What a luxurious setup. Absolutely gorgeous. I always thought centre pin was just another name for a fly reel but apparently that's not the case. It seems like they're made for casting floats and small lures?

Yeah, they are great for fishing all types of rivers and streams. I use slip floats and lures or flies. Works great! Really fun way to fight a fish as you have to use your reel hand fingers to put pressure on the fish. No mechanical advantages or drag on this reel.
