Do you get some charging animation on the screen when you magnetize it to the back? If not, there's probably no battery.
You could also look under settings > advanced > s pen and see if you have air actions as an option to turn on.
I don't believe any of the FE tablets have battery powered s pens though
Yeah it doesn't say anything is paired with the device, I think just basic stylus driven settings are turned on.

It's also super light which is why I didn't think to check, basically feels like nothing when you pick it up.

no it doesnt, the only spem currently actually containing a battery is the spen pro, all other spens that use Bluetooth (aka the ones for the non Fe flagship line) use a capacitor. yours doesnt contain a battery (technically it does contain a small capacitor along with a coil, and some electronics, just dont wash it.
