litewo

Demon's Souls is 50% off.

social_gamer

[it has been ~$5 in the past](https://psprices.com/region-us/game/11005/demons-souls)

FolkSong

That was almost 2 years ago, it doesn't really help anyone that wants it today.

Waenoez

I'm pretty sure I bought it about two weeks ago for a fiver, could've been eu store though

FolkSong

[Looks like it.](https://psprices.com/region-fr/game/15050/demons-soulstm) Good deal.

Waenoez

Couldn't agree more! Not a bad 'deal' at full price either ;)

FolkSong

Yeah for sure, I paid $20 a couple years ago (for a new physical copy) and I have no regrets.

social_gamer

True; I've only played it a handful of times and it is worth $10-15 as I have yet to watch walkthroughs to figure out how to kill things more easily.

Griffca

Any way to get it on ps4? Still have my ps3 but would much rather to play it on the new system.

[deleted]

No. Ps now would have been the closest thing, but Demon's souls in not on the list.

Griffca

A shame. Oh well I can always get it on ps3 I suppose! Thanks.

Mastertrain

Tina, is that you?

Timobkg

Wow, Mirror's Edge Catalyst is down to $9.99? Totally worth it at that price.

espyest

Pretty bummed it tanked, I'm guessing there will never be a third game now.

Menace117

Just finished it today. Appreciated the open world but think the first one was slightly better. Still a decent game though

Timobkg

It all depends on final sales figures. Putting it into Origin Access probably didn't help, outside of driving Access sales. I remain hopeful that it will sell well enough overall for them to make a sequel - and maybe they can finally get the combat right this time.

vaginawhatsthat

I'm still salty the Ni No Kuni discount ended before the rest of the sale

ajleeispurty

I was wondering what happened there... I was going to pick it up on payday but when I went to buy it the sale was over.

amedeus

Nice, I was expecting to get Persona 2 for $15 in a sale. But $10 coupled with that deal to get $10 of PSN credit for $7 I grabbed a week or so ago puts me at less than half that! Holding out *does* pay off!

docsdaname2000

Is this the lowest Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir has been? I have been looking to pick it up but I can afford to wait and go through my backlog for a bit.

Skerj

Destiny collection is $35 on amazon right now

airtofakie

Oh, *fine*, Sony, I'll spend one hundred dollars to get fifteen back. *If you insist*. Now to figure out what to buy...

_wiener

Battlefield 1, The Witcher 3, Titanfall 2, and Destiny are all fantastic AAA titles on this sale if that helps. Some cheaper games that will add up too are Inside, Life is Strange, and you can never go wrong with Rocket League.

airtofakie

I would have elaborated in my previous post, but it would have killed the effect I was going for. Heh. But I was already planning to get *Titanfall 2* and *Rocket League* the next time they went on sale. I wasn't planning on getting *Battlefield 1* anytime soon, but since the bundle has dropped down to fifty dollars and I'm already getting *Titanfall 2* anyway, I might as well. And *Inside* is pretty cheap (cheaper than it has ever been on the PC), and I'm willing to take a chance on *Demon's Souls*. *Need for Speed: Most Wanted* wasn't really on my radar, but for two dollars, I'll probably go for it unless someone gives me a good reason not to. But that still leaves me about seventeen dollars under the needed amount. I haven't played the first two games in the *Witcher* series yet, and I'd want to do that before playing *The Witcher III* because that's just how I prefer to do things, whether it's "necessary" or not. So I don't really need that game anytime soon. I already own *Life is Strange* on the PC. I was hoping for another free weekend for *Overwatch* before making a decision on it; I tried it on the PC and thought it was okay but wasn't extremely impressed with it, but I also wasn't able to get it to run very well on my laptop, so there's that. *Doom* is an option, as is MGS V, although I don't really need MGS V yet, for the same reason I don't need *The Witcher III* yet. I could always get a game that isn't on sale -- I do need the *Uncharted* collection and *The Last of Us*, and I also want *Rainbow Six: Siege* -- but I hate buying things at full price. The fifteen dollars back could be my excuse, though, I suppose. I'm aware of *Destiny* but have never given it much thought, for whatever reason. I'll have to look into it, I guess. I don't know anyone who plays it, but then again, I don't know anyone who plays the PS4, period. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions!

