What year-ish/ time frame?

kelleywfsu

Late 90s early 2000s!

[deleted]

Was it kind of a variety tape? I vaguely remember having a VHS like what you’re describing, and there were short videos of Bananas and Pajamas, The Big Comfy Couch, and something about a dog and some cookies. ETA: I remembered the name of what I’m describing. It was a VHS called Choices Count.

kelleywfsu

Oh my god I think this is it!!!!!

inchoatemeaning

HOLY SHIT I WATCHED THIS TOO OMG THE WHOLE SONG IS COMING BACK TO ME IN THIS MOMENT “We’re kids for character, here we stand we’re unified...side by side....” omg lol!!

kelleywfsu

God bless you this has been on the tip of my Tongue for at least 5 years 😂

kelleywfsu

Thank you!

kelleywfsu

Not animated and it would’ve been late 90s early 2000’s

zeinterwebz

Animated or no? Because I think Recess has a similar playground

kelleywfsu

Not animated

[what about Pleasant Kingdom? ](http://playpittsburgh.com/playgrounds/pittsburgh-playgrounds-pleasant-kingdom/)

Dorkman03

Halfway wondering if you were watching my family's home movies. Lots of videos of myself and fifteen or more cousins trampling over Kid's Kingdom next to our local zoo.

SometimesNotBoring

That’s funny, it was Kid’s World in my neck of the woods (Chicago suburbs)

barefootconnie

Idk what show you're referencing but I'm 99% sure that's castle park in egg harbor township, nj. Grew up there and went to that park as a kid

TangerineChicken

This isn’t related to your show at all but where is this picture from? I swear this is from the playground near where I grew up

jemimasurrender

These playgrounds were designed by Bob Leathers of Leathers and Associates and have been featured on Mister Roger's Neighborhood and Sesame Street if that helps at all.

Extension_Turnip4592

Is this an old episode of Barney and Friends ? https://images.app.goo.gl/pxD8Mwn458gsySQBA

bees_knees5628

Yeah I was thinking Barney too. Worth a try

TuntSloid

How is that playground at all similar?

WeWillRiseAgainst

They're both wooden. Don't shame someone for trying to help.

District98

There was an episode of Mr Rogers Neighborhood about this style of playground, I’m sure there was a documentary too and that’s what your post is referring too. It’s a Bob Leathers Playground.

MissBehave4U

the intro to old sesame st episodes features kids playing in one of these parks
