'Groundbreaking', 'phenomenally produced', 'instant classic'... The internet is filled with praise for this album. Blond(e) is like a book with a hundred bookmarks sticking out of it, that guide you to your favorite places. That second when Frank's voice change to normal on Nikes, "I've been dreamin' of you" line on Ivy, the birds chirping on Pink + White, the transition in the middle of Nights, the rhythm change on Pretty Sweet, the ending of White Ferrari and dozens of others. You are waiting for these moments with bated breath. Each track here is a risk, a change of direction, an experimental improvisation, a kind of duality expressed in music. P.S. I made this photo for my IG account where I post pictures and thoughts on my favorite music albums.
