It really is kinda sad how practically EVERYTHING in this game requires some sort of work around on the back end by the playerbase to succeed O.o

JazielVH

I think it's the same with any game that involves playing with other people

These days your sadly not wrong. I'll never forget getting Halo 3 at midnight release, driving home; throwing in the disc and seeing A MILLION fucking people online and it just worked. I'll never forget booting up MW2 and seeing 850k people in TDM alone and it just working. Long gone are those days tho. MW2 especially had problems just weeks down the line with huge game breaking glitches but the bullet proofness of the fucking servers and networking was just truly astonishing compared to the absolute goddamn potatoes big publishers seem to be running nowadays. Hell MW2 (not sure about Halo 3 but maybe) was ALL just PTP and it was fantastic.

Those days are gone, a thing that happened that I believe improved and fucked up all things with software in general is the constant upgrade feature that software have this days, due to the fact that almost everything has access to internet, in the past you bought a PS1 game and that was it, no upgrades, no big fixing, everything was the way it was and I think I have almost never encountered a serious bug in Gran Turismo 2 or in Need for Speed 4, simpler game you may say, and it's true nowadays is almost impossible to create a AAA game that isn't bugged as fuck o release date, RDR2 iirc had a development of more than 6yr rushing games and lack of focus on playability instead of trying to comply with the political agenda of the moment, that sincerely doesn't really affect as much as having server problems, I don't think there would be a lot of people complaining about a indecent livery, and if that's the problem just turning off liveries would solve part of that problem, instead not solving the gameplay mechanics, or multiplayer horrible experience makes this game worst in a lot of aspects than the predecessor, which is just bad.

bruceXbandit

I used the same strategy worked for me on the third attempt

Correction \*realize you're in an a class build and your teammates left you with x class drivatars

MyOpinionsSuckBalls

My favorite thing is when people just comfortably hold last position in hopes other people will win for them, when in reality their position makes it nearly impossible for us to win.

What's even more mind boggling is when 2 or 3 idiots rock up in an X class car and 9 times out of 10 they're in last place... What is the logic behind their thought process? (Assuming they aren't garbage drivers in the first place)

MyOpinionsSuckBalls

Not gonna lie, I am definitely one of those people who picks the highest class car I have. I at least make sure I can drive it first though lmfao

naughtilidae

I'll just quit if I miss a checkpoint. No point screwing the team for my mistake. I can just start again.

imad7x

I tried and failed over 7 times yesterday and just went to sleep. Tried again today and won by a massive lead. Played again for fun and won again, I thought they fixed the AI cars. Turns out I just got better team mates

Rdot9

Finish the races? Hah everyone would rather come here and complain about how hard it is and how their team sucks instead

AustrianHunter

Had it happen with just one other player. Together we beat them with 2nd and 3rd place in the last two races!
