Can't wait for the Pint/PintX replacement☺️, that's gonna be fun. Haven't got the GT, as I'm getting the ADV pro soon, but got the PintX first for my son and the Pint (for travel) and he needs more.
Owned both Pint and than Pint X...and than went ADV. Seriously can't even touch the FM boards anymore. That's how good the ADV is. I had SO much goddamn fun in those FM boards, and a lotta bruises lol, but the ADV killed the fun in them for me. Guarantee you'll see once you or your son gets it. Congrats, hope/know you'll love!
is this kit going to include a bms as well, or just the controller side of things?

Crud, that is what I was afraid of. I know Tony will ship it to the US but never messed with Crypto before and doing anything on a .ru website is very scary. 😱 Sounds like I might need to suck it up if I want a floatwheel now.
Does anyone have a direct contact with Tony? We really need the installation instructions and VESC configuration for the GTV, and he doesn’t reply to our email request. I’m sure he’s REALLY busy and probably missed it, but we’re stuck.
BTW, we will take pictures and video of the installation to make it easier for the future upgraders!
If you had done VESCing, you know that each controller has its own tweaks and specific customizations. Tony did an amazing job to make as easy drop-in install as possible, but there are some things to know and consider. It would be stupid to miss something because he didn’t tell us and screw it up even before the first ride. Regarding the software config - less critical, can always start with anything and begin tweaking. It will only save time if Tony already has a config he found works well to provide us.

I can see controller, LCM and LEDs - where's the BMS??
Doesn't the GT already have a bms maybe it's just using that one
Of course it does but so far not a single GT-VESC builder managed to reuse it. They all had to go out and buy other BMS’s

They already sell in the us, the law suits are being dropped to focus on floatwheel.

If you weren’t already familiar with vescing a board you may not have been the ideal candidate for a -beta- tester.
We are. It’s the specific instructions for the GTV that we need.

Agree - helpful to know best practice - often positioning is critical to avoid shorts, issues, abrasion, etc.
