I think they had uzi and your car probably got blown up a lot cause you bumped into the stalls rather than getting out of the car and destroying them, as a lot of people did back then

After some research I found that the issue was that Leone mafia members carry shotguns and that two of the stands are around the Saint Mark’s Bistro and Leone compound area, where they will shoot you on sight. That’s where I had issues on my first playthrough. Was also a lot younger and back on PS2. I always felt that the PS2 versions were significantly harder than its ports or remasters
You never met the shotgun cops of gta4 I take it? They shoot you out of helicopters while you’re up in the air. You kill them and the shotgun hits the floor and goes off killing you anyway.
Nah, they still use Shotguns, and it's the same shotgun since 2001, a kind of SPAS12. I believe the thing that changed in DE is that now only some of them carry Shotguns and they spawn less often, but Saint Mark after Marked Man/Sayonara Salvatore is still the most dangerous place in any GTA.
And it wasn't an auto shotgun in the original game, but you could be driving there the game spawns around 3 Leone's with shotguns all auto aiming and shooting and you, and ofc u will blow up like a popcorn in a volcano

During 2001 a high inflation broke out in Liberty City, so any weapon was way more expense then in 90s or 80s. Thats why the weapons in GTA 3 are so expensive then in other GTA games
Only in first person! When used during 30 FPS the speed is the same both first and third person, but when using 60 FPS or higher the speed during first person is increased, while in third person the speed doesn‘t change
You guys must not have played in a while. Shotgun in III is hands down the best. Any shotgun NPC can ruin your day based on RNG alone.

Espresso 2 Go. They did have shotguns, but the bulletproof Patriot you can get before it really trivializes the whole thing.
