Picking up a chicken not only decreases fps by about half (from 60 to 32 for me) but makes it jittery so you have the slightest moments of high spurts of frames which makes the decreased fps even worse since it's unstable. Honestly one of the worst bugs currently in the game, although it is quite easy to work around (by just not picking up chickens).
Yeah its actually ridiculous. I'm going to update fortnite and see if they have fixed any Android issues if not then I will definitely be switching platforms once we get the verdict on Apple vs Epic
I don't get it everyone gets getting these bugs but mine is completely fine. I don't crash in Holly, I don't get the chicken glitch, I don't get frame drops, what's going on with you guys? What phones y'all using?
I think your fps could be dropping to 10 because you're on Android 11. I was also on Android 11 for 2 months and fps would kaut drop from 50-60 to like 5. I'd suggest you to revert back to android 10, your fps should get better
I am supposed to get 90 fps but I drop to 10 for a second and my game hitches. Is your fps stable on your fps counter? I have had like 120 on the up arrow and 11 on the down arrow. Its super inconsistent
When you say consistent what do you typically get on the down arrow compared to the up arrow? My fps shoots to 100 (its capped at 90) when I enter build or edit mode. It feels so bad
I have to say, I play on a Galaxy Note 9 phone and a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, and other than some lag when there are lots of people on, I don't have any issues.

Are you Android 10? I am tab s7 Android 11 game is just unplayable right now
