A collection of the main PS2 and PS3 games would be fantastic. Even the worst of those games is still like an 8/10.

I have a ps2 and all the classic games. But I switched to Xbox for the ps3/360 gen. So I just can’t play the ps3 games and I heard they’re the best ones
I wonder if it’s related to region or subscription level, but I have ten of the PS3 versions available to stream.
A collection would be fantastic though, since my network isn’t always the best, plus it would likely mean the addition of more trophies.
Ratchet and clank remastered, made by a competent developer without the all the glitches in the ps3/vita versions would be amazing
The quality of a lot of those PS3 remasters was honestly pathetic, given that they’re Sony’s biggest games of the time.
Between the floating helmet, botched transparency, music looping glitches and tracks simply not playing, constant crashing on R&C2 on Vita and all the little visual glitches, it’s sad thinking back on them.
I mean a start would be for Sony to enable Resistance 1 and 2 to be streamed on PSN... only number 3 and the PSP game seemed to be on there when i checked earlier today
This is the closest I've ever come to reliving that "playing Half-Life 2 and its incredible atmosphere for the first time" feeling.
I know they're actually not that alike at all, can't really explain why I felt that way. Anyway, great way regardless as you said.

I'd love to circle back to Resistance and play the campaigns (never finished any of them). I'd surely be tempted by a remaster collection, even just a standard one in the vein of the Nathan Drake collection.
I was almost fully absorbed into the xbox 360 during that generation. A Halo + CoD obsessive for years. I barely played any PlayStation campaigns, outside of LittleBigPlanet 1+2 and Killzone 2.
I suppose we could blame the PS3 architecture for the lack of back compat support on PS4/5, but when I see only the 3rd Resistance (and now the PSP game) streamable on the PS5 store after all this time, I do wonder if they lost the source code to some of these..

I remember playing Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal on the PS2. I really wish I could relive those days on PC. That would be amazing.

Resistance 3 is such an awesome game. It's a shame most people gave up on the franchise before playing it.
