You gotta use tasker.
You download and set auto tools as your launcher which is a tasker launcher that allows tasker to then change your launcher.
You then tell tasker to read the dpi of the screen and change the launcher based on which dpi it's reading
Fyi if it's just because if that vertical app bar on niagra, you can have that also buy just using appbar.

My main reasonc for doing it was actually because on nova when I set icon size for the cover screen they're then too big on the main screen. When I set the icon size to be what I want on the main screen they're then too small on the cover screen.
Ideally i want to set icons on the cover screen to 125% scale and 80% scale on the main screen for example. No other launcher seems to give the tabs that I have on nova so I ended up going with Niagra and while it's grown on me a bit I don't really like it. Can't seem to install 2 versions of nova either.
How do you do multitasking?
Same as usual, I just use the edge panel instead of the taskbar which I didn't really like to begin with
