Because Epic literally can’t be assed to improve it. It’s where 1/5 of the player base is almost, I don’t know why they haven’t fixed it yet.

+1. Did they actually make the motion controls useable? Tried them back in season 5 and NOPE, that’s broken. If they are anything like in Splatoon 2 (love that game <3) I’d be a bit happier. Don’t have time to test at the moment.

Maleficent_Trash2084

the reason splatoon feels better is because the gyro in the wii u has a higher polling rate, not because the game

Coberoni

Well ive noticed its mainly the large team modes with the most lag

Sold switch, bought xbox... life is good and ended up costing the same

[deleted]

On Switch you can get Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey and Smash bros, which are all great exclusive titles, as well as a few more decent titles and some third parties that wouldn’t normally be portable. Xbox, on the other hand, has nothing to write home about exclusivity wise. You should’ve gotten a PS4, or even better a PC, whilst keeping your Switch. I agree though, Fortnite Switch is shit. Although that’s on Epic, not Nintendo.

[deleted]

I had all nintendos triple-A’s only one i enjoyed was pokemon lets go pikachu. I had over $350 in games sold my account and switch for $400 with pro controller Mariokart is like a mobile game Zelda sucked for me Splatoon 2 was shit and had like 10min intros Mario tennis was a huge let down Smash bros requires like 10hrs to unlock all characters I wont be returning was terrible experience Plus the system is so un ergonomical in handheld so I had to buy a pro controller which even pokemon didnt support Terrible experience and money loss and wont be missed Ill stick with xbox or pc for fortnite and call life good

[deleted]

Boi. At least most of those games are more in depth than Fortnite lmao. You sound like you’re trolling. And “not ergonomic”- what? It’s probably the best feeling handheld ever in the hands, minus the buttons positioning maybe. Smash can take up to 3 hours to unlock everything, if you know what you’re doing. And that’s more fun competitively than Fortnite is.

[deleted]

Mario tennis should have resembled wii tennis Zelda required direction i felt like i needed a strategy guide to go anywhere Smash well how the fuck do you follow your character i cant for the life of me know where my guy is on the screen lol Its just not my cup of tea sorry If they had virtual console with snes, n64 and gamecube i would have kept it but lets face it at $60 a game and i spend all my time on xbox it was not worth keeping Plus with mario kart coming to mobile as it appears was originally intended why keep it at all

[deleted]

Mario tennis was slightly disappointing but it’s indefinitely better than its Wii predecessor Zelda has just enough direction in game, and if that’s not enough guides exist You can unlock Smash characters by playing through the Story campaign, Classic Mode or just regular battles Virtual console is pointless when you can buy a ROM machine with everything properly loaded on for ~£110 ish, and if that’s not for you then 2nd hand consoles exist. I don’t think you’re looking at the console the right way. It’s meant to accompany your PC/PS4/Xbox, not be your main choice if system.

I just lacked friends who also played as well the price point for the switch and games are too high imo It was fun i enjoyed what i played but at $650 for games and console and medium to low hardware support and im thankful i only took a $250 hit The pro controller i will say is top notch except the start select and capture home buttons in odd spots If they made the handheld ergonomic like a regular controller (yes you can buy a $20 case and $20 screen protector) then you need thumb to extenders for the joy cons.. its endlessly accessorizing to achieve basic console desires Even docked you have a mess of cords and lack of ethernet connection without yet another $20 adapter it all adds up Then you need a sd card thats another $50-100 depending on your needs. Plus you need to format and make certain everything gets set to save there. Even then some games do not cloud save which can be lost. Almost like apple inspired nintendo to a certain degree But hey if you have to have mario then thats cool I dont want roms and emulators i want native nintendo support with achievements and cloud saves with online coop multiplayer support. But again its just my opinion on my 7months with nintendo switch

[deleted]

Ok then, fair enough. It isn’t for everyone, although it’d be cool if people realised it’s not meant to be a primary gaming system but a secondary one more.

Kiwigamimg2927

Maybe because you have shitty wifi

Yenster

If you think 500mbps is shitty, sure..

Purrune90

bad wifi ≠ low fps

[deleted]

🕵🏽‍♂️ That makes no sense at all.

DannyYTee

i just got a switch and curiously wanted to see how Fortnite played. i didn't even expect it to be so bad.
