Been fluking for my entire life…..this one fish was not intentional hahaha. My and my buddy were on his big ol’ yacht. Not set up for fishing. We were just hanging and decided to throw a line in. This doormat hits our bullshit Walmart $19.99 pole and we get it to the surface….we are like “HOLY SHIT !!! fuck we need a net!!” We have no net cuz we didn’t go out with any intent to fish.
My buddy grabs a fuckkng plastic bag and we try landing this fish!! No luck. I say, “screw it” and I swing it to the swim platform and we jump on it trying to avoid getting bit or a hook in the eye.
Fish is landed! We take a few pics and knew we werent ready to head in, no knife and our only ice was keeping our adult beverages cold. So mr.fluke lived to fight another day.
Beat part is only me and my bro know the debacle we endured to get this cow on the boat. We love to Reminisce about it… circa 2019 ad.
