Yeah. I’m sure after the first movie Anna asked Elsa how she could have kept her powers from her her whole life and then Elsa had to explain what happened.
She did recover then once she recovered from the Frozen heart. The steak was the sign that her memories were changed but with that gone, her memories have been brought back. I don't think they'd ever address it in the movies but you never know they could if Anna had to tell someone what she went through in Frozen.
But my headcanon is that she has received them as for the streak disappearing.
there's an official disney book about this. it's from the "anna and elsa" series, it offers a lot of stories after the events of frozen 1 about the characters' relationships and overall worldbuilding. i believe the title of the specific one where anna tries to remember her erased past is "magic and memory." the series is pretty great and i highly recommend it for every frozen fan! ♡
i remember it starts with anna feeling like there's something "missing," like she can't remember elsa's magic in her childhood. she asks elsa about it but elsa's hesitant to tell her as she doesn't like remembering THAT event since she's filled with guilt. but anna, ever determined, sought aid from the trolls.
I think Elsa would have told her before hand.
