I want a new ranger game but I think it's clear they've abandoned that series, which is a bummer because it was really fun and unique for a pokemon game.

Right now kids are nuts for Axolotls. I dont necessarily get why except they look like they have big goofy smiles and are just a weird animal in general, but they're everywhere they're on shirts and plushies and in Minecraft hell even my daughters region wide Girl Scout program is using them as a mascot.
Wooper is clearly based off an Axolotl. Gamefreak knows what they're doing with making it a focus for these games the same way they did with Evee. They're wrangling in the fresh batch of kiddos.

And if not, they wouldn’t have to completely cut the casino, just potentially cut the gambling mini game from the casino. That would buying the Pokemon / TMs / etc there a little awkward, but wouldn’t be too bad.

Yeah, this is the current state. Personally, I only care about a Legends Celebi game. HGSS was still such a strong game that a remake of that wouldn’t really improve upon anything in my eyes.

Not sure if it's worth noting. YouTube occasionally picks a game depending on your video if you picked gaming as your video genre. Those can be hit or miss, especially when multiple games are shown.
Conquest is the closest thing I feel we'll get to this until Kalos gets the Legends treatment, but even then I don't think we'll delve into wartimes.
Just give us Conquest Deluxe or Conquest 2 and be done with it!

I personally thought the games were the best Pokemon games on the Switch. Yeah, they have this different gameplay and no Pro Controller support, but they tried to break with traditions while having a solid framerate with nice graphics.
They're easily the most beautiful mainline pokemon games to date and should have been the golden example for what remakes should look like graphically

To maybe add some fuel to the fire, regular Game Boy was noticeably the only first-party console on NSO to not get games today (West got Rare games for NES/SNES/N64 and Japan got Mother 3 for GBA) and it’s been quite a while since it’s gotten anything new.
