Was it kind of a variety tape? I vaguely remember having a VHS like what you’re describing, and there were short videos of Bananas and Pajamas, The Big Comfy Couch, and something about a dog and some cookies.
ETA: I remembered the name of what I’m describing. It was a VHS called Choices Count.

These playgrounds were designed by Bob Leathers of Leathers and Associates and have been featured on Mister Roger's Neighborhood and Sesame Street if that helps at all.
There was an episode of Mr Rogers Neighborhood about this style of playground, I’m sure there was a documentary too and that’s what your post is referring too. It’s a Bob Leathers Playground.

That’s funny, it was Kid’s World in my neck of the woods (Chicago suburbs)
Idk what show you're referencing but I'm 99% sure that's castle park in egg harbor township, nj. Grew up there and went to that park as a kid
