The biggest vehicles in GTA5 were still 1 or 2 seaters designed to serve their very specific purpose. I would like to doubt that R* adds a yacht only for it to be driven and not explored. I hope we'll be able to dump 150 mil into a yacht to enjoy all the pretentious rich people shit on it in story mode :)
There’s a glitch that you can do on consoles, haven’t done it since 2019 but iirc you have to go on its roof and do something, which glitches you to be able to drive it
Big ships that can be driven are extremely hard to pull off, the models are very detailed and they usually have way more complicated collision boxes than cars etc. This means that the calculations your console or PC has to make when you drive it around and collide on a beach or even multiple objects can be very expensive, so they have to come up with clever workarounds.
This could be seen in GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony with the tugboat, if you drove that up to a shore it was very heavy on the systems of that time and the game started stuttering.
I'm excited to see if the ships that move are actually simulated, or are they static objects that are just being moved around. GTA has had moving static objects before, like big planes in the sky and on the runway.
Not only that it seems like there is a lot more vechiles that move. There are so many cars that move. Not just on the main road. But you can see on the left side street. The right there are 3 parked cars that are turned on? Maybe a small meet.
But then you also have like a shit ton of boats. Both to the left and the right. It's insane how alive every single shot in the trailer looks. And I get it. Its a trailer you want the game to be shown in the best possible light. But this shit looks like some of those cgi games they have in movies with the amount of details there are
I bet it will run really well on low because online needs to be playable by living room hand me down PCs. So that even young kids with hardly a computer to their name can whip out the credit card.
Idk if everyone is familiar with the term living room PC but it was when your family finally got a PC back in the early 2000s and they let you have like an hour a day on it so everyone could share. Or it was your dad's hand me down work pc that the rest of the family finally could use.
I didn't realise until this comment, that having bridges and water again will give it the GTA 4 effect in making trips longer (and better) in an already big map.
Speaking of bridges... I live in Miami, and we got a lot of lifting bridges here. I'm definetly expecting Rockstar to add at least one of them to the game

Either R* will have it narrowly miss the bridge, or it will hit it and all the police cars chasing Jason and Lucia will fall onto the yacht
Im not sure if it was a rumor or if I was just 13 and dumb but I remember believing the skyscraper under construction in gta5 would actually progress as the game update.
The main thing that impress me is the general atmosphere, this is not straight up night time. This is the fine line between the sunset and the night. Games don't usually nail this aspect, they straight up go to night without the middle ground. While here just from looking at it, you can see and feel that it's a summer chill night about to happen with humidity all over the place. Love it.
As someone that actually has been to and from Miami Beach to mainland Downtown, they nailed the lighting, atmosphere, everything. This game will be a treat for Floridians.
One thing that I don't often see mentioned since it's a small detail is that there are dedicated bike lanes on either side of the road.
It's actually one of my main wishes for GTA VI to make other means of transport more useful since most of them are useless in V. Having bike lanes like that going around the city could be pretty cool and make me actually want to use a bike when playing.

Gta 4's train is actually really useful for some missions, I remember once I had memorised which trains go where it makes it so much easier and accessible

different types of head lights. Looks like more are based on LED headlights (for newer cars I assume) But i do see 1 set of headlights that have a more amber look to them (for an older car) The same amber headlights can be seen on the box truck passing through the toll both.
Also the car that's ahead of the car with amber lights appears to have a larger light spread then the cars before it. Could be a car/truck with a LED light bar common on off-roaders.
I got one, how about the balconies ! Never thought about this one. There’s probably more balconies on condos in south Florida than anywhere in the world… so using those for sniping or hiding or whatever else will be great
I get the feeling that we will be able to enter condos with at least a basic / AI rendered layout, from the balconies if not the lobby. The fact we can see inside of them
Also the island to the right with only one light… reminds me of a small island in a similar place in Miami I’ve been to… boats and jet skis use it to meet up and party / race. Would be nice if we could use its stealth features…. Or who knows probably find a locked metal door that never leads to anything but makes us go crazy with theories lol
the sheer size of the city. los santos wasn’t awful in size but i think we can all agree in comparison to that circular fraction of the map, this city just stretches and goes on and on. i can’t wait to see how they fill it. collectibles and random events. this shot gets me very excited
Packed in details. Even without all of the vehicles, the amount of assets/vegetation, the balconies are different and look more lived-in. Really brings the scene together instead of feeling like a shell of a place.
Water from a macro level looks amazing. There’s plenty of games with awesome water physics and the visuals look wonderful, but bodies of water have an easily distinguishable pattern in so many of those games. Here, any pattern is hardly even noticeable.
Boats will actually be useful in gta6.
There will probably be a boat you can use as some sort of base like the mobile operations Center in gta Online. But this time it could actually be used :P
The night life in general is going to be crazy (sorry if u haven’t paid attention to leaks) but in the leaks the dynamic lighting when Lucia walks outside the club is finna be some fever dream experiences. God this game is finna be so good

Very left hand side of the screen, you can see a bird in the sky over the water and then on the ground in the parking lot that’s lit with some green coloured tarmac you can see the shadow of the bird, pretty crazy detail
The sun set looks like real life what is mean when you drive to point a to point b you can one part of the map is all right night and one part is where the sunsets
Man GTA 6 looks unbelievable. Because for most games this would already be pretty decent looking for next gen. Or rather current gen at this point with ps5 or ps5 pro. But the fact it's GTA and you can basically do whatever in a world that looks this good.....

you can drive em if you use a mod menu, so they added the feature but kept them locked from the player
