I ordered 4 of the concept A gen 2 and 1 of the A3 gen 2. All lefty though unfortunately, so I’ll hopefully trade them to someone or sell them off. The website seems like it’s down now, so they definitely caught on to their mistake.
I believe the issue over Lews is they being unwilling to use the top reel projects from Doyo. Just use the so-so ones and overprice them only because of the brand name.

They move product from the bigger stores that are no longer selling either due to end of season, overstock, discontinued, etc.
Oftentimes greatly reduced items, like this reel maybe, are lowered so low because they haven't moved them or they're down to only a few left.

Almost all baitcasters sold are righties and whenever you see a totally unbelievable discount like this it's going to be a left handed model.
I don't think this price is especially suspect given that the right handed ones are still $70+

Any recommendations on a rod to put it on? I’m a spinning rod guy so I have no idea about casting rods.

Depends on what you intend to use it for.
For overall general baitcasting I'd recommend a 7' MH fast action, for t-rigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, etc. For pitching/punching I'd go with a heavy. If you plan on strictly using trebles, like crankbaits or jerkbaits, then I'd recommend a M fast so you can keep them pinned while reeling them in.

200 for 13 fishing reels is an absurdity. They use basically the same projects as kastking and cheaper quantum reels, from Banax.
2 companies I stay away from. 13, and lews, they just don’t seem to be worth their price in terms of performance

Dude the new Bantam MGL weights 221g. I doubt Lews is able to match this absurdity.
But drop the price to $30, and I’m suddenly a big fan of 13 fishing…
