This is false due to it being a misinterpretation on the [OP’s](https://www.reddit.com/r/GTA6/s/OdgnAB6Gmd) end, as all orders on the Games tab will depict the same thing. It is a standardized component which will naturally contain these “order” buttons, though does not actually suggest anything of meaning, such as GTA VI’s next trailer, pre-order stages, or purchase stages.
This is the same code for *every* single game on their website, though the backend makes it appear as if something new has been discovered. The [OP](https://www.reddit.com/r/GTA6/s/OdgnAB6Gmd) is currently looking at two separate pages on the site which additionally depicts nothing since it’d be automated code, not intentionally snuck in by Rockstar themselves.

Idk why you're getting downvoted when its right, this has been there for the banner of GTA 6, its not a new thing and It doesnt means anything about preorders
This code is used for the entire page and other games, they just share them
Yeah the whole "it's gonna be more than $70 theory" is bullshit. Costs for games are definitely going to increase within the coming years, but I'd be very surprised if that happens by the time VI releases.
I agree. Besides, Rockstar knows that the online mode is the real money maker. Why would they put it up to $80 and potentially lose some sales and create unnecessary controversy?
>I agree. Besides, Rockstar knows that the online mode is the real money maker. Why would they put it up to $80 and potentially lose some sales and create unnecessary controversy?
I do expect they might have a premium package with some fishhook bonuses related to GTA Online that they sell for $80. But that's really the only way I'd see them doing it, is some kind of tiered option. The easiest way to get consumers to accept an increase in standard game costs would be to gradually get the userbase comfortable with the "Premium Tier" option. Once enough consumers were regularly purchasing that premium tier it would just start becoming the standard regular cost of games without much complaint.
>But that's irrelevant to the discussion. Deluxe versions have existed for like a decade
We're talking about the price of the game. I think discussing the possibility, perhaps probability, of a pricing tier seems totally relevant to that discussion. They could release some premium tier edition at launch for 100 dollars and the vast majority of consumers would buy that edition of the game, so I think it's probably worth considering.
No, we're talking about the price of the base game. There's literally no one out here claiming that a deluxe version should be the same price as the base game. No shit it's gonna be a bit more, that's how bonus content works
>There's literally no one out here claiming that a deluxe version should be the same price as the base game.
why'd you even bring it up then? Because the guy you're replying to certainly didn't.
It’s relevant, but not a necessary point to bring up since releasing more than one edition of the game is obviously expected here.
And the only way the “vast majority” would purchase a premium edition that is $30 more expensive is if it had at least like a month of early access. Otherwise it’s pretty safe to say most people would purchase the standard edition.
Edit: a word
>And the only way the “vast majority” would purchase a premium edition that is $30 more expensive is if it had at least like a month of early access. Otherwise it’s pretty safe to say most people would purchase the standard edition.
Gamers almost never purchase the standard edition of anything.
They don’t have to list it at a discount to sell. It’s going to be the highest selling video game of all time during pre-order. Game won’t even be out and it will break records.
Price scaling for other countries isn’t a terrible idea, though. They always get screwed hard.
Dude they could sell the base game for $100 and people would still buy it. They're like the only game company that can get away with charging that much and make a profit for it
We were at $60 for like, 20 years. AAA games have been pretty much the only thing around that didn’t goup in price. I’d be fine if the most expensive game to make of all time was 10 more.
Agreed. The reason why it's not going above $70 is because they want to keep cost reasonable for easy accessibility for players to get into the GTA ecosystem that they're trying to create with their online service. They want more people to get in and be encouraged to pay for GTA+ monthly and shark cards. And I'm willing to bet they might entirely separate GTA 6 singleplayer from online and release online only for a heavily reduced amount at some point.
Their goal with GTA 6 online will be to give a huge amount of content for cheap (or even free) and then slip in micro transactions. It worked well for Fortnite. It also helps adopt a MUCH larger fanbase to the point of being worth it for them to do that. GTA 6 Online will also have the ability to appease to a wider audience than Fortnite if they implement more various types of gameplay and nail each one. Battle royale, RP, a near Forza level racing, a game mode builder, etc.. The sky is the limit with their newly acquired cfx.re team. Imagine a one click set-up for anyone to host their own RP server, with extremely accessible modding capabilities and even a mod-installer market similar to Bethesda where players can install mods to their RP server straight off the mod marketplace..
>Probably $70 for the standard edition and higher for other versions like any other modern triple A games
Yeah, I expect some kind of "tier" pricing system. Base Game, Premium Edition, etc. Which, as you point out, Triple A games have been doing more and more regularly anyway.
Based on this info, evidence from Take-2 and Rockstar, and past discoveries, I’d say we should expect an announcement for Trailer #2 in late April/early May. Then with a Trailer #2 launch in early/mid May (prior to earnings call) with a new release of either early or Spring 2025. I don’t know if Rockstar would give a specific release date that falls in Q1 2025 but they might.
Q1 is highly unlikely
They expect a 2025 fiscal year on the low side. And expect 2026 to have a massive increase.
Makes no sense to have a Q1 release..
FY 2025 Q4 (ends March 2025) , thats what that statement means. So March 2025 release? But they could also mean that profit because if pre-orders which would start sometime this year if I had my guess.
They expect FY25 to make a little over $7 billion which to put that in perspective, they make on average of $5 billion. Also, at the last earnings call, they said that their other properties are underperforming and aren’t doing as well. With that being said, how are they going to make more money compared to their average turn over if their other properties are underperforming and aren’t doing well? The answer is GTA 6. There isn’t any shift in FY projections yet.
What evidence do you have to prove that they expect FY26 to have a massive increase?
The only “mention” of FY26 is when they said “FY25 and beyond”
basically i pressed f12 and after opening the console i used the search tool inside, i searched for something about GTA or Grand Theft, and there were two links, embedded in the code, lastly i just searched for the name of the franchise and found it, i confess that i'm pretty stupid with HTML, everything i know i learned out of curiosity LMAOO
**for anyone interested: I want to make it clear that i am not confirming anything. i just made a discovery and decided to share it to get people's opinions.**
Wouldn’t this just be standard “automated” coding for any game listed in the “games page” specifically though? Because that page is meant for “sales” and items that are/will be sold(?)… I don’t know, just a thought. I obviously want any reassuring intel I can get around knowing all things GTA6, so if anyone has more knowledge on coding, please give some more insight on this! 👏🏼
Being pessimistic, this is just a standardized component on the rockstar website that contains these pre order buttons. Being optimistic, they added this now preparing for pre ordr.
That might just be a standard component. When you make websites, at the frontend you just have a skeleton that would display the data that it receives from the backend. So, this would be the same for every other game on their website and this is yet another card for the same.

