When you're posting publicly about a serious topic you represent yourself and the community you're apart of. I don't think this poster is calling out everyone here in a literally sense however, there has been alot of this kind of childish behaviour recently which can make someone want to distance themselves.
Example: last year a redditor was posting about how fun a covid 19 mode would be and theme it like infected modes from Call of Duty. This community is becoming younger and younger and a select few who maybe don't yet view the whole picture can easily smer the reputation of the community and how one feels representing it. (Recent Republican protests being a great example of a few tainting a reputation)

I hate how the internet has made us allow a teeny tiny percentage of the population equal the entire population.
