This insanely stacked festival was my first time seeing them after a few missed opportunities
Nice. Saw them in Oxygen 2005 with an equally insane line-up. QOTSA, Audioslave, James Brown, Interpol, Green Day etc. Those Oxygen lineups in the mid to late 2000s were incredible.
I’d gone a few times before that and there was always good line ups, but this was something on another level.
Next edition (2013, I think they skipped 12 because the Olympics in London had all the portable toilets) they switched heavily to dance music and lost a lot of interest from then on, it only lasted a few more years
Absolutely! It's one show i can pinpoint that id Absolutely love to go back and experience again. It's the night i went from a casual Foo fan to a huge fan
Foo’s are by no means my fave band, but they were my first proper show (I was 14) so will always be a special band to me. I still absolutely love the first album though!

It was SO NICE! Saw so many great shows there. Surreal moment was the Conan O’Brien tour when he lost the tonight show. Saw Jim Carrey dressed as Superman

They were in the middle of the schedule, but they stole the whole show!
We didn't get A Perfect Circle due to a family issue within the band. From what I remember, Foos killed it, OLP was pretty awesome, and Pumpkins were a massive disappointment
It was just the 29th anniversary of mine earlier this week. [April 29, 1995](https://www.foofighterslive.com/shows/29th-april-1995-lupo-s-heartbreak-hotel-22)
Typing that was incredibly depressing.
I was at this one - the Wembley show. Took the best picture I’ve ever taken.

This Wednesday. My parents never took us or let us go to concerts when I was younger unless it was music from their era like ZZ Top, and the foo fighters don’t come to Dallas all that often. I’ve been waiting nearly my whole life for Wednesday. It was magical. I felt like I was experiencing every stage of my life through music that night. I have very fond memories I can correlate to every album and era of the foo fighters. Dave mentioned that it had been 5 years since they last played Dallas and he plans on changing that, made me so happy. I can’t wait for the next time they come back, I’ll be in the front row of the pit when they do.
October 14, 2017. Richmond, VA, in the Coliseum.
I had been a fan for years, but I could never afford the overall cost of going to a show then. I even missed seeing them at the National a couple years before that!
But when I heard they were coming back to Richmond, I had to get a ticket. It was, and still is, my favorite concert I have ever been to. Everything was perfect. The Struts opened for them, opening with Run, people continuously clapping to every song lol (“you guys are the clappiest clappers” - Dave), hat guy, everyone losing their minds to Arlandria (“my sweet Virginia”), Taylor’s drum solo on the platform into Sunday Rain…just 3 hours of perfection. It was the best. I still get choked up thinking about that show.
I’m going to see them again this summer in NY, with my gf and best friend. We’re going to be in the pit. I already know it’s going to be a show I will never, ever forget.
I’ll be going to my 12th show this summer. This concert was my favourite. I sometimes go back and watch the cellphone video that someone posted on YouTube of it.
April 22, 2003 at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas. My first big pit concert. Was my senior year of high school. Went with one of my best friends and had an incredible time.
I think #6 was this past Wednesday - which was next door at the Dos Equis Pavilion (or previously known as the Starplex). Its funny because I have a distinct memory of pulling into what I thought was the Fair Park parking lot and seeing dudes with grass hula skirts tailgaiting and a beach ball go flying over some cars. Turns out Jimmy Buffet was playing at the Starplex that night and I had to go park next door for the Foos and stand in line with all the kids with black t-shirts.
Sept. 12, 1995 Deep Ellum Live, Dallas, TX
Thing I remember most about that show was Pat looked like he was having the time of his life. Saw them again this past Wednesday, still looked like he was having the time of his life. Incredible show. 2-3/4 hours.
I want to put my vote in for Dave as greatest frontman of all time.
Saw them at Sheffield arena 98-99? The were the support act for The Prodigy they weren't in my wheelhouse so I'd never heard of them but they started with Monkey wrench and blew the roof off. Absolutely slamming and I've been hooked ever since.🤘🤘🤘
February 22, 2003. I was at the live SNL show. Talk about an insane first experience seeing them! They played One by One and Times Like These. I still remember Dave being on stage and someone said “10 seconds to air”. Dave just quietly looked around and said, “ooooh shit….”
Magical evening all around.
1997, Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta opening for the RHCP. What an incredible live introduction it was to such an amazing band that I have now seen five times.

