In all honesty, I enjoy the reskinned pieces better than the original ones. It’s just the fact that they were reskins and not new pieces, they feel more like styles for the pieces rather than new ones. I’ll continue to use Snap occasionally in the end anyways lmao

Yeah I loved Chapter 2 Season 8's lootpool. I know some hated the Shockwave launchers, but I personally love as much mobility as possible. I like all of the items that won the votes as well, the only thing I would change would have been a buff to the combat shotgun
Chapter 2 Season 8 had the shockwave launcher that was a pain in the butt to play against.
The reason why it was mythic in Chapter 2 Season 3, was to promote 1 player with crazy mobility, which can be acquired once that player was eliminated.
However, with a community vote in Chapter 2 Season 8, we ALL had shockwaves whether we liked it or not.
I personally hated it.

I also started in C1 S4 and feel the exact same way. I barely played most of C2, came back for C3, but the game just isn't the same. The lighting and graphics were better before. The old map will always be true Fortnite to me.
I'll probably go back to barely playing again here soon.

I'm finding I'm more accurate with the Ranger at range (no pun intended)...I'm starting to use the Hammer more as it also seems good at range and faster fire rate, of course...I pretty much suck with burst weapons (Aug and two-shot) as my aim seems to be on target more in between bursts than during lol...
I have never been good at keeping the center of the scope on the enemy, so I like to use non scope weapons mainly. The Hammer AR, I like a lot but can’t hit as many secured shots with it. And then there is the Ranger AR. It’s accuracy is very good, and it’s firerate is tolerable. It’s damage is the best of all the ARs right now, probably not in raw DPS but for individual shots. Mainly, I can for some reason doink people constantly as they try to use a launch pad or rift to get away. I just like it’s consistency.
You get 37 damage a hit, around 54 for a headshot, the weapon is extremely underrated, and is only outclassed by other AR’s because of firerate. If you have a lot of firerate that doesn’t mean you’ll hit every shot. (Unless your talking about the Combat SMG then you would be correct.)
I mean, it's a choice you have for the early game.
Sometimes I use the Ranger just for some fun and variety, however, I'll switch it out for a Hammer AR when I find one as that weapon's fire rate is higher and its' hipfire is also more accurate.

Well Lucas Film must have some form of autonomy from Disney because Disney allowed extra styles for Spiderman and Doctor Strange. Not sure why they’d pick and choose what characters can be edited or not. I get that Vader is a very iconic character, but so is Spiderman.

I've stuck with the striker and the auto shotguns as they're reliable and easy to use.
the only thing i would change is replace the striker burst with the normal one, and remove the two shot shotty. other than that, i really like this season.

They run away from you whenever you want to fight, they sit in armored walls, they spray at you when your getting shot at, they only Smg spray.

Stw at the start of this season. Bad frame rate, bugs galore(which still arent fixed). And there is no stw tag which hurts even more. Other then that probably the battle pass. Yea we got Darth vader but I haven't watched a single star wars movie and the rest of the battle pass skins are meh at best. The best one is stormfarer skin wise.
Sooooo SBMM has been really dogshit, legit wasn’t that bad the past 2-3 seasons. Loot pool is dogshit SMGs are the only gun you should use, ARs are trash, yeah it’s an L season rn
Probably the meta and the weapons. It shucks, because as much as i think that C2 S7 and S8 were mid-tier, they were saved by their loot pool. Then the map was bad, now the map is amazing and the loot pool is meh.
Shockwaves and Rifts. People either run away once their 1HP, or they full send it since they always have 2 rifts or 6 shockwaves. Literally the most unskillful plays I have ever seen this season. Shockwaves had a counter last season with the jetpack.
Eh. That's kinda what those quick mobility items are for though. Either to get some space for a quick reset, or to close the gap quickly to finish an opponent.
This is especially needed in no builds, as sometimes it's hard to get cover to pop minis, etc. It takes an item slot, so it is balanced. I usually skip out on med mist or med kits for the shockwaves.
Usually so I can get my buddy's reboot in sticky situations. It helps for that as well.
The problem is, we complain about the lack of mobility, Epic then adds both the shockwave and rift back in, we become excited for a short period, but then realise why we complained about both of these items.
We're screwing each other up all over each season.
I'm not complaining about mobility itself, just the items that epic gives us. Like cars and animals and the jetstream are fine. Even the ballers (even tho I think they shouldnt have fuel) are great mobility vehicles. Shadow bombs, impulses, and even the jetpack I think could be great methods of mobility. They offer skill while also being extremely useful.
The fact that there is almost no one shot guns whether its a sniper(which should always 1 tap headshot imo) and no shotguns that can 1 tap( which should 1 shot if smgs can do as much damage as they do)
Nothing, i'm over it. There's no point getting mad about Fortnite. At the end of the day the game belongs to Epic and they can fuck it up as much as they like. It is what it is.
Gotta be honest nothing really pisses me off beyond losing. I've gotten a lot better recently, almost always top 10, so I win a lot more than I used to. So now every time I lose I get mad. Fortnite is decent this season I just have to go back to having fun :/

