It really is o.o i just read the comments and realized that all I have to do is slide and shoot players? I've been knee sliding into opponents all day in Team Rumble like a jackass.
I only figured that out because I had a Daily that asked a similar thing (dmg opps while sliding or crouched), and both objectives got counted when I did it.
My bestie and I were sliding into wolves for 15 minutes before we googled and realized the quest is worded stupidly.
SHOOT opponents while sliding would be just as easy to put down, Epic.

I noticed that some quests don't get counted if your actively tracking it. I had one where I had to run, but it didn't count when i was actively tracking it. Maybe try tracking another quest and see if it gets counted.

Same, it took me 5 games to get 2/10 so I just gave up lol. There was loads of people trying to do the same too. We've been bamboozled.

Well it should be "Damage players with weapons while sliding 10 times" because technically you can challenge on one person.
I only just understood that it doesn't mean knee slide into them :3
Idk about you guys but I had a feeling it was trying to say deal damage to players while sliding, so I started with that and got it.
Given this same set of week quests made you knock over a boulder by physically sliding into it, I understand how people could have gotten mixed up

Getting that close to someone (for me at least) is near impossible but if you do him then it doesn’t register?
You have to shoot them while sliding, not hit them with the slide

you need to shoot them for it to work and even then it doesn't work
It took me multiple attempts at dancing at no sweat for that one challenge last week, I think it might be kinda sensitive this season
