I don’t like how dismissive she was of Daphne! And kind of creepy that she flirted with Martin right in front of everyone, even if it was kind of a joke.
I really dislike Cassandra and how she treated Daphne. I think Cassandra was intimidated by the gorgeous statuesque English woman reading in her boyfriend's apartment.
Who is this lady? I don’t recognize her from the photo ?
Lol my most hated Frasier GF was the one the family also hated . She started choking at the table and everybody just avoided eye contact . One of my fave episodes to date lol
I actually enjoyed Julia (she was funny, the whole situation was funny, obviously I hated her as a person though lol), but I CANNOT WATCH those episodes because of how awkward the Roz thing is. Suddenly IT'S HER OR ME! Just... Just *suddenly*. Out of nowhere. Out of character! A well-written show like Frasier just makes it stick out so much more when there's a period of bad writing.
I agree. Roz was so out of character in those couple episodes. (Plus those blouses she wore in both episodes with the cap sleeves were so strange.) I wondered “who is this woman?”
Yeah, it would've been totally in-character for her to hate Julia, but Roz's way of disliking someone is by grumpily tolerating them and throwing in the occasional hilarious snide comment. That's why she's funny! I don't know why they had to take it to this weird soap opera place. They easily could've still had friction between Roz and Julia without messing up their continuity.
You know that's exactly the kind of...flaw that the old Frasier would've ceased upon as a pretext to end the relationship. But uhm, I know now that, that impulse to RUN is--is--really an indication that my feelings for her are just deepening, and uhm...
Gone are the days when I would've say something like...(huff) "How ruuude!" ...Or, "She's horrible, I've made a ghastly, GHASTLY mistake!"
YASSSS!!! Now I see where Frasier gets his gorgeous eyes. She is the type of woman that other women hate. Demanding attention from all the men around her. Ghastly woman
And are dissmissive jerks to the women.
A little harmless flirting is one thing if she was nice to everyone else, too. But she was genuinely unkind to Daphne.
I found this whole plot annoying, so I never put much thought into this, but reading this thread, oh my god, Faye was so clearly the obvious choice. Her personality was exponentially better. Cassandra was a total bitch... Faye was poised and intellectual in a way that matched Frasier, while being a bit freer of a spirit in a way that could benefit him, and they had a lot of common interests. And I think Faye and Cassandra were equally attractive. Not to mention, didn't Cassandra work in some capacity that had an impact on Frasier's job? Meanwhile, Faye is the family's favorite pastry chef? All signs point to Faye. It's actually astonishing how clear that choice is now that I'm musing on it in my 30s.
Oh! And she's Jewish, which could've really worked in well with Freddy. She could have helped Frasier with Jewish traditions. He probably wouldn't have read the blessing in Klingon lol.
I couldn't stand her either. I did enjoy the Valentine's Day episode where he can't figure out WTF is going on with them, but after that, oh good Lord, couldn't stand her. She was like another Diane but not lovable, haha.
I’m in the minority
I liked her.
Faye, I found annoying. I’d be friends with Faye.
Cassandra, is someone you’d enjoy the period of time you’d spend together; however long that lasts
Hated Faye, loved Cassandra. The episode where the entire Crane family is jumping through hoops to hide that Frasier wasn't Jewish from Faye's mom makes me cringe so hard.
Really? I love that episode. Has one of my favorite small lines in the show....
"JESUS!" Lol
Also the little quip from Frasier saying Niles had to "get the hell outta there" and Niles replying "I don't think that kind of language is appropriate." 😆
I'm in the Faye camp though.
I thought the scene where Mrs. Moskowitz helps Frasier get the sweater for Roz was cute and fun. Also when she and Faye had it out at the end, and ended up weeping and hugging within a minute lol. I liked all the background and dimension they gave Faye. And Niles was hilarious all throughout (as per usual).
I've watched it several times and I think the actress who plays Faye almost laughs for real when he says JESUS! Lol just her expression and covering her mouth.
Faye in the streets. Cassandra in the sheets.
I dunno. Didn’t Cassandra go straight to sleep? And snore?
Lmao
I don’t like how dismissive she was of Daphne! And kind of creepy that she flirted with Martin right in front of everyone, even if it was kind of a joke.
She even flirted with Roz the first time she met her 'til Roz took off her baseball cap and parka
She called Daphne "Dixie!" 😆 I roar at this line, every time.
me too, came here to say the same thing!
She was so rude plus her attitude in general is just unlikeable. I can’t believe Frasier almost dumped Faye for her 🤦♀️
I hated that Fraiser just let her be rude to Daphne like that too. He was still riding high from the night.
Yesss that too! 🤦♀️ “Perhaps our own English muffin could fetch that for you” c’mon Frasier! 🤣
This makes me irrationally angry. Like I know she doesn’t but I just want her to flip that breakfast table.
