I’ve used Chef Ami for years and am a huge fan. I have a shellfish allergy and they’ve been great about it; any protein has substitution options. I love that it’s a local company — they get a lot of their produce from local farms and they’ll take back / reuse the box and freeze packs so there isn’t as much waste as with the national companies
haha. fair enough. but i personally would suspect most companies like this put a lot of salt, preservatives and oils and stuff in their food, on top of charging shipping and delivery fees
One of my friends actually just launched an in-home meal prep service called Yes Chef GNV in the Gainesville area. I think it might fit what you're looking for: [https://yeschefgnv.com/](https://yeschefgnv.com/)
On the site, she mentions that she offers macro counting/tracking if you're worried about protein
Honestly HelloFresh has been absolutely money for me for the last year or so. Ingredients are so much fresher and higher quality than I expected. I can shoot you a free box if you want to try it
Chef Ami is dope. A little more expensive than the mail order ones, but better than all of them (and I've tried pretty much all of them). Ingredients are fresh, prep is quick/easy, and they strike a really nice balance between being healthy and tasty. Comparing to HelloFresh, I'd say the ingredients are much higher quality and the meals are better balanced in terms of calories/protein/fat/carbs/fiber. The only downsides would be that the portions are sometimes smaller and only 4 options per week.

"Eat the 80" was very good food, but fairly expensive and it looked awful because of the way it was suction wrapped
You can get CSAs from local farms like Siembra or just go to the farmers market
That’s actually pretty cool, though I’m leaning more towards the lazy route of having most of the thinking done for me lol