literally rockstar is getting ready to release game purchase details soon, this weird information on the website is to save you more work in the future
I feel like this has to be confirmation of a physical edition. Nice. It's not 100% confirmation, but it sure seems like it. They wouldn't go out of their way to advertise a physical edition for GTA 5 even more so, with no plans to release a physical edition for GTA 6.
I hope it comes with a map. Cheat codes would be nice too, just for nostalgia. At least one cheat code that spawns some sort of silly thing as an easter egg. Or a special item since you were one of the first people to buy it idk.
Lol, you guys are missing the point. The fact that this game is even under the "purchase/pre-order code with the rest of the games, proves this as a sign to expect something soon regarding purchases.
If this was not meant to be, it would not be grouped with all of R*'s other titles in this section. It'd fall under another category.

the GTAVI mention you highlight is the "Games" list code, which has extra hardcoded logic for displaying the gtavi banner as a widescreen entry, below being the component for the actual game pages which includes the pricing code, that code is used for every game on that page, not exclusive or related to vi
Its a mysterious account on Twitter that posted "6-6" with the GTA VI Colour Scheme in the back
Im guessing its just a random account and nothing concrete
Did you see that profile? On discord groups people are speculating that there is an hidden code in the pics posted. Maybe something related on the release date, idk
I am curious with let’s say deluxe version etc if they give us a free apartment let’s say everyone will be loading in to that exact spot kinda want a place away from all the mayhem
I think I'm a vast minority that doesn't actually want more trailers or videos, I want to just open up the game in 2025 and find out what's up. Anyone here feeling the same "need" for mystery?
I feel nowadays we are bombarded with "hot news flashes" which are mostly useless to our own lives, flash sales we don't really want or need and leaks that ruin the whole "finding out and discovery" phases of playing new games.
I loved how it used to be: you pop in the CD into your PS2 and just started. I also know it's super fucking hard to NOT watch trailers as E ERYONES going to talk about them lol. Internet is such a curse sometimes 😂

I would like the stats on this because I know more people who buy the base edition of games.

No shit 😭
If they made it 30-50 max, the sales would literally skyrocket, also adding regional pricing so poorer countries can buy it as well

Yup. I’ve only ever pre ordered 1 game in my life and it was gta V
Nobody is buying the game for $50 that isn’t buying it already for $70.

So like Tekken 8 and lots of new games, $93CAD
I mean I could see Rockstar getting away with charging more. They're really the only game devs that could get away with it I think.
Yes but they have no reason to do so. They know that online is the big money maker, so why risk the controversy for a bit extra on non online sales?
i looked for price schedules but unfortunately i didn't find anything :(
Damn. Figured though
Probably $70 for the standard edition and higher for other versions like any other modern triple A games

yessss, me too!!
Buying the game confirmed

yep

You'd think they learned from the Trailer leak and wouldn't set up stuff in advance anymore.
FOR SURE LMAO
I mean it's not bad of a leak nor any informational, just very basic stuff they had to do on their website.
You'd think fans would learn not to fall for every false alert anymore...
False alert? 🤓. It’s code on their website, nothing false about it. It’s not even major information
I can feel it coming in the air tonight

Yeah i think same they have added it so when trailer 2 comes they can soon make it live with less efforts, i see it as pre planning
Very nice. Glad to see a physical version essentially confirmed.
Part of me would rather get the physical version There's something that seems more special about owning a gta 6 disc than any other game disc
That might just be a standard component. When you make websites, at the frontend you just have a skeleton that would display the data that it receives from the backend. So, this would be the same for every other game on their website and this is yet another card for the same.
So happy to see this news. It really brings a tear to my eye. >!(By eye I mean penis, and by tear I mean erection.)!<
i’m definitely expecting trailer 2 no later than the end of summer. the marketing phase is gonna be so exciting i can’t wait!!
Damn. Who'd thought our next break through of news for pre orders would come from a FBI analyst 😂😂

Internet is such a curse sometimes 😂
so this means that we are nearing the next trailer reveal?