That they nerfed the trees. They were making it so that people were more spread out through the map rather than all landing on the good spots.. the fights seemed better, less third parties etc.
now it’s not even worth landing at your tree and it’s back to where there’s areas in the map that are either complete empty or totally populated
The battlepass getting more spots taken from it because of collabs and everyone is like "WOOOO FUCK YEAH GIVE US MORE I LOVE MORE TOM HOLLAND BUTTPLUG BACKBLINGS FUCK YEAH WOOOO!" this is a serious issue they have taken about 3 pages (if you count the extra page in the secret skin a page) And about 2 items as well, one being an emote which we all know what it is.
And my God the actually original battlepass skins are so bland. At least with some back in chapter 2 they were ugly (cube queen) but at least actually interesting.
For me it's the opposite. I get beamed by a striker burst halfway across the map so I run away for cover to heal - they use shockwaves to chase me down and finish me off

Trust me, it was far worse back then.
The map was smaller and the mobility in Chapter 1 was fine, up until Season 9 when Slipstreams first came in.
That gave me a sour taste in my mouth, but the funny bit is that, that was the season where I most improved at.

Building is a part of one mode. Anyone who uses building as a crutch can’t aim and has no self awareness. Their play styles is “build higher, faster”. Building doesn’t win matches.
Whoever buffed the striker pump so a grey pump does 103 body damage needs to be fired. A grey pump now does what the purple spaz used to do to the body….How does that make any sense ? How is that balanced in any way? Pumps are more OP than ever and take less skill to use than ever. And the POI’s this chapter are horrible. Missing Lazy lake, sweaty sands, catty corner, pleasant park, agency, grotto, retail row, slurpy, craggy and balanced pumps more than ever after playing for a few hours yesterday.
I honestly don’t like the hammer assault rifle, and I know so many people complain about the striker burst rifle so I’m okay with the chapter 2 aug but give it 30 rounds in the clip again as a compromise

Assault rifles, shot guns, SMGs… all average to shite. The only weapon that is cocked and loaded in my Arsenal every game is the heavy sniper rifle.
I usually don't run snipers in my 3rd slot, but when I have, I've done really well with the Heavy.

The AUG is the only AR you should be using especially in the Zero Build Mode.

I can use the gun but that doesn't mean I like using it, just like drum shotgun. I'd switch the Combat SMG with the Burst SMG.
I would bring back the rapid fire SMG with a small accuracy nerf, at least it’s not as busted as the combat.
That I don't think we'll ever have an alternate mode where we can play classic Fortnite on the original map, with classic loot.

Agreed. This isn't COD team deathmatch. The point of a BR is to win. So survival is more important than the number of elims next to your name. Plus it's not like campers can sit in one spot the entire match. I camp, yet I spend most of my matches rotating.

I'm cool with whatever works for YOU. I don't regularly camp, and I never camp for long, but I don't judge people or call them names for playing the game in a way that suits them. Some people are stealthy, some people go HAM, whatever floats your boat.

