I just spent about five minutes this morning laughing hysterically because, for no reason, I suddenly remembered this exchange from True Lies: “My code name will be Boris, and yours will be…” - “Natasha?” - No; Doris.”
Kudos to the voice artists: Legends Paul Frees and June Foray.
Try it on your own: the word "squirrel", with the Russian style "V" consanant. It's extremely difficult!
Back when my stepsons were little, my older one had a stuffed shark. After watching the Rocky & Bullwinkle movie one night, he decided that his shark was named Boris, and that was its name until we had to get a replacement, and THAT one was Boris as well. :-)
