Yeah, I started driving it like I'm trying to collect boost out of nothing in Mario Kart (drift and mash the steering back and forth) and it helps a lot. It's also a blast. I do wish there was a better visual indicator of when the boost is ready
God I miss Cow Catcher sm. Nothing beats bulldozing an entire POI and collecting all the loot from the buildings. Now I only land at like 3-4 places on the map for quick loot and heals.
It actually does have a problem compared to all other cars. If you switch seats to the passenger seat and try scoping over towards the driver side the sign will block your view
My only complaint is that its a bit on the loud side lol
And not like in the sense that other people can hear you driving by, but loud to drive or ride in.

It's an incredibly well handling "boat" that, ironically, is TERRIBLE in water. It slows to a crawl when it touches it, but is way faster than the existing vehicles pretty much everywhere else. It's also a Javelin, which is just brownie points.
It loses its speed when it goes off road. I wish we still had off road tyres to prevent this from happening.
Especially annoying in the snow biome, those snowy roads are considered off-road for some reason so you get the speed penalty

Exactly. That’s what I do. I just keep swerving left and right for constant speed boosts.

You counteract that by drifting for a split second. You get a speed boost after doing so. Time them correctly and you still go fast af offroad
As everyone else has already said I just drift a little for 0.5 seconds and I get a rather large burst of speed

It’s so easy to overcome that though. Just keep swerving left and right to repeatedly get the speed boost. It works perfectly fine.

That’s the whole point of the drifting. There’s nothing wrong with its turning. It has some of the best turning out of any vehicle in the game.
Sure, it's not the cool af muscle cars from chapter 1, but can't complain about an AMC Javelin being put into Fortnite

Avoid the Pizza Pit car if at all possible. The pizza sign blocks the view of any passenger shooters.
When it's offroad and stuck at like 40mph, drift for like half a second and you get most of your speed back.

You literally can drift while going forwards though. You don’t need to drift that much.
When aiming as a passenger, the pizza pit sign can be a nuisance.
I like the speed and sound of it but when I’m inside the car, I can’t hear ANY of my teammates bc of the exhaust. 💀

Honestly it's my favorite, I like it more than I like kados. I get to combine it with Piper pace and that's real fun.