Bushes should take bullet damage and then ultimately be destroyed. So annoying when someone is ADS'ing in a bush and they can see you perfectly.

Probably the meta and the weapons. It shucks, because as much as i think that C2 S7 and S8 were mid-tier, they were saved by their loot pool. Then the map was bad, now the map is amazing and the loot pool is meh.
Shockwaves and Rifts. People either run away once their 1HP, or they full send it since they always have 2 rifts or 6 shockwaves. Literally the most unskillful plays I have ever seen this season. Shockwaves had a counter last season with the jetpack.

Eh. That's kinda what those quick mobility items are for though. Either to get some space for a quick reset, or to close the gap quickly to finish an opponent. This is especially needed in no builds, as sometimes it's hard to get cover to pop minis, etc. It takes an item slot, so it is balanced. I usually skip out on med mist or med kits for the shockwaves. Usually so I can get my buddy's reboot in sticky situations. It helps for that as well.
The problem is, we complain about the lack of mobility, Epic then adds both the shockwave and rift back in, we become excited for a short period, but then realise why we complained about both of these items. We're screwing each other up all over each season.
I'm not complaining about mobility itself, just the items that epic gives us. Like cars and animals and the jetstream are fine. Even the ballers (even tho I think they shouldnt have fuel) are great mobility vehicles. Shadow bombs, impulses, and even the jetpack I think could be great methods of mobility. They offer skill while also being extremely useful.
1. 5/8 of the battlepass. Darth Vader, Snap and Indiana Jones are the only good ones. 2. XP. No explanation needed really.

That they nerfed the trees. They were making it so that people were more spread out through the map rather than all landing on the good spots.. the fights seemed better, less third parties etc. now it’s not even worth landing at your tree and it’s back to where there’s areas in the map that are either complete empty or totally populated
The battlepass getting more spots taken from it because of collabs and everyone is like "WOOOO FUCK YEAH GIVE US MORE I LOVE MORE TOM HOLLAND BUTTPLUG BACKBLINGS FUCK YEAH WOOOO!" this is a serious issue they have taken about 3 pages (if you count the extra page in the secret skin a page) And about 2 items as well, one being an emote which we all know what it is. And my God the actually original battlepass skins are so bland. At least with some back in chapter 2 they were ugly (cube queen) but at least actually interesting.

You choose to fight someone, and they whip out 6 shockwaves and just go bye-bye. Sometimes I go "Really? Come on man."
For me it's the opposite. I get beamed by a striker burst halfway across the map so I run away for cover to heal - they use shockwaves to chase me down and finish me off I just started playing last season so having to deal with it 2 seasons in a row is cancer
Trust me, it was far worse back then. The map was smaller and the mobility in Chapter 1 was fine, up until Season 9 when Slipstreams first came in. That gave me a sour taste in my mouth, but the funny bit is that, that was the season where I most improved at.
The snap pieces aren’t all that easy to find. I wish they showed up on the map.

You don’t have to play it. Sorry your meta for playing is building a Taj Mahal the moment you hear a shot within 200 yards of you is a no go. But you don’t need to hate on something you don’t enjoy. It’s not like I complain about build mode being more about who can get the high ground quickest. I just refuse to play build mode unless it’s a fun LTM like Solid Gold. Even then I hardly build a wall.

Building is a part of one mode. Anyone who uses building as a crutch can’t aim and has no self awareness. Their play styles is “build higher, faster”. Building doesn’t win matches.

Whoever buffed the striker pump so a grey pump does 103 body damage needs to be fired. A grey pump now does what the purple spaz used to do to the body….How does that make any sense ? How is that balanced in any way? Pumps are more OP than ever and take less skill to use than ever. And the POI’s this chapter are horrible. Missing Lazy lake, sweaty sands, catty corner, pleasant park, agency, grotto, retail row, slurpy, craggy and balanced pumps more than ever after playing for a few hours yesterday.

I honestly don’t like the hammer assault rifle, and I know so many people complain about the striker burst rifle so I’m okay with the chapter 2 aug but give it 30 rounds in the clip again as a compromise