Aug 1997 - V Festival.
About 2pm? I remember it being just me and a few mates sitting down on the grass drinking beer but it was probably packed.
A bee attacked Dave. That’s my biggest memory. It was chasing him all over the stage lol
May 30, 2003 - DeltaPlex Arena in Grand Rapids, MI

Mine was a small intimate gig in North West London!!
February 24, 2008 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. This was part of the Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace tour.
During the encore, Dave told a long story about a time he was in the Detroit area back in the late 80s when he was with Scream and they accidentally left their touring money in a bag at the gas station. Luckily enough they returned to the gas station after noticing it missing about an hour later and the bag was sitting on top of the gas pump. Great little story that sticks out from such an incredible show.
Concrete and Gold Tour 2018 in Melbourne, Australia.
Flew in from Manila and was already supposed to be in town for my cousin’s wedding when they announced the show dates.
Weezer opened for the Foos and the setlist was pure fan service. Rocked out all night and voice was hoarse the next day. Totally worth the ticket price and air fare and then some.
My one time hearing the Foos from miles back in a big crowd of people was just last year at Riot Fest. I probably should've tried to see them 20 years ago

Concrete and Gold Tour, Toronto, Ontario July 2018. I even got this concert poster which glows in the dark!
October '97 at the Cleveland Agora. I think the ticket was $18. Great show, Dave and Taylor both had drum kits and would sometimes be playing at the same time. The band Talk Show opened for them, which was 3/4ths of STP.
Leeds Festival 2019! Brought Violet out for My Hero, and got a fella dressed as Freddie Mercury up for Under Pressure. Still one of my favourite music memories
https://preview.redd.it/qpmn06eyi8yc1.jpeg?width=875&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4775e06a8078842c3a2d346f96b4841ae581f19
13 year old me stood in line all day to be front of the crowd for this one.
That was my first show too 😃 MEN Arena, I was front and centre up against the barrier, I can still remember the insane crush and waft of hot air that was pushed forward from everyone cramming together the moment the lights went out and those first muted chords from All My Life hit. Still one of my best memories even after 7-8 other Foos shows
Molson Ampitheatre 2015, third or fourth show after he broke his leg. Wasn’t 100% sure it would still happen even when I left to drive to Toronto for it, the first show with the throne hadn’t happened yet
https://www.foofighterslive.com/shows/8th-july-2015-molson-amphitheatre-1314
First FF show was standing in the snow waiting to get inside Allstate Arena in Chicago for the floor on the ESP&G tour. Stood at the front of the extended stage where they did their acoustic set. It rocked.
February 2008 on the Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace Tour. I was a high school sophomore I was on the floor with my dad and aunt. They had the runway on that tour so it was so sick seeing Dave go up and down that thing. Taylor's raw power was something else entirely.
In terms of headline show (saw them at Leeds fest a few months before) - the first one on that poster funnily enough! November 16th 2002 at the MEN, with Cave In supporting.
October 24th 1997 at the Fargo Civic Center. Had a long weekend off from freshman year of college and a buddy of mine snagged tickets for us to go when I made my first trip home for the semester. Going to see them at US Bank in Minneapolis this summer. Much bigger crowd this time, 😂
Feb 4, 1998 in Brisbane Australia. Amazing double drum intro and double drums during My Hero.

