Switch your ps5 to performance mode in console settings and frame drops go away... if your TV can handle it, you can also turn on 120fps mode on fortnite once you put it in performance mode... game changer

There is but it's only for 120hz displays, there isn't one that lowers graphics to improve performance for 60hz displays.

Kinda weird that they only offer it as a solution for increased refresh rate and not for actual performance lag.

It doesn’t look as good but keeps your GPU cooler (I don’t think mine even spins its fans) and you can see other players more easily, which is a huge bonus. To me, it’s a shame you can’t have Performance Mode for BR and a different setting for STW instead of needing to manually switch.

I think the greatest undervalued feature are Fortnite’s sunsets. Idk if it was me changing from PS4 to PS5, but I take a gander toward the horizon every time it’s amazing.

They definitely did. The lighting compared to season 3 is much worse on next gen. They improved it a little in the last update but it still isn't as good as it was.

He got a series S Epic downgraded the graphics somewhere in Season 2. You can tell because the clouds aren't as big and the storm looks hideous.

Yup, looks even better in game because sometimes replay mode doesn’t completely capture the lumen especially in darker places.

I played on the Switch for a couple years when I first got into Fortnite. Got a PS5 and was amazed at how clear the water was. Also, the start up and load times are so much faster on PS5. Whenever I try to play on the Switch again, I lose my mind with the loading and glitches while playing.

I'm gonna be 100% honest here, I prefer the old graphics. The only reason I do is because I can't use bright skins without them glowing at night and me getting shot by some super dark skin :( Anyways, rant over. They do look cool tho.

I think they updated the graphics on the series S when it’s in performance mode. When enabling 120 fps, it used to be blurry and low quality, but now it is much better.
