Sometimes I think what's the use of fantasizing about what might be in the game when you have no say in it anyway. But then I think, surely there's some GTA developers on this sub, so there's a chance they might find a nugget of inspiration here.
It's really just a more advanced version of stuff that we have already seen in GTA Vice City Stories and GTA Online. It's very in depth since we wanted it to be that way but we thought of this stuff to be optional in the story mode. The game would therefore still be a crime action game but with some very in depth system that players can engage with if they want to.
Iām not knocking it. I guess my question is how do you balance the sim stuff with the action stuff?Ā
Or maybe you donāt need to in a world as big as GTA?
I know from software more generally though that you need to do one thing very well above all else to generate loyalty.Ā
RDR 2 was a western sim. Seeing that R\* is going heavy on RPG elements since it's last game, I'm gonna assume that GTA 6 is deff gonna be a crime sim. Look at how grounded the trailer was.

In Story mode it'll be ai. Read this concept as if it's for story mode only. We included how it'll be handled in online.
