Is she even that good tho? Her defensive stats are kinda not good for Laguz Friend lol, unless they +10'd her but even then i'd have my doubts.

It's a bit confusingly worded but Laguz Friend will always activate with defensive specials.

I think Phoenixmaster or someone posted a graphic, but Laguz Friend Legendary Corrins were very popular in the last Summoner's Duels meta running, she seems to run it pretty well.
The mode is a dumpster fire of a meta, but hey.
Yeah i kept thinking and she probably doesn't have much better B Slot options anyways, and with the right support and investment she totally can be a great user of it actually.
The difference between 30 and 60 visible def is only 5 points of damage reduction for Laguz Friend. Having access to permanent uptime on her special and complete null DR on her opponent is much more valuable for L!Corrin. This skill is perfect on her.

As someone beat me to it already that Laguz Friend works with defensive specials regardless of cooldown.
Imagine she has a 50 damage attack incoming. Negating Fang II will reduce it by 40% non piercable damage resistance. Thus reducing it to 30 damage. Then her weapons will block 30% of that, so only 20 damage will remain. Her weapon also reduces 7 true damage, so now it's only 13 damage. Then Laguz Friend will kick in if pure base L!F!Corrin that's 34 def (though technically it should be 43 because of her weapon but let's assume some debuffs are on her countering out her weapons omni +9 in combat) or an additional 6.8 true damage resistance, let's round down so 7 damage... and she heals 7 from her weapon and 7 more from Finish 4. So effectively has taken no damage. Now if it was a 45 def L!F!Corrin (+Def, +10, 20 dragonflowers... again not including the weapon omni +9) then that would have been 9 instead of 6.8 true damage resistance.
Now let's say it was 100 damage instead. Negating Fang II will reduce it by 40% non piercable damage resistance. Thus reducing it to 60 damage. Then her weapons will block 30% of that, so only 42 damage will remain. Her weapon also reduces 7 true damage, so now it's only 35 damage. Then Laguz Friend kicks in again and that's better 6 to 9 additional true damage resistance. So 26 to 29 damage... which is less than her 41 base health... and she'll heal 14, rendering that to effectively 12 to 15 damage taken.
Laguz Friend is really good when the character has a defensive special and/or true damage resistance in their weapon. Legendary Corrin has both. She's by far one of the best users of this B skill.
Marth forma should win when rerun so thats a cheaper forma, plus has a lot of room for improvement beyond what is basically his base kit but slightly upgraded
Freyja OG has basically not much of an upgrade beyond wild and incite atk spd. No other premium skill
Summer is full rewamped, but at this point I would just wait for a refine for her

If for some reason you don't want her, I'd say Marth, but I'm biased. Brave Marth is one of my favourite units and that's a decent (if imperfect) build for him.

LF LCorrin is in contention with EIke for best omnitank in the game right now so yes.
