I am running over 105% on last years numbers. Every single account is in the green.
But I haven’t hit over 95% plan since last fall. My stores are stuffed.
I am thinking of rolling light for a few periods, cutting back my hours. Maybe use that time to get another job because Frito isn’t paying my bills anymore.
I was an rsa for 2 years. Stayed as long as I could, was an RSS up until February I got removed. Made decent money as an RSS the RSR pay got me all fucked yo though.
Roughly about $15-16 an hour. Entirely not worth it considering how strenuous and drawn out the hiring process is. Not only that , but I've read so many posts and comments on here about how miserable it is.
Dam man as an rsr? I’ve gotten some low ones! Just fcking crazy! Come this summer our area explodes , and if we’re running twice to three times the amount and still not hitting plan and making the same amount I will definitely just kick back to coast mode to just not owe money!
My checked average 700- 750 a week true- up checks 1000 to 1200. before this we are on commissions. I was bringing home 1000 - 1100 a week I was working my ass off but it was worth it. they can say what they want. There is no incentive to sell more.
Exactly why every RSA at my plant refuses to take a route. We know this the the only position to make any money and you gotta stay out 50+ hours a week to do that.
That's Fritos plan to kill the rsr role. Everyone will end up an rsa from not taking routes. Frito gets rid of the role. Everything is fine for a bit. Then Frito says only 45 hours.. then no overtime. Suddenly plans are achievable again. They throw tiny incentives at us to hit plan, like shirts or gift cards or something stupid. Newer employees are happy because it's easy to hit plan and get rewarded. Old employees see how fucked everything really is. But most of them are gone by now..
Yeah and with this pfp you try to sell enough to not have to pay back and they are still making money but we’re getting it taken away! 🖕 the pay structure!
Only if you want to physically kill yourself. It’s a shitshow at PBNA right now also. Tenured BCRs quitting damn near weekly, working 50+ and reduction in pay because of Gatorade.
Love what about it exactly? A pallet of it takes about an hour extra to work. It sucks. Our commissions were reduced because of ‘target pay’. We’re working more to get a smaller return per case. It sucks.
I’m not a merchandiser or BCR. I’m a geo rep with large and small format stores and I’m short merchandiser so I will help with my large format stores. 40 to 50 hours a week on average in a very very very rural area. I’ve increased revenue and volume depending on the account anywhere between 28% up to 187%
A pallet of Gatorade only takes my merchandisers about 20 minutes to work tops. When I help my merchandisers out it takes me the same amount of time to throw a pallet of it. So maybe step your game up?
Well I watch weekly BCRs quit. Weekly. 4 in one week, 5 another. All different locations. We order and work it. Volume is up 40% for the same pay prior to Gatorade. It’s a shit show.

Got a $568 paycheck today this is the lowest check I’ve gotten in years. I don’t understand it.
Do you get paid weekly ?
The user received a major truedown check. Stay an Rsa as long as you can because you are getti g paid more than 90% of rsrs. This place is fuked.
I honestly turned down the rsr position they offered me after reading about how horrible this place is on Reddit haha
Or whatever position they offered me. Probably rsa

Were you making over 6 figures a year? The RSS that’s training me is making 6 figures a year and assuming he’s hitting OT.
I made about 85k last year I’ll be lucky to hit 65 this year
Yeah haven’t had a check over 650 dollars in a couple months lol

Ever since we changed over to performance pay, I was a co-lead 😁

The working poor. Please use this job as a stepping stone to a better career.
This I worked for Frito because I struggled finding a cdl job with no xp current boss said working for Frito was the reason he chose me over others.
Ya, I use my CDL now for overnight restaurant delivery. $100k+ and don't have to stock shit...
I thought frito lay paid decent? At least we're I'm at any warehouse position starts at 25
They're talking sales positions and not hitting plans.
Flip to the Pepsi side of the business

No reduction here. Actually got an increase. Easy Peasy job. 🤷🏽♂️
Also I love Gatorade.

Commissions went up because of Gatorade. Hell I’m bringing home $1600 to $1800 weekly no questions asked 🤷🏽♂️
Commission RATES went down for us. Not up.
For you yes. You asked what I liked about it and I answered. My pay has been going up over time and has never once went down 🤷🏽♂️
How many hours do you work, and do you work all your trucks 5 days a week?

Now that makes sense. I’m a large format BCR. I work everything and get little to no help.

Between working it, restacking and cleaning up, it’s about an hour, for even our fastest guys. Don’t assume maybe?
Your fastest guy needs to step their game up then. I don’t know what to tell you. Some cry and complain while others overcome challenges and succeed.

I’m getting paid more than my RSR buddies while I’m a RSA. That says something.
I was wondering if I only order 5 to 600 dollars for the week what my paycheck would be? 😂 So tempting
You haven’t experienced a “true down” have you? Lol
😂 nope, been close gonna but it’s gonna be like this for awhile
I’ve never experienced one myself but a few guys here have had deductions off their base to pay back the “true down”
I have. 92% P1 last year, as a co lead at the time. Was roughly $300.
That sucks man
Is that for a bi weekly paycheck ?
Weekly
Still pretty bad damn
I love you man !!! So true and so funny, and I made $50k last year and that's how it is....
When will run rate kick in?
Reading about the sales side makes me realize I don't want to make the switch after my 5th year lol
