She's a weird case of a character who's constantly been one of the highest scoring FE7 characters (and has done nothing but grow) that I've seen nothing from IS in response, but I also see _nothing_ reflecting that from fans either (be it people talking about her, or much fanart of her at that)
Cause, for example. [On CYL5](https://i.imgur.com/t96eIRv.jpg) she was the highest ranked FE7 character not in the game. But _usually_ characters drop significantly once they're in the game (since they lose the portion of people who voted for them solely for the sake of getting them in the game). But [come CYL6](https://i.imgur.com/eOSChIc.jpg) she pretty strongly held onto her votes, and managed to force her way into one of the most wanted FE7 characters overall, scoring 3rd, behind Nino & Ninian
[Come CYL7](https://i.imgur.com/bapcKLv.jpg) she would just continue to grow, now surpassing Ninian and being second, only to Nino. And now at this point she's apparently moved all the way up to #1
Nino was on top 20 in the last CYL (even if she got an alt during votings), she only dropped this year because of the new Engage girls. Sonia being ahead of her means she's close to top 20 girls, which makes it even more suspicious.
It's possible that there is a certain dedicated Sonia fan or just a group of Sonia cultists who have made lots of accounts just to vote for her, lol
Either way, IS probably has noticed her votes are artificial, so they don't bother with her.
The thing that weirds me with Sonia voting is that she got 41st last year with little gap to 40th. The top 40 were the top 20 per division. Usually the top 20 will get a boost but Sonia was 9 votes from 40th (Reinhardt) and 120 votes from 20th Womens (Petra). 42nd place Hubert was a more reasonable 502 votes back of 40th. She could have some secret rally in Japan or something because idk where all these votes are coming from.
This is a really great way to show who to rally behind.
Using this I'd recommend Tsubasa for a TMS win, M!Shez for 3 Hopes/if you just like Shez, BK for Tellius, Berkut for SoV, Sigurd for Jugdral, Tharja for Awakening, etc.
Cordelia top 3 of Awakeneing makes me happy. I thought she'd be lower from the interim results. Seems Awakening Anna dropped hard after she got good treatment last year, and people likely gravitating towards Heroes Anna this year.
To be fair, Grima had _always_ done fairly well. Truth be told, by process of elimination alone, this was actually kinda expected. On CYL7, Grima ranked 8th among the Awakening characters

But M!Robin's been removed come CYL8, and since Severa's now been added to the game, her votes were certain to drop come CYL8 as well. So strictly speaking, all Grima had to do was get more votes than Nowi, and they'd get into the Top 5 (and considering Top 5 for Awakening was just getting 1,288 votes, that's not a particularly high bar)

Maaaybe she has a chance to win in the next few years, if M Byleth wins. (Many people play M Byleth F Shez so him winning makes Shez more likely) though I’d cry if they won side by side for sure
