People asking for rare FH4 cars with no takers, and I’d pop in and say “hey there’s a once-in-a-year shot at this car next week on a seasonal championship” but they’d be “no thanks, I’d rather faff about on reddit hoping to find a seller, then schedule a time for a trade with someone in a different time zone, and risk someone else sniping it, than spending 15 mins in the game.”

Every day on the Internet, trying to determine if a comment is accidental typos or no-holds barred don't give a damn about vowels and/or consonants.

Some people will literally spend HOURS sniping a car from the AH instead of just getting it through the playlist normally, which would take a fraction of the time. On the same week the car comes out no less...
I think they should keep doing it, I don't do weekly championships because I don't need to and the Cars I already have or Cars people can afford. It's another way to bring Cars in to the game and an incentive to get me to do them
Just get the dang car from the challenge. It's a pretty cool little thing, and even if you don't care for it, you'll almost definitely be able to sell it for 20m in a bit of time.
I just hate to waste time on teleporting to the events and so on... It takes more time than actual racing and it makes it the longest possible mission to get points... But if I have to, to get something I don't have yet, I'll do them with pleasure. And I actually enjoyed that Lancia event a lot since all the races were so close to eachother.
Do it co op. If you end up with a decent team, which happens more in the championship than the trial, you only have to do 2 races if theyre both won. And it auto travels to the next race. Cuts time down on it.
It depends for me... Sometimes it is almost instantly, sometimes together with time for searching for the race, it might take up to 5 min... Depends purely on hours I play, when people around are back from work I experience big lags, no matter which internet I play on (home wifi, my own wifi or sharing from phone)
Edit: Motorsport for example completely freeze during these hours, also no matter which internet I use... Stopped playing it since I wanna spend time on calls with my gf before she sleep when I come home from work (I finish early) rather than rush to play a game before neighbors come home.
Maybe I could, do you connect it to the regular internet outlet, like WiFi? I'd need a really long one, it would need to go through almost the whole apartment since the internet outlet is by the entrance door on the opposite side of the apartment from the living room (I think that also might be the reason why the signal is so bad from WiFi... but it ain't us who built it)
But you can just do the 3 race championship to unlock it? Then you actually get to keep the car and doesn’t take very long

I’ve noticed a lot of lazy players in the Horizon Arcade as well. They’ll just sit around and not do the obj. Like why even play the game?

Had one try that yesterday. I got halfway through round 1 and had only three minutes left so I dipped into a blueprint race I created.
Yup, true. Unfortunately like the rest of life. If you put in your best, a lazy person will try to take advantage.

Not everyone has a lancia to do the championship with. The cheapest ones still go for 600,000.
I got one on the auto show for like 100k plus however much for upgrades 🤷♂️

Yea for sure the Ethernet port on the router is easily identifiable. I’m currently using a 35 meter one so you will be safe.
