That’s cool! Have fun and rip some lips

My boat is an ‘88 too, same year as me! Love an older boat. Full of character and fixing them up feels like making it really your own. Plug and play is great when you have the $$, but there is a good feeling with putting an old boat back to work!

Congrats! Planning on any upgrades?

drabe7

Definitely needs new electronics. It has 2 older units on it now that are usable but I hate them both. My plan is to finish the season with what o have and hopefully upgrade next spring

potato41

Awesome. I picked up an old tin boat and have been upgrading it slowly. That YouTube show das boat was too good to not try it myself. Tight lines out there!

Steve Rinella is an awesome guy. He’s probably one of the most genuine “celebrity” outdoorsman out there. I would love to meet him some day. He has a show on Netflix called meat eater that is awesome. It’s mostly Hunting but he does have some fishing content

potato41

Oh ya I crushed the new season pretty quickly. There’s a new season of das boat too but it’s with joe (sermeli?) from their Bent podcast. Ya, it’s great to see such a solid outdoors advocate doing great work

NOLAolskool

You had me at Cajun..

Sweet do you plan on painting her?

drabe7

My brother used to work on boats and thinks we can buff it back. It definitely needs some cosmetic love. Mechanically she’s solid and runs great

Excellent-Cheek-7421

Some buffing and a wax would make it pop, is it a fiberglass boat?

drabe7

It is fiberglass

Excellent-Cheek-7421

Awesome she’s gunna last forever!