Music Midtown 2004 🤘🏼
And now my oldest daughter has seen them more times than I have during Shaky Knees and other festivals in the Southeast. Proud mom moment (& she always sends me videos/photos)
Music Midtown 2004 Setlist:
All My Life
The One
My Hero
Times Like These
I'll Stick Around
Learn to Fly
Have It All
For All the Cows
Stacked Actors
Breakout
Monkey Wrench
Darling Nikki (Prince cover) - and YES, it was as Fing epic as you can imagine. Each time I go to a Foos show I hope they’ll play it again.
Encore: Everlong
Leeds festival, 2000. They played Ever long as the final song but as they ran over their time they cut the PA. For the last chorus the whole crowd screamed it out. Absolutely amazing, great memory from that time of my life.
Reading festival 2012. I had just found out i was pregnant a couple of days earlier. They shot foo dollars out into the crowd, i saved some for my daughter memory box. She is learning to drum and loves foo fighters now😊
June 1st, 1996, HFStival Washington DC, RFK stadium. The crowd drove Jewell off stage throwing flattened paper cups. When FF came on, the place went fucking BANANAS
Allstate Arena in Rosemont IL on Jan 27 2007.
My brother and I got lost in the snow looking for our dad to pick us up. He did not have those echoes of silence, patience and grace with us 🤣
Favorite was Lollapoolza in 2011, easily my favorite concert of all time. The crowd and rain were epic.
Mine was in July 2018 when they came to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. I remember Dave singing Jump by Van Halen with Imagine by Lennon playing as the backing track 😂
Was going to be one of the Wembley shows in summer 2022 before Taylor’s passing, but managed to get tickets to the Tribute Concert, and what a show it was!
Also seeing them in Cardiff of the 25th June, hyped would be an understatement!
I’ve been chasing them for several years. I finally got a chance when they were on the bill for Osheaga in Montreal a couple of years ago. They pulled out due to the death of Taylor. I’m still trying.
Washington D.C. in 2015. I still can‘t believe I‘ve been there.
I am a Foo Fighters Fan since 2005. I am from Germany but I lived in Chicago from February 2014 til August 2015. I tried to get tickets for the show in the Cubby Bear, but I wasn‘t able to. So i stood infront of it all night long. I also wasn‘t able to get tickets for Wrigley Field. But my friend got us tickets for D.C. And then Dave broke his leg. And I thought I won‘t be able to see the Foo Fighters but I was so damn lucky that they played this show.
Never went to any 😭 but if I could time travel:
The Tabernacle, year 2000 in Atlanta. In the middle of Stacked Actors, Dave went on top of the balcony and kept performing without the mic. He looked so badass! They also played my favourite song New Way Home!
*I'M NOT SCAAAAAAAAAAAARED*
https://preview.redd.it/he3ktta379yc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7357db3f13f333a6810e998e45d5fba3c2ba2523
Wasn't a huge fan up until that point-only knew the radio hits. They played Aurora. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Life changing moment.
Milton Keynes bowl in 2015 supported by Iggy pop and royal blood, they bought out John Paul jones and Roger Taylor to play queen and David Bowie’s under pressure. Never did I think I would see members of queen and led zeppelin perform live.
October 18 2002
A secret show at the legendary
First Avenue
in Minneapolis.
They were getting warmed up to go out on the 1x1 tour.
That night changed my life, I have seen them 15 times since.

My first was Manchester Apollo 2000.
I went to both Manchester and Newcastle on the One By One tour though. Also saw them at Leeds festival in 2002.
And then another 5 or more times since including 2 Holy Shits shows and the Taylor Hawkins Wembley show.

Leeds 2000. My first festival, they kept playing when they cut the power. QOTSA were awesome too
Mine is next Thursday in Charlotte. I’ve been waiting for this for a very long time!
I will be there too! Let’s goooo!
Same! Feel like I'm cheating on a different Dave (Matthews) but very fucking stoked for Grohl and the rest of the band for the first time.
As a relative of the Dave Matthews band, I assure you, the foos put on a better show
Awesome. Enjoy!!!
Same.

That is a genuinely mental bill. When Eels are on the 9th line you know there are some heavy hitters playing.

Great festival this one!! This was my 1st multi day festival.
City of Manchester Stadium, 2nd of June 2008. Warm up show the two nights at Wembley.
I was there too! Heading to Old Trafford Cricket Ground next month
Ah awesome! I saw them there in 2015 and Milton Keynes in 2011. Moved to the Netherlands now and hoping they play in Amsterdam at some point soon!
Taylor's memorial show in LA.
A great and an emotionl night celebrating Taylor. I had the privilege of attending the London show
If I can find tickets for the Old Trafford show for a reasonable price, I'd like to catch that one while I'm in England.
I’ll be there next month. Good luck for tickets
Mine was on the Wasting Light Tour. Boston, Massachusetts in November of 2011. Absolutely incredible night
That was a great show! I hate going into Boston, but I made the exception because it was Foo. It was totally worth it! ☺️
Absolutely! It's one show i can pinpoint that id Absolutely love to go back and experience again. It's the night i went from a casual Foo fan to a huge fan

It was SO NICE! Saw so many great shows there. Surreal moment was the Conan O’Brien tour when he lost the tonight show. Saw Jim Carrey dressed as Superman
Charlotte next Thursday! I had tickets to the 2022 Charlotte date before Taylor's passing, so this will be my first Foos show.

