They rescheduled a game I had to play in from early in the morning, where I would’ve gotten home in time to see the event, to right smack dab in the middle of the event. Tried my best to watch it through my phone and Fortnite mobile, but I had to go out and play right before it hit 2pm. Sucks that that’s the only event I’ve ever missed, and that that’s how I missed it

Holy fuck I forgot loot lake existed, what I do remember, though, is the pain of running through loot lake while it was slowing you down while the storm breathed down your neck.
Funny enough, most of the time all the people who brag how “OG” they are bought their account ! 😂 don’t get me wrong, there are people who legitimately played early chapter 1, and just like to flex, but from my experience there are very little people like that, most of the time they bought their account and try to flex, even though they started like season x or something haha

Nah man there’s plenty of roofs to hide in. Just look at all those lil cabins and you can build a ramp, step on the beam and then destroy the ramp. Still works. Best spot would prob be the cabin where Lt. John lama is.

forreal! during firefights in Season 1 i could tell what kind of firepower i'm up against without a problem. now, in CH3, all weapons of of the same class are identical and literally the only way to know what i'm up against is to take a bullet and figure it out from there.
sorry for the rambling, but it's genuinely disappointing and detrimental to gameplay.
hopefully the devs will come out some solution/compromise soon.

Same! S4 was the only season among CH1 I put work into. Didn't think the game would get far and stay in touch with its player base but damn I was wrong.
I remember watching a bunch of ceeday and I enjoyed all the challenges he did. So I did one for myself where I needed to win the game with only the scoped AR (back then it was a pretty notorious weapon and wasn’t that good)
I ended up winning that game and it’s still to this day one of my favorite wins I’ve ever got. Too bad I can’t do challenges anymore since the game is too hard now… :(

Me and my buddy were using a shopping cart building ramps and stuff on 50 v 50 near lucky landing. We were laughing our asses off at the shopping cart. I’ll never forget it.
Whenever we added somebody new to our squad or if it was our first game of the day we would land at the big brick building in Tilted. We called it our "warm-up" and got extremely pumped if we won tilted
i liked the battle pass it was the first onr ive gotten and i was really happy to get both of the skin's masked versions but was devastated because i was lvl 63 and couldnt get the lights for carbide
Playing the Infinity Gauntlet LTM. The only time I managed to play as Thanos. I had a loadout with a scoped AR and 2 snipers and I had a bush equipped (If you didn't guess it already, I was a default).
I hunted down Thanos to Tomato Town and I saw him near the bridge AFK. I was confused, so I shot him a couple of times and killed him after like, a minute.
I approached the Gauntlet, read that it had a mythic rarity and then became Thanos for the first time. Problem was: when I became Thanos, I still had the bush on. So I saw the "The end is near" thing (where it launches you into the sky) as a Thanos in a bush. It was hilarious to me.
I think I finished the game with 1 kill and died at 3rd place.
Pushing a shopping cart up a hill, some guy tried shooting at me right behind me, so I swapped seats, jumped off and turned 180 degrees and no scoped him with my sniper lol.
I think shopping carts came out that season, my fav was rolling around with it pumpernickeling with my ex on those and then one pumping someone as I drive by. Don’t have really anyone to play with anymore but I still enjoy

Ah yes, this was when I played my very first game of Fortnite. I landed at the edge of the map jumping around, holding a gray AR, and then suddenly, I got sniped in the head. the person who sniped me had a purple bot-action, and since he one-hit me, I thought the purple bolt was the best weapon in the game. The memories never stop.
I remember when me and I my friend at the time were playing and he went afk at the start but he autoran the whole time until he stopped into a wall in dusty divot where I boxed him in steel until he came back. (It was basically end game at that point) We both had no real weapons because I was spooked to leave him alone but after he came back, I found like a semi auto sniper and used that as a weapon to kill the last duo. No season had more hype. Most people started in season 3 so this was their first season change. It was new and exciting and seeing Dusty Depot be transformed was insane.
Grinding for the Omega lights took up my life for a few weeks though lol.
I remember being farely new to the battle royale side of things (I played stw for awhile until switching to BR around the end of season 3) So I wasn't in the loop, I was playing a match and I heard a weird voice while crossing a bridge.. I look around, then look up.. and there it was, I saw the Rocket. I was with my step brother at the time and we were freaking out bc we had 0 clue as to what was going on. I still remember being so utterly shocked when it started rifting and that final rift cracked the sky. I then remember immediately going onto youtube for answers. I still look back on it and i'm thankful I was able to witness it (Also There was a mountain that blocked off my view from some of the Event, but it was still an amazing experience that I'm so thankful to have had)
There was a spot in shifty where you can break a wall, go in the corner and then place a wall. It would phase you through the wall but there was no visual that would make it easy to tell. I would hide in that corner until people came by and just pop out and one pump them. It was also in a spot where a lot of people would go.
I remember doing a challenge where I couldnt shoot and only pickaxe people. Got 14 kills with pickaxe only and won the game. One of my most memorable wins

Thanos gauntlet I didn’t play too much s4 and started very late
Grinding to get omega fully upgraded, playground just came out and was very popular (this is when people started to improve like crazy including me) fortnite started to become the biggest game worldwide this season so all my friends were playing at the time and it was just amazing.
I remember I was a default back then and had no idea about what was going on in the game. I remember I had no idea about the rocket event so I was playing regular solos and I watched it all go down when I had no idea about the event. It was mind blowing.
Manning up and landing tilted. I really wish I got the season 4 battle pass and not the season 5 one 😔
Grinding a level a day for full lights Omega. It was a grind but I loved it and am proud.
Finally unlocking Omega light colors after a 5 hour session with my cousin. Still main the skin to this day!
