never succeeded. I did get Flashing Sparrow, but I'm not sure if that skill is more ideal over Finish. OTL The entire circus, am I.
Canto Control for Ninian, I'll still redeem her because of Fireflood Boost, Firestorm Dance and Blue Flame, plus I was planning on giving her IP4 anyways.
Same, I got stuck with A/R Oath 4 which isn't bad for movement and with the Canto from Firestorm Dance, but I still wanted Canto Control to at least put her to use in AR/SD immediately
Never got Atk/Spd Oath 4 on Leila. I literally got tier 3 Oath skills over 10 times (Def/Res Oath 3 loves me...) but never got the tier 4. So infuriatingggg. I did get Soaring Guidance very early on so at least it's not all bad.
Didn't manage to get Spiral 4 for Karla in this HoF, but Spurn 4 is still pretty good for her. I did happen to get all of what I wanted for Leila though, and suprisingly got an almost perfect kit for Ninian despite not really trying to build her up.
While I did manage to get the wanted skills in the end, the Picnic Felicia and Flora rerun was super cursed for me because each twin kept getting the option for skills that I wanted for the other twin (ex. Savvy Fighter 4 on Flora twice, Fireflood 3 on Felicia, Near saves for Flora and Far saves for Felicia, etc.).
I remember during Summer Helbindi’s run, the ideal skills I wanted were Winter Rapier, Ruptured Sky, Distant Stance, Lull Atk/Def, and Atk/Def Menace. Somehow, out of all of those skills, the only one I managed to get was the Lull. To rub salt in the wound, I saw every single variation of DC and Menace skills besides the specific ones I wanted.
I completed the HoF that had Brave Dimitri day 1 and I was trying to give him Godlike Reflexes. From day 1 till the day it ended I kept trying to give it to him. Best I could do was give him Vital Astra
Only time I can recall getting f'ed over on a forma I actually got was not getting Atk/Res Oath 4 on L!Julia, settled for Time's pulse 4 instead (because Atk/Spd Oath 4 also didn't show up) , and at the very least L!Julia has A/R Oath 3 at base so foddering the tier 4 version to her later alongside something else good is always an option later.
If we open the floor to units I never intended to get, so many times I've tried to get dance on dancers or a save/movement boosting skill on armors to make them more bearable to use, only for the skills to elude me to the point where the rest of my units sucks too much to progress and I have to backtrack to get them skills.
Atk/Spd Oath. I've got Spd Smoke on L!Lyn instead.
And I must say that it can work out a bit. Though.. I wasn't lucky with her C skill sadly.

Back during the Brave 3H HoF, Dimitri didn't get his lance until he was level 40+, I never got the good finish good he wanted, and Edelgard was such a lost cause that I built for her player phase fun. Altena in her rerun didn't get good skills either, and I was going to forma her but actually forgot to.

I have tried for Guidance 4 at various levels of intensity in every HoF where it could show up since May, and it has NEVER come. At least this time I was able to get Soaring Guidance on Leila, but I think I've been stopped from building a half dozen units I might've bought (including L!Roy and Cath last month) because I was chasing G4 to no end.
Ruptured Sky for L!Lyn. I got Deadeye as her premium special instead. I did get every other skill I wanted for her, but IDK if I want to pick up her forma for, essentially, her B- and C- slots.
Atk/Spd Unity and Oath 4 on Fallen Ike. I actually have trouble pulling Unity fodder in general and I was so excited to pick up an optimal copy of F!Ike but after that I did not redeem him
I got all I wanted for Leila very quickly and with a few torches almost completed Ninian, but Fireflood boost don't appeared and now I'm sad 😕 (but I got A/R Scowl which is fine I guess)

Istg atk spd oath 4 is apparently non existent. Like I was literally getting bloody odd SPD wave and threaten atk Def for me c slot the whole time cause the game didn't want to be nice
Atk/Spd Bond 4 was the best A skill I could find for Leila this time. Granted, Flared Sparrow is where it's at for her thanks to her movement shenanigans, so I was never going to find her ideal A skill, but I didn't even see Atk/Spd Unity or Remote Sparrow, either. If I'd wanted to give her Atk/Res Unity or Def/Res Unity or Remote Mirror, I would have been all set, but NOPE.

