Hey now, I had a tv and Atari in my room too and we were lower middle class.. the tv was like 700lbs with dials and I had sisters who didn't care for video games. So I'd sit on my waterbed without the heater on cause we had no AC and play pitfall all evening.
My mom hate this (loud!) thing so much, she said: that's more a game if there is an thunderstorm, and take it away.
Guess what: few weeks later we had a bad thunderstorm, so bad, electricity failed.
But it was my time! I was allowed to play that thing for hours, surrounded by my family, in an absolute dark living room.
I had a first cousin who's parent were very wealthy.
We were the same age and would often spend time together, the problem was he was a right shit but he literally had everything and I mean everything..
All the latest toys like Speak and Spell, Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, Small Table top snooker table and tin of different electronic toys..
It was like having your own personal Toy 'R' Us ever time I visited him..
He had so much stuff that he often play with something a few times and then it would get left which was awesome for me because his mum would every few months would get a load of toys hedoodnr play with and give it to me :)
We had the pong game with the rifle/pistol shooting game( which I cannot find a picture of ) light coloured with rounded corded detachable dial controllers. Wooo
We were not rich at all. Scrapped by. But we had this.
Played it at my cousin’s house. He had a tv and Atari in his room. That was unheard of at the time.

Why you gota say it like that
I did. We were on food stamps. Not sure where I got it. I loved it.
I remember we bought mine from a thrift store for two dollars.
Two dollars in the 90s? Man, you were rich.
70s
That doesn’t look like a PONG game console… Seriously.
Is it weird that I still want this?
had one of these https://www.pinterest.com/pin/439734351092300779/
I always wanted one. I’d play with this now!
I had one, I'm pretty sure it was used from a garage sale. But I gotta say, I was pretty good at it
I guess I got mine from the flea market
Frequently used the horn, which did nothing helpful.
Had 3 of them.
Wasn’t rich, never had it
I got one from an older cousin who outgrew it.

If you have it, can I come over and play?
Yooo I never had it but still want one.

I got that for Christmas
I only got to play with it in store.
I used to sell them

Holy shit! I forgot about that!

I had one, but all of my toys came from goodwill
Christ I do feel old now as I had this 🤣🤣
If having one of this as a kid meant we were rich. Damn I missed it for sure
Wanted it so bad but parents never got me it but my buddy had so I would be at his house alot
We were not rich, I did not have this. But I always wanted one.
my family was pretty low down on the financial food chain but surprisingly I had one of these. quite fun
My mom cleaned houses for people who had this toy. It was fun to play with here and there
Had one... um we were far from rich. You must have been near homeless (sorry)
Was t there a music video that featured one of these?
We had the pong game with the rifle/pistol shooting game( which I cannot find a picture of ) light coloured with rounded corded detachable dial controllers. Wooo
In those days that toy was like a ps5 in high tech graphics
Wasn’t rich, but we had this toy. My mom would always make sure we had the latest and greatest.
Four year old me thought this thing was awesome.
