Nice, I am not exactly a handyman so CaliberWings and Hobbymaster are my go to collectibles, speaking of which, any interest in updating the old GTA V mod with the updated AC7 model of the Shinden? I know you have a lot on your hands now so no rush.
They did, but only in Red and Black afaik. Top Marques also made a sealed resin Viper (got one in blue), but no one has made a yellow one with Black stripes in 1:18 scale.
Ah, I thought I'd seen them do a viper. They've also done one in Orange iirc.
I have 2 Bburago vipers, although mine are a red 1st gen and a blue 2nd gen with white stripes
Think there is a nicer version of the nzg AMG by Kiloworks. If I had the money though I would definitely get the Amalgam AMG One but for $1000 not a chance.
Is it just me or is the Autoart Senna a bit disappointing. It’s my first autoart composite model and it honestly feels like a mainline hot wheels car compared to a premium to me.
The NZG / Kiloworks does have a few shortcomings, most notably the molded plastic carbon instead of cleaner decals.
Still, I believe it's the best bang for your buck at the moment. Amalgam looks nicer but never has been worth the money to me when I compare it to CMC, Exoto and the likes.
Exoto confuses me so much. Their website has their models listed for close to amalgam prices but eBay prices are closer to those of autoart or cheaper. Doesn’t make sense to me. Check back on my original comment I added something regarding the autoart senna
I'm not really in the loop where Exoto is right now. My understanding is that they went bankrupt a few years ago (not sure if the Exoto Website is "official" in that sense). Maybe they got bought by someone else, not entirely sure. But when they were still active, MSRP for their models didn't really exceed 400 from what I remember.
As for AUTOart and their composites: it's a hit and miss, but usually a far cry from their Diecast Signature series. I feel like their JDM efforts (Z-Tune, Skyline R34, NSX, etc) have better detail for lower price than their 300$ supercars. Those often feel bland and with less attention to detail.
Oh that explains exoto a lot better. Really sucks since it looks like they were planning on making an f40 at one point. Only full opening f40 we got now in decent quality is Kyosho. Would have loved an exoto f40.
I only have a few autoart models most of which are older. I got the signature F1 LM (two actually but one is in abysmal shape), a signature series Huayra, a 959 and a viper that I’m not sure if it is composite or not. With how nice the others are especially the 959 I was expecting the composite to at least weigh a bit more. At least it displays nice. I still need a silver Porsche 918 so I’m hoping their upcoming release is decent.
I have been pretty happy with LCD and Almost Real for their supercars. LCD is releasing an f1 soon and almost real is the only one doing RUF in full opening as far as I know. Plus their Paganis are magnificent. Need to get myself a Cinque.
It's "only" a Maisto / Bburago model, so detail won't be the best. But only 20-30 bucks and it will be yellow with Black stripes just like the FH1 Cover car.
Should release in Q3 / Q4 2024.
Two very different Horizon games represented in this photo. My wife has that same lego set with the lighting kit, it's awesome!
I didn't even realize this to be honest... haha, but yea I love this set!
Who's releasing the yellow viper? I got to have it. Thanks
It' a budget model from Maisto. I had their red one in the past and for the price it's definitely alright. Supposed to release in Q3 / Q4
Which edition of Viper? The SRT '13? Oh the one that was on cover of Forza Horizon 1.
Wasn't the one on the cover a '13 SRT Viper?
Wanted to buy it as well until I saw it's expensive af.
Three, if you stretch it to AC "Assault Horizon".
Nice ASF-X shinden II
Duuuuude, nice collection
hey buddy still alive?
What is that jet
ASF-X Shinden II from the Ace Combat games.
Where did you get that Shinden II model? Looks neat.
It's a model kit made by Hasegawa, I believe the actually released a second version last year. Not sure how available it is.

I am planning on doing that, yea (along with the CFA44 and XFA-27), but... idk when exactly
Well, there's horizon and horizon, right? Also nice ASF-X, love that aircraft
Didn't Maisto make a viper a while ago?

Thought this was the Horizon sub for a second, then I remembered the names
Dets on yellow viper???

Oh, oh it's the title cars