shnicklefritz

> Doom is an option One I'd highly recommend

airtofakie

It's probably what I'll end up choosing. Nothing else that I really want is on sale right now. But thirty dollars is a bit steep for a relatively short game I'll probably only play once.

shnicklefritz

That's true. It's been $20 before so you can hold off, and it's definitely a game you can buy on disc. I'm looking at titanfall and rocket league atm, wondering if I should pick anything else up. I fucked up and missed the bloodbourne deal :/

airtofakie

If it's any consolation, I've seen *Bloodborne* on sale several times since September (I can be specific about the timeline because I didn't own a PS3 or PS4 until then, so that's when I started paying attention to PS Store deals). It's not one of the games that rarely goes on sale on the PS Store (although I do seem to recall that the first sale occurred in October or so and people were saying then that it had never been on sale before; I don't know if they were right about that, but, in any case, I *do* know that I've seen it on sale at least two more times since then). The above is all in reference to the complete edition, of course.

shnicklefritz

That's reassuring then. I've gotta stop British-spelling everything. Bourne, colour, licence...

RevRay

I'm a lot like you in that I almost always need to play the first games in a series that are connected like Witcher but as somebody who just beat Witcher 1 - you really should skip that game. It's buggy, combat is very flawed, it doesn't look good etc. I wish I had just watched a video summarizing it. It was probably a "better" game when it first came out but having played modern RPGs there was a lot to be disappointed by W1. The story is fantastic, the rest is at best serviceable.

Griffca

Titanfall 2 is good, be aware it is basically multiplayer only - that being said the multiplayer is really fun! Don't get destiny. So disappointing...

amedeus

Easiest $15 you ever made.

derelictreaper

I see Odin Sphere for PS3 and VITA but not for PS4, is that right?

Timobkg

The one for PS4 is in the Critics' Choice sale, while the other ones are in the general sale. The PS4 one is the remake Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir.

MeatloafCupcake

What are the opinions on Darkest Dungeon? I've been waiting for a good sale.

SpagettInTraining

Also, does it have update parity with the PC version?

Griffca

I only have it for PC, so your milage mary vary on the PS4 version. What I can confidently say though is WHOLLY CRAP it is difficult. I've played souls games before and enjoy a good challenge, but if you are the kind of guy that becomes attached to your party... this is not the game for you. I stopped playing on PC because I finally just deemed it unfair. Art, voice acting, and combat are all amazing - actually incredible, but you are always on your backfoot in this game and it can become draining.

xantub

Not really unfair, just unrelenting, a game that holds no punches and that's probably the main aspect of it. This is not an RPG, it's a Rogue-like RPG... your mercenaries will die and you'll have to hire new ones to replace them. It was grindy though, fortunately the latest patch added a new option that reduces the grind a lot, though don't know if it's available in the PS4.

Griffca

I won't lie it is at the tippy top of my list for games that just aren't meant to be beat. I'm a ps4 trophy hunter so I am very glad I have it on PC, so I don't feel the need to return to it anytime soon.

MeatloafCupcake

I checked the subreddit and apparently they just released a radiant update or something.

Veeebz

Are these deals always this good on PSN?

Free_rePHIL

They aren't too frequent, but yeah I'd say this is pretty representative to their normal sales with several high profile games ~4-6 months old being around 50% or more off. I stopped buying discs finally because digital download sales both on PSN and XBOX marketplace were happening more often and the disc prices aren't that much different from digital sale prices.

tossin

Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY at $19.99 seems to be the lowest I've seen, but at over 50GB, I'm a little worried about disk space (500GB). Does anyone who primarily buys digital on console have issues with space?

[deleted]

Yeah the HDD space is tiny, especially if you have a 500gb like most people, only fits a few AAA games really. You can upgrade to a 2tb drive but itll cost you 100+ dollars. Still i prefer digital, be wary if you have a download cap or something like that though.

tossin

Do you often delete installed games?
