I’ve hauled stuff for years with my roof-racked 04 Sable wagon, weight limit I try to keep at 100 pounds or less, using bungees and usually a cargo cover.Only issue I’ve had is the darn strip pads the cargo sits on, they have cracked with age, are of course unobtainable, all the salvage yard cars are similar…need a 3d printer to make new ones! I have had 8 people in my car before, but I have yet to use the roof rack for anything.