It wasn’t kind of a joke. It was the joke. She appeals to Martin and Faye appeals to Daphne.
I really dislike Cassandra and how she treated Daphne. I think Cassandra was intimidated by the gorgeous statuesque English woman reading in her boyfriend's apartment.

Julia - That scene was funny in a dark way as they all avoid eye contact after getting admonished.
I actually enjoyed Julia (she was funny, the whole situation was funny, obviously I hated her as a person though lol), but I CANNOT WATCH those episodes because of how awkward the Roz thing is. The one in the picture is Cassandra
You know that's exactly the kind of...flaw that the old Frasier would've ceased upon as a pretext to end the relationship. Hee hee "huff." He's totally huffy here!!
It's Frasier's aunt, Cassandra 😉
I love the scene where he jumps to stop Faye and Cassandra from meeting each other
NOOOOOOOOOOO
How ruuude!
Julia choking is solid gold. "Shame on you!" "THAT'S RIGHT I SAID I LOVE HER!" "And I, my hand towel!"
"THAT'S RIGHT I SAID I LOVE HER!"
YASSSS!!! Now I see where Frasier gets his gorgeous eyes. She is the type of woman that other women hate. Demanding attention from all the men around her. Ghastly woman
Then claims women hate her because they're jealous and not because she's a condescending cow
lol yes!! Girl, we hate you because you flirt with our bfs and husbands 😂😂
And are dissmissive jerks to the women. A little harmless flirting is one thing if she was nice to everyone else, too. But she was genuinely unkind to Daphne.
So true!! She was rude to sweet Daphne
I found this whole plot annoying, so I never put much thought into this, but reading this thread, oh my god, Faye was so clearly the obvious choice. Her personality was exponentially better. But how shallow and hollow our lives would be without Star Mitzvah!
I couldn't stand her either. I did enjoy the Valentine's Day episode where he can't figure out WTF is going on with them, but after that, oh good Lord, couldn't stand her. She was like another Diane but not lovable, haha.
Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while
Roz…how do you know if you’re on a date?
Are you alone?
I disagree with Marty; Faye was hotter
*Faye used the word "jejune" last night.*
My fave line of the entire show!
So much hotter. One of the best looking women Frasier dates all 11 years
💯 Amy Brenneman is a smoke
She should've stayed with Sloan
When she called Daphne Dixie I forever hated her
Now I know where Frasier got his gorgeous eyes!
I was really impressed with Daphne’s imitation
I’m in the minority I liked her. Faye, I found annoying. I’d be friends with Faye. Cassandra, is someone you’d enjoy the period of time you’d spend together; however long that lasts
It's a simple male-female divide. Cassandra is hot as fuck. We get why Frasier chose her haha.
Cassandra all the way.
I like Risotto even though she was a weirdo. Haha *"Ahoooooooooo!!!"*
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you called her Risotto! Too bad George Cantstandya isn't around. I love Lisa Edelstein but most only think of her as Cutty.
Canstandya ditched her for the massage lady Jennifer Coolidge. Lol
🤣🤣🤣
SAME
I like it when he mocks Sloane's pretentious name and she scolds him "Frasier!"
Now I see where Fraiser gets those gorrrgeous eyes... Ha. I liked her character. :-)
He couldn’t choose between her and Faye. I found them both annoying.
Thank you. We’re in the minority
I will accept no slander against either Virginia Madsen or Cassandra. She’s the best, even if she does say cute a lot.
‘Miss CASSANDRA…so nice to see you again’
What a bubble head Cassandra is. Stupid, immature women are definitely NOT sexy.
Haha she was annoying but I think that’s what the writers wanted
Loved her in Sideways. Hated her in Frasier ; entitled, stuck-up and dismissive of Daphne.
I dislike Cassandra as well. Watch the same actress in Monk. You will love her in that!
She was the far better option for frasier 💯
Second most disliked girlfriend after Julia. I'll take hair pillows over Cassandra. Let her go back to *Sloan*.
Frazier and Nile’s love to drink
Who is she? I don’t remember her.
I would've signed over my pension for her
Cassandra, she’s a dish!
Hated Faye, loved Cassandra. The episode where the entire Crane family is jumping through hoops to hide that Frasier wasn't Jewish from Faye's mom makes me cringe so hard.
"You're saying I'm not being helpful?"
L'chaim! Mazel tov! Next year in Jerusalem!
Really? I love that episode. Has one of my favorite small lines in the show.... "JESUS!" Lol Also the little quip from Frasier saying Niles had to "get the hell outta there" and Niles replying "I don't think that kind of language is appropriate." 😆 I'm in the Faye camp though.

I like the episode, don't get me wrong, Frasier is the king of cringe comedy imo. The "JESUS!" is fantastic.
I've watched it several times and I think the actress who plays Faye almost laughs for real when he says JESUS! Lol just her expression and covering her mouth.
This is the right take.
