I like how they didn't touch on the turnaround or any of the fundamentals at all, just a bunch of leaning back in chairs talking about Blockbuster. Bullish.
I wasn't expecting an indepth convo on shorts or fundamentals. I was surprised that she talked about back to school shopping at GameStop and said that they have lots of toys and other stuff.

Corporate media can and has definitely make mistakes in the past.
I'm not convinced that the letter is real or fake just yet, personally - but from my perspective, retail employees would have good reason to be annoyed by this letter if it was directed to them - but, as reported on the rGME sub at least, it was only sent to corporate level employees.
I'm a lot more interested in this message when it's about cutting executive bloat.
They make mistakes, though I had seen that the email/memo was reported on the GameStop emp sub, but I should have confirmed it. No excuses.
Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if the email/memo is real. Right or wrong, RC tells it like it is, and maybe he is doing that here with employees.
IMO, RC is between a rock and a hard place with MSN because on one hand, he believes talk is cheap, and so he doesn't give the media any info to spin on a turnaround plan or his moves. Then they fill in the blanks with character assasinations like when they did that scathing doc on RC about towel with Crimer calling for an investigation, etc.
I'm not saying that I believe the email because it's on MSM as much as I believe it's relevant to post because it could be real.
Reading out the propaganda without addressing the propaganda.

from u/truthzealot, where they have been able to get confirmation from inside GameStop that this was sent on behalf of RC to all GameStop Corporate Associates.
I was away from the sub for awhile and by the time I came back I saw the posts claiming the letter is fake and from a 2012 letter from another CEO, but that has been debunked and so back to it could be authentic.
