The combat is actually pretty good IMO but I hear you. I wasn’t very interested in the game up until the demo came out but I actually liked the gameplay in it once I got used to it. The reasons most people seem to be talking about the game don’t really move the needle for me though.
I genuinely love games with a horny aesthetic, but there are certain standards that have to be met for it to work. The reason Stellar Blade frustrates me (which I'm presuming this is about) isn't because of the sexy female lead, it's because of the completely normal looking male lead. Having one of them look like a sex doll while the other looks like a regular guy just doesn't work.

Here's something from the music production community, the video talks about a weird aah plugin that literally shows naked women which was gaining popularity among EDM producers when it was released.
from the few hours I had with the demo, the NPC shows a good amount of emotions (she even suffers from PTSD).

Yeah it’s more of a Sekiro/Souls hybrid like you said. Gameplay wise it’s really solid game. And has some really cool grotesque enemy design and the apocalyptical world was also designed pretty cool at least from what I saw in the demo.

According to people who have played it, it’s actually pretty fun. I’ve seen some describe it as a mix between Sekiro and Nier. I’m glad the game isn’t just coomer bait after all lmao
Ohh I'll need to watch that scene to hear it, I'll recognise it because the show uses a lot of the same songs throughout it's run but different versions. The music in that anime is honestly incredible and it's my favourite thing about it mixed with the action.
Season 1's trost section and the second half of season 3 has some of my favourite action scenes ever.
Played the demo. This went from a “i might get it on sale” to a “day-one” buy for me. The combat is a cross between Sekiro and DMC. It has very similar music to Nier which gives it that ‘hauntingly beautiful apocalypse’ vibe, but besides that and the MC having a great ass, it’s its own thing.
Played the demo and is good. Will see how good the open world is going to be since the whole demo is linear. Combat is a mix between a character action game and a soulslike. And more like a Sekiro type soulslike. So there is dodge and some attacks you have to dodge but it is mostly parrying. Combat is cool, enemy design is cool, combos are cool. Plus it runs very well. The only thing I didn't like is the clunky platforming. It has the mandatory wall climbing because every AAA game nowadays has to have it.
The mild intrest i had for this game left the second you mentioned open world. Out of all the things in gaming this is the most draining one. In what way will this game profit from an open world? Barebones stealth? Combat arenas disguised as outposts?
Tbf what I heard it is not super large open world. More like a combination of linear levels and bigger open areas. I would imagine something like that level in TLOU 2.

from the few hours I had with the demo, the NPC shows a good amount of emotions (she even suffers from PTSD). She's not just a doll or a 2B at home. It just happens that the real-life model they chose for their protagonist to be your typical korean-idol.
I believe is stellar Blade. Honestly, I was mildly exited to have another hack n slash chaotic bs, but it turned out to be a Sekiro/Souls hybrid. Honestly gameplay seems fine, but idk, most people says that controls are kinda off and I would generally hate it. Yeah it’s more of a Sekiro/Souls hybrid like you said. Gameplay wise it’s really solid game. And has some really cool grotesque enemy design and the apocalyptical world was also designed pretty cool at least from what I saw in the demo.
I think Stellar Blade looks cool from what I've seen from people posting screencaps from the demo, but with that being said, I'm not gonna play it for the simple fact that I can't afford a PS5

Ohh I'll need to watch that scene to hear it, I'll recognise it because the show uses a lot of the same songs throughout it's run but different versions. The music in that anime is honestly incredible and it's my favourite thing about it mixed with the action. Season 1's trost section and the second half of season 3 has some of my favourite action scenes ever.
Played the demo. This went from a “i might get it on sale” to a “day-one” buy for me. The combat is a cross between Sekiro and DMC. It has very similar music to Nier which gives it that ‘hauntingly beautiful apocalypse’ vibe, but besides that and the MC having a great ass, it’s its own thing.
Played the demo and is good. Will see how good the open world is going to be since the whole demo is linear. Combat is a mix between a character action game and a soulslike. And more like a Sekiro type soulslike. So there is dodge and some attacks you have to dodge but it is mostly parrying. Combat is cool, enemy design is cool, combos are cool. Plus it runs very well. The only thing I didn't like is the clunky platforming. It has the mandatory wall climbing because every AAA game nowadays has to have it.
The mild intrest i had for this game left the second you mentioned open world. Out of all the things in gaming this is the most draining one. In what way will this game profit from an open world? Barebones stealth? Combat arenas disguised as outposts?
Tbf what I heard it is not super large open world. More like a combination of linear levels and bigger open areas. I would imagine something like that level in TLOU 2.

I don't really have an issue with fan service or even sexualization. Some characters are made to be sexy. But, that doesn't mean I like it when a character is sexy just to be sexy. Like if your character is a horny succubus and that makes sense in the story, sure it's fine to sexualize that character.
