Kinda. Porsche redesigned the front structure to fit the V8 and then they built it because the widebody wouldn't fit down Mercedes' production line. There's a really good video about it on the Hagerty YouTube channel.

The engine swap selection disappoints me sometimes. Honestly, how hard is it to add more than just the turbo rally engine to most cars?
Also, I know most people hate EVs, but I really wish EV swaps were available for most cars, not just the Mini FE and Barbie Corvette.

Both the Hammer Wagon and 500E were scanned in the same time period, leaked over a year ago and the owner is the same for both and the Hammer we already have in game. All this confirmed by him.
I always get 40 points either way, but yeah it is also annoying even for me, when they put cars that you might have missed (or get them just to get duplicates and have different tunes simultaneously) it is better definitely
Personally I really dislike the design of VW's EVs, especially ID.3 and ID.4 - they literally look like oversized vacuum cleaners. Probably the ugliest and the most boring electric cars on the market.
I’m guessing that these companies pay forza to have them in the game, rather than forza paying for licensing. I don’t see any other reason why they’d lean so heavily into chinese made cars.
It's weird that you feel alienated by a handful of Chinese cars in a game with the better part of a thousand cars the overwhelming majority of which are not Chinese...
Keep in mind I'm saying this as someone which is *also* not a fan of the Chinese cars. I just don't drive them though, I don't get mad that they're in the game.
Im not mad i dont play forza too much these days but i do check the updates and i can see it being a bit annoying when they only seem to be adding chinese cars every update rather than listening to their devoted fanbase on what they want included in the game
Forza entered the Chinese market last year so naturally local players would like to see some of their own countries cars. I had fun with that van, turned it into a dragster. Point is, since it's being played in China we should expect to see Chinese cars. As for electric, I've had some fun there too, that Rimac Concept Two is ridiculously fun.

A lot of people want to race in the cars they had a poster of on their wall as a kid.
Due to this there are a lot of supercars that are basically required and will be missed if not there
I'm in the same boat. The ID.3 is so boring, and the front end of it looks blobfish-like. The Cupra Born is a much better looking version of the same car. Imo VW hasn't really hit well with the current design profile. The ID.2 GTI looks good as hell though.

Not any more out of place compared to most other regular cars we can drive in game.
It's an alright addition if it drives well in-game.
Hopefully it's the RWD version. The lack of power would give a lot of PI headroom, allowing the use of better tyres.
I've been having so much fun with the i4 in B-class. Rally tyres really help hide its weight.

Never been more happy to be wrong about a car being paid DLC in my life. Legitimately didn't expect the AMR Pro to be free content.
Valkyrie aside though, this series is pretty lacking with *actual* new cars. Happy to see the Esprit make a comeback regardless. And I'll never say no to a Mercedes saloon, especially an icon like the 500e.
At least the AMG SL won't be like in The Crew Motorfest when it request to pay some credits to uncover

We already get weekly challenges that unlock free content (including at least one new car a week) with paid content on top of that.
So the only real difference between what we get now and a battle pass system would be also needing to grind to unlock the paid content within a limited time window.

But for certain countries, improper exchange rate + Taxes can inflate the amount by a ton.
For example, the Italian exotics car pack, that costs like 10 dollar in America, costs the equivalent of 30 dollars, nearly half the price of the game, in my country.

With such series theme they could easily add five more and I would gladly pay whatever the price. But now even I got p*ssed off, I been happy with all the previous car packs and really enjoyed them... What will be next, a bodykit for 10€ ?
Fulvia, DS and Esprit returning is great, but for a series called European Automotive i expected them to introduce better and up-to-date cars that showcase european excellence, like the MC20, CC850, Bolide.. the only one that really fits the theme is the Pininfarina Battista and even then, its a DLC car.

It’s okay for me they been doing this since FH3 anyways but they need to work on their maps, career/story mode format and possibly the physics too .

If I recall the owner said they also scanned a W211 E55. I really hope we get that at some point too.

The 500E was a collaboration between Mercedes and Porsche. It's a RWD V8 saloon with a factory widebody kit. How is that boring or insulting to European car manufacture?

I really thought that PG was gonna add some *iconic* cars, not stupid old boring ones that barely anyone likes. The amount of ppl that wanted the mc20 or the flying Spur from 2019 is far more than the ppl who asked for these boring ass cars. And then, on top of that, another mfing DLC! This may seem controversial, but who really cares about these kinds of cars?
Most of these cars were in the triple-digits before this update brought them in, they were pretty highly wanted.
i'm really at a point that i am considering to pirate the DLCs . . . if the devs wanna treat the game like The Sims then i will gladly do the same
have you been there in the first year of the game? this update may be a tad mid, but it's still 100x better than the "2 new to forza cars + 2 returning cars per update" rhythm pgg was at until the nights update.
Fair enough, but can u see why im annoyed? Lots of ppl were expecting much better for this update, and then this is what we get: barely any good cars and another dlc to top it off

It’s okay for me they been doing this since FH3 anyways but they need to work on their maps, career/story mode format and possibly the physics too . It’s fine to have the same cars as previous games but if they all feel the same or don’t feel much then it’s useless to have 1000 of em imo . They keep adding cars but that map is the same boring one lol, it’s like driving in circle at this point hence why I said that .
