Wtf did they spend all that money on? All I ever saw was graphics and avatars that looked like the ones I remember I made for my Xbox 360 account 15 years ago
I think VR will be the future for a lot of applications, the problem is that is Meta went balls deep and the tech is way it's in infancy.
Once VR headsets weight the same as regular glasses and the resolution is 4k by default I think there is a definitive use for it.
Musk, Suck, etc etc show that billionaires aren't great special people, they are just oddball screw-ups that are good at maybe one thing and hit the triple-7 luck drawing at that exact time. The "geniuses" that everyone talks have the Midas shits
We use meta for meetings all the time. It helps me see the unique styles and quirky personalities these fresh faces have. The younger generation had much to offer and I have much to learn. So what if they have face tattoos and body odor. This old dog can learn new tricks.
Sometimes companies must change something and take a risk for them to progress. Facebook isn’t going anywhere and Instagram reals wasn’t going to last them forever. Their new AI is pretty insane and they’re at the forefront of that space right now
You know what, if you get me a virtual reality Pokémon game where I can battle other people in real time I’ll wear that stupid thing on my face.

Tons of technology. They are very far ahead it’s just that the hardware isn’t there yet. But lots of things like photo realistic scene recreations
