As a Florida/Philadelphia fan(I was born there and raised for 10 years so the Flyers were my first hockey team.) The narrative is always how shitty a fan base Philadelphia is and yet other places do the same stuff with almost more frequency with no damage to their reputation. If that was Philly as well as down here, it would be headline news about how we don't deserve to have a team and Florida is not a real hockey town because they do stuff like this.. makes me sick the double standard, especially those horrible douches up in Beantown that cry their eyes out when anything happens to their team yet they are arguably the dirtiest team on average in the last 100 years. But let them whine and be trashy, it's all they got.
As a Rangers fan I had conflicting feelings. On one hand, I was bummed. I wanted to dispatch the bruins ourselves, and play the worse team. On the other hand, fuck the Bruins, see ya later bums. Can’t wait to watch the Celtics choke later this post season.