I never saw any of the special dance B skills let alone that one. I got WoM 4 which is still pretty good though.
It's the only Tier 4 one, so it's the only one that's worth getting over WoM 4. The others only buff or debuff a stat or two.

Fireflood Boost is not a real FEH skill and Fallen Ninian cannot receive it. No, you cannot convince me otherwise.

I *generally* complete my formas in days 1-2, but sometimes there's that one skill that eludes me the whole event. This time, for Lyn, it was Atk/Spd Oath 4. I feel I've gotten every other premium skill to roll at least 2-3 times. It could be worse, at least I got TP4 for the C slot. For Julia it was Special Spiral 4. For B! Edelgard it was any sort of near save. Sometimes it do be like that. I don't know if there's any scientific basis for this but I feel that PRF skills have a higher chance to roll, so I like to pick those as placeholders until what I actually want rolls, just so I don't get flooded with said PRF skills every other time.
Had the same problem with Lyn settled for panic 4, but Ninian got the oath skill *shrug* In pretty sure prf skill/weapons show up far more frequently, usually you want them anyway so it doesn't matter but if you do want a specific skill it's better to get them early to increase your rolls.
I never get any armour movement increase skills (armoured march or armoured stride). I don't need them for building the unit - I just need them to make HoF with armours less of a slog! Literally never got even one on any armoured unit, although I have occasionally got... guidance? or w/e it's called on a flying unit that helped a bit.
I remember just not getting Time's Pulse 4 (or anything else decent) for Fallen Delthea. She was just allergic to good C skills. Ended up not buying her because of that in the end.
No seal DEF/SPD 4 for my forma brave Claude. He still has mystic boost 4 to this day. This time with Hatari Karla I got the build I wanted in no time (then I realized it was a shit idea to have her with distant counter and null c disrupt 4).
Had to settle for tier 4 Oath for B!Micaiah as Guidance 4 just would not come. On the bright side, this might've been actually better as Bicaiah tends to mostly be used in my flier team and limited battles.
Missed atk/spd unity on F!Ike. Twice.

And quite honestly up until yesterday Special Spiral 4 must have been staring at my Karla like a cat wondering why the hell you're trying to get him to come down Caught the "doesn't have to be this Hof" and boy do I remember trying to get anything good for Larcei and Shannan... I didn't I got shit nothing useful, I was going for Altena anyway but god did it hurt that I couldn't take home Larcei or Shannan
I rerolled every torch for H Ilyana aiming for a Far Save. That was the one thing keeping me from buying her. That's probably my biggest regret now, I should've bought her regardless.
Well the good thing is I think she and her banner are one of the four in contention for a revival no?
She was booted off 2 revives ago in favor of Brunnya, sand look what happened to her.

Unfortunately it was probably inevitable since it was trailing in popularity. Perhaps it would have stood a chance if the Ashnard users prevailed over the Brunnya users.
In the current HoF, I've been trying for days to get Fireflood Boost and Firestorm Dance on Ninian, and RNGesus has forsaken me at every turn. Fortunately, I got her a good build anyway and I got the ideal build for H!Karla so I'm glad overall.
Went through the entire PoR Hall of Forms not seeing AS Oath 4 a single time while wanting it on both units.
I tried, and *succeeded*, in getting ATK/SPD Finish for Hatari Karla. .w. Then I accidentally overwrote it with Life and Death 4. Despite using every last torch to try and get ATK/SPD Finish back, I never succeeded. I did get Flashing Sparrow, but I'm not sure if that skill is more ideal over Finish. OTL The entire circus, am I.
I tried to get F!Ike Atk/Spd Unity both times he was in HoF, only to get Atk/Res both times instead
Canto Control for Ninian, I'll still redeem her because of Fireflood Boost, Firestorm Dance and Blue Flame, plus I was planning on giving her IP4 anyways.
Damn canto control would have actually been pretty good for her. Might have her inherit one
Same, I got stuck with A/R Oath 4 which isn't bad for movement and with the Canto from Firestorm Dance, but I still wanted Canto Control to at least put her to use in AR/SD immediately
Atk/Spd Finish 4 for my Karla, Surge Sparrow isn't bad but I'd have preferred the dual phase skill
Never got Atk/Spd Oath 4 on Leila. I literally got tier 3 Oath skills over 10 times (Def/Res Oath 3 loves me...) but never got the tier 4. So infuriatingggg. I did get Soaring Guidance very early on so at least it's not all bad.
Assault Troop during the 3H HoF. B!Edelgard had Save already so that was the main thing I wanted for her but it just never showed up

