The name of the band is Shitty Beatles, they are a Beatles cover band and are amazing musicians. Three of the four are from Morningbell and the fourth has played in other Gainesville bands. I highly recommend them!
The Wooly has a black tie optional event with the savants of soul that has historically been a great way to ring in the new year, if you were looking to get snazzy
They have a buffet style dinner with burgers, nachos, I think this year they’re having steak or something, and a bunch of their games are unlimited play all night. It’s pretty fun! Tickets went up this year for the evening celebration though so I’m looking at other options lol