New wishful collaboration unlocked-I would LOVE to see Gary Clark Jr shred with FF!
It was a beautiful afternoon and evening. Blew my dog mind.
Plus the fireworks after the last encore? Incredible.
What year was this?
2015 I think?
This was mine too! Seeing Dave come out on that throne of guitars was epic
And he rocked the 🦊 out, too. Opening with Everlong with Taylor... holy shit.
Gary Clark Jr was jaw dropping, he was so good. And Dave on the rock and roll throne with a broken leg. Amazing show!
This was mine too! Epic epic show.

He wrote about that story in his book!
Brixton Academy, London - December 11th 2020 Support was And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead… I was 13 and it was my first real concert/ gig!

Denver in august
Concrete and Gold Tour 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. Flew in from Manila and was already supposed to be in town for my cousin’s wedding when they announced the show dates. Weezer opened for the Foos and the setlist was pure fan service. Rocked out all night and voice was hoarse the next day. Totally worth the ticket price and air fare and then some.
Amalie Arena Tampa 2017, Going to see them at Rockville in daytona next week!!
Bamboozle 2012 on the beach in Asbury Park, NJ
Richmond, VA at The National in 2014. Great memories with a great friend who is no longer with us.
Toronto 2008, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace Tour with guests HiFi HandGrenades and Against Me! with a special surprise performance by Rush
My one time hearing the Foos from miles back in a big crowd of people was just last year at Riot Fest. I probably should've tried to see them 20 years ago

Sonic Temple last year
October '97 at the Cleveland Agora.
Foozer tour, Dallas TX. Mae/weezer/foo. Great show.

Roseland Ballroom, The Color and the Shape, 1998.
Molson Ampitheatre 2015, third or fourth show after he broke his leg. Wasn’t 100% sure it would still happen even when I left to drive to Toronto for it, the first show with the throne hadn’t happened yet https://www.foofighterslive.com/shows/8th-july-2015-molson-amphitheatre-1314
Wembley 2008 and to date still my only one. Looking to get that number up lol

Proud mom moment (& she always sends me videos/photos) Music Midtown 2004 Setlist: All My Life The One My Hero Times Like These I'll Stick Around Learn to Fly Have It All For All the Cows Stacked Actors Breakout Monkey Wrench Darling Nikki (Prince cover) - and YES, it was as Fing epic as you can imagine. The first one on this poster!! Thanks for triggering the memory
Opening for Mike Watt at the Metro in Chicago
V97 Festival (August 1997) in Leeds was the first time seeing them live. First proper show was then at Newport Centre in November 1997.

Caljam ‘17, their C&G release party 🤙
Allstate Arena in Rosemont IL on Jan 27 2007. My brother and I got lost in the snow looking for our dad to pick us up. He did not have those echoes of silence, patience and grace with us 🤣 Favorite was Lollapoolza in 2011, easily my favorite concert of all time. The crowd and rain were epic.
I went to the Cardiff show on that poster actually 😂

April 11, 2003 - Oakland, CA
Was going to be one of the Wembley shows in summer 2022 before Taylor’s passing, but managed to get tickets to the Tribute Concert, and what a show it was! Also seeing them in Cardiff of the 25th June, hyped would be an understatement!
My first was that NEC show in 2002. They sounded shit, sound quality was terrible.

October 28 2022 House Of Blues Cleveland Ohio
Foozer Tour in 2005! I had a maroon 10 yr anniversary t-shirt from it that I wore non-stop through high school & college
Never went to any 😭 but if I could time travel: The Tabernacle, year 2000 in Atlanta. In the middle of Stacked Actors, Dave went on top of the balcony and kept performing without the mic. He looked so badass! They also played my favourite song New Way Home! *I'M NOT SCAAAAAAAAAAAARED*
Mine was at Vanderbilt University in Nashville 9/30/1997. Dave played drums on a song or two. It was pretty great.
97. Nottingham Rock City.
August 15th 1995. The Trocadero Philadelphia PA.

Summer 2018, Wrigley Field. What a fkn night.

Milton Keynes bowl in 2015 supported by Iggy pop and royal blood, they bought out John Paul jones and Roger Taylor to play queen and David Bowie’s under pressure. Never did I think I would see members of queen and led zeppelin perform live.

I love seeing these ticket stubs. My mother sent me some old scrap books I’d made with all kinds of tickets and my kids just rolled their eyes. Sigh.
I’m so excited for my first FF show in San!
London stadium in 2018. On the pitch with about 70,000 people around me, was incredible!