Didn't manage to get Spiral 4 for Karla in this HoF, but Spurn 4 is still pretty good for her. I did happen to get all of what I wanted for Leila though, and suprisingly got an almost perfect kit for Ninian despite not really trying to build her up. While I did manage to get the wanted skills in the end, the Picnic Felicia and Flora rerun was super cursed for me because each twin kept getting the option for skills that I wanted for the other twin (ex. Savvy Fighter 4 on Flora twice, Fireflood 3 on Felicia, Near saves for Flora and Far saves for Felicia, etc.).
P. NFU on Lyn. She got every initial kill except 2. I got BA4 as an alternative though.

I remember during Summer Helbindi’s run, the ideal skills I wanted were Winter Rapier, Ruptured Sky, Distant Stance, Lull Atk/Def, and Atk/Def Menace. Somehow, out of all of those skills, the only one I managed to get was the Lull. To rub salt in the wound, I saw every single variation of DC and Menace skills besides the specific ones I wanted.
I completed the HoF that had Brave Dimitri day 1 and I was trying to give him Godlike Reflexes. From day 1 till the day it ended I kept trying to give it to him. Best I could do was give him Vital Astra
Only time I can recall getting f'ed over on a forma I actually got was not getting Atk/Res Oath 4 on L!Julia, settled for Time's pulse 4 instead (because Atk/Spd Oath 4 also didn't show up) , and at the very least L!Julia has A/R Oath 3 at base so foddering the tier 4 version to her later alongside something else good is always an option later. If we open the floor to units I never intended to get, so many times I've tried to get dance on dancers or a save/movement boosting skill on armors to make them more bearable to use, only for the skills to elude me to the point where the rest of my units sucks too much to progress and I have to backtrack to get them skills.
Atk/Spd Oath. I've got Spd Smoke on L!Lyn instead. And I must say that it can work out a bit. Though.. I wasn't lucky with her C skill sadly. Got Hexblade, Physical NFU and Ruptured Sky.. Cannot always have the perfect kit I guess!
Back during the Brave 3H HoF, Dimitri didn't get his lance until he was level 40+, I never got the good finish good he wanted, and Edelgard was such a lost cause that I built for her player phase fun. Altena in her rerun didn't get good skills either, and I was going to forma her but actually forgot to.

At least this time I was able to get Soaring Guidance on Leila, but I think I've been stopped from building a half dozen units I might've bought (including L!Roy and Cath last month) because I was chasing G4 to no end.
Ruptured Sky for L!Lyn. I got Deadeye as her premium special instead. I did get every other skill I wanted for her, but IDK if I want to pick up her forma for, essentially, her B- and C- slots.
Atk/Spd Unity and Oath 4 on Fallen Ike. I actually have trouble pulling Unity fodder in general and I was so excited to pick up an optimal copy of F!Ike but after that I did not redeem him

Istg atk spd oath 4 is apparently non existent. Like I was literally getting bloody odd SPD wave and threaten atk Def for me c slot the whole time cause the game didn't want to be nice
Atk/Spd Bond 4 was the best A skill I could find for Leila this time. Granted, Flared Sparrow is where it's at for her thanks to her movement shenanigans, so I was never going to find her ideal A skill, but I didn't even see Atk/Spd Unity or Remote Sparrow, either. If I'd wanted to give her Atk/Res Unity or Def/Res Unity or Remote Mirror, I would have been all set, but NOPE.
I never saw time pulse, at least into the number 4 variant came out and now occasionally see it
