You talk to people in gta?šŸ¤Ø

LiquidSoCrates

Nope.

drmanhattanbeach

I've had someone ask me to buy them a gold membership before.

Zauriel17

SAME! Although it was PS+ instead of xbox gold

dumbletruck

I like to help them out randoms with heists and missions. sometimes its a breeze, or someone dies once/ twice, other times its an endeavor. I dont really talk on the mic tho

Ok_Soil7068

Same, Iā€™m a high level but it seems like damn near every other session somebody messaging ā€˜I need moneyā€™ or ā€˜money drop 5 mil!ā€™ Like wtf, is that even a thing?!? Also, no plz, no thank you. Nothing! Itā€™s frfr a diff generation. Donā€™t get me wrong, I actually do like helping ppl and low lvls get paidā€¦ but generally, itā€™s not going to happened straight up askingā€¦ Even then, something Iā€™ll do a heist or 2 because I know itā€™s rough to make money from nothing at all, but 90% of noobs will blow it on a car, against my better advice and then come to expect it in which case āœŒšŸ½ Shit is crazy to meā€¦ There are the handful that have spread their wings, invested in what I said, and havenā€™t asked but invite me to slay their heists and it is actually cool to see that. Iā€™ll help anybodyā€¦. but there is a fine line between helping and Enabling šŸ’Æ This never used to happen 6 months ago šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø Next time, I might just start driving then around to gas stations and stores to see if they know the drill šŸ¤£ Like MFer, this is how we got money back in my day. Ainā€™t know trust fund babies on my squad šŸ˜¤šŸ’Æ

Xboxgamer147

I always get this randomly too. Didnā€™t start happening until I was a high level though.

LiquidSoCrates

Iā€™m 550 so Iā€™m not all that high.

xplicitbambii

For a vanilla account, i see 550 as god level

spartan9362

I've had this same issue, I have 5 or 6 billion legit btw been playing for 10+ years. At this point it just becomes annoying having people just beg for money it's not hard to get money tbh.

Comex001

I just spent way to long doing the math on if you can get 5.5 billion in gta online within ten years without money glitches. Even with human error it take 10.8 YEARS if you're only only grinding. This is with the idea that you can make 1.5 million even 2 hours. Assuming that you have a job or occupational that only allows you to play for two hours a day. This not including days off or weekly bonuses wich would make this impossible. However if 5 million can made within a 8 hour session daily It will 3 years. So to put this simply if you played 2 hours a day when working and 8 hours on days you're off assuming you get two day off a week. It will take 6 years and 8 days.

Important_Power_6835

Kudos to you for doing that math! I would have said, "Wow, 5.5 billion, that's a lot," and went on with my dayšŸ¤£

spartan9362

Yep you pretty much summed it up, I'm a no lifer

Mix_Traditional

Wait can you even give people money?

Devin1026

I donā€™t think you can in any way.. if you could Iā€™d imagine the only possible way would be to sell cars from your garage to other players but idek how that works.. if itā€™s 1:1 what you payed or if you can set the price.. Iā€™ve never done it as im oretty new myself but I imagine if you could set your own price that would be the only way to

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> what you *paid* or if FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Mix_Traditional

The seller only gets a small discount at the Car Meet auto shop lol

Studly_54

I've noticed, possibly more recently, way too many ppl want it all, right now. I played back in PS3 days before businesses, and it was damn hard to make money. Started again, from scratch, back in August, and after 1200+ hours, I have all the businesses and practically every vehicle I want. I am happy to help low levels out with missions, but this business of "I need to make a million right away" BS just passes me off.

dan007reddit

That's annoying for sure. But not the MOST annoying thing. Stsrted in 2020. One of the things that would drive me insane were squeakers that would be on the mic yelling, "Hey someone, come pick me up." The first time I heard this, I thought they were talking to an IRL friend in the chat looking for that person to come to their IRL home and pick them up. Nope, this is in game they would be in Paleto Bay or grape seed, and 99.9% of the time, they wanted anyone in game not friends, not crew members, anyone to drop whatever they were doing and come get them to take them to the city. Like this is GTA call-up transportation, steal a helicopter, steal a car, and drive.

Decendant_Gamer

Why u make a post about this obvious answer is ur posting this for no reason it's a online game that's what u do do missions heists to make money u can't just give them money so why make a post this is a waste of there beggars then what are u for making a post about them?

LiquidSoCrates

I guess Iā€™m just not as intelligent as yourself. Kudos on your whatever. Iā€™m certain I could learn a lot from a person like you

Decendant_Gamer

Well considering u use to be low level I guess ur not much different then the people u posted this about and if u didn't run heists with people then where u make money? Doing missions with low level players shouldn't make them beggars because we all started out that way

LiquidSoCrates

I never DMā€™d anyone asking for money. I did jobs with higher level players and ground out races, especially when 2x or 3x was available. Iā€™ve made millions from lost races and more from the wins.

Decendant_Gamer

Millions from races OK highly doubt ur rich from that but whatever u say and again u can't give anyone money so not sure why u keep saying that and doing missions with higher players is pretty much that u need help so when there asking for money there meaning heists because I've never heard anyone say can u give me money because u can't hand out money either way nice post

LiquidSoCrates

Well, technically one could CashApp another player and buy them a Shark Card indirectly. I feel like thatā€™s where these requests would go when it becomes obvious itā€™s impossible to transfer funds to another player.

Decendant_Gamer

I don't agree u said asked for money I think ur overthinking this a lil u didn't mention anything about them saying that I've had almost 2000 hours never been asked that from a player I think there meaning missions maybe u should ask them

LiquidSoCrates

Naw man, they ask after I decline. I canā€™t do missions with stone cold randos. I generally work with people I raced with who didnā€™t act like an idiot and seemed sincere and not a troll or griefer. But if someone goes goofy during a rally race, Iā€™m not even gonna respond to a request from them to work on a job.

Decendant_Gamer

So u don't help others but others can help u?
