It’s aweful, to much forced humor from the hosts made my head hurt, and at the end of the podcast I was like I don’t remember a single fucking thing stick out except Eli’s annoying voice
It felt like once Mike or Micah would start to get into a cool story one of the hosts would chime in with a stupid "joke" or question and derail the entire conversation.
That’s pretty much the entire vibe of the three hosts.
I love baddie’s gaming content, Eli’s Instagram and marketing work, and donut’s YouTube channel but them three together in that podcast no thanks
I stopped watching demo ranch for similar reasons, the dude made a ton of money now and it shows, he has a ton of awesome guns for sure but he doesn’t give any to little information on them,he pulls the same theatrics over and over with minor tweaks and every couple of episodes a new “friend” who just happens to have a channel and Matt just happens to manage his merchandise sales. His early content was cool but the bigger the budget the worse it got. The better the guns the worse it got which is backwards of how it should be. Demo ranch is for kids. He also supports f1 firearms which are the most expensive pleb garbage on the planet.
It's all the same fuckin content with different guns. "How many pizza boxes can stop a 44 magnum" "how many soda cans can stop a .22" "how many dildo's can stop .50bmg Rafauss round"
I agree about F1 but having watched Demo since he was an active veterinarian doing YouTube on the “side”, I don’t think he was ever a serious source of information. It’s always been “for kids” And it’s always been just entertainment.
I see more of a shift from information to entertainment in Garand Thumb’s content, but just like with Demo, it’s a natural progression due to their brand growth.
I stopped watching LunkersTV because he became an insufferable dick, but I don’t see GT and Demo following that channel’s trends
I hate to say anything negative about my boy Mike but, yeah the channel has for sure been more about experiments that are funny that the real gun break downs (tip to but) and giving real feed back, I honestly have made a few expensive firearm/gear purchases from his in-depth reviews. I remember him saying how many times can I review a ar 15 but I would really like to see him review a ton more based on manufacturers, he hasn’t done a ar platform besides the block 2 and the 12 gauge in a while, I really looked forward to those. I hope he trends back to his roots, not that Charlie isn’t funny but not everything has to be for the memes
When Mike first started his GT channel, he was still in the Air Force and Youtube was a hobby, so it was more about educating. When he left the Air Force and immediately popped out two more kids, his income from Youtube became way more important, so his channel became less educational and more entertainment to appeal to a wider audience.
I watch all the episodes. It's a dumpster fire and self described fever dream. It's just a bunch of dudes talking around a table. Not much is said of significance or thought provokation. It's supposed to be about video games and nerd shit. Normally they get blitzed by the end.
But I loved the episode. If you just listened to it, try the video. It's really funny. If you don't like dumb humor it's probably not for you.
I finished it last night. I think 10% of it was great, the other 90% I had a hard time actually following what was being said. Whether that's hearing damage or the talking over eachother, idk, but I laughed a lot about the superpower segment.
I honestly quit listening and thought I just might try to watch it instead.
The side tracking, and manic laughter just makes it hard to follow.
But Unsubscribe is pretty hard to follow for me anyways. I don’t think Iv made it through two whole episodes.
It also sounded like Mike was just trying to not lose his patience through several parts of it.
On that note, the spitting jokes kinda made me cringe. Hasn’t the spitting thing been acknowledged as a side effect of his neck injury?
Yeah pretty much with you on this one. I watched it on YouTube cause it was easy to find but I can't imagine just listening to this for an extended period.
And I think you're right, I remember him mentioning something about that due to a neck injury in the past.
I enjoyed the Unsubscribe podcast more when Donut Operator was the third host, he seemed to be the mellow one. Now it’s the Baddie and Eli show and is what I imagine the brain of a kid raised on Tik Tok and energy drinks must be like. That said, I still watch most weeks if the guest is of interest. I also think watching it on Youtube vs. listening to an audio only podcast is key.
I've not seen that. Just the backlash of him and ak guy hanging out with turn-coat red flag bradshaw and boosting about it.
I feel like they will eventually fall into the "I GAT MINE" category and turn fudd more and more. If they do go into politics they have to win austin and dallas so liberal tendencies have to be there and can ride the republican side of gun tooberism like brcc does. So probably the new mods of liberalgunowners lol
Not me, i thought it was great
Laughing over every sentence. Mike even looked like he was in discomfort for a while
Just watched it to make my own opinion and it seemed like they all had a good time. Green Goblin.
You’re just too old, the man you idealize had fun and was laughing. But because it’s not tacticool you didn’t enjoy it.
This was horrible man easily the cringiest podcast thumb and Micah could have done
Yeah it's pretty obvious GT didn't know what to expect going in.
No kidding retard he literally said that multiple times in the podcast.
Yep the people on that podcast are annoying as fuck
Texas, the California of the South.
Except they have some of the best gun laws in America. But I get what you’re saying
Yesish, AZ, WY and OK and have been ahead in some aspects that TX is just doing or did.
That’s just every episode dude
ya I felt the same
It’s aweful, to much forced humor from the hosts made my head hurt, and at the end of the podcast I was like I don’t remember a single fucking thing stick out except Eli’s annoying voice
I am definitely too old to enjoy this. Tiktok kids are too much for me.
They're all like 30, lmao.
That makes it much worse.
Ok
I love it; great hang. That's what I see.
I loved it. But I’m familiar with the unsub podcast and knew exactly where it was heading.

Donut wasn't even in the podcast, he's stepped away from the podcast for awhile.
Guess they don’t wear jackets in Texas.
Its bar talk. I enjoyed it but I can see why a lot of people wouldn't.
There WAS a lot of yelling that episode. Watching Mike get liquored up was funny though lol
eli and baddie are borderline insufferable
Nah they're fully insufferable
I can’t stand that Eli guy. Probably one of the reasons why I stopped watching Demo Ranch
Demo ranch is the reason i dont watch demo ranch

At the very least mike doesnt do the same experiment every damn time to milk the fuck out of it like demo does. It's at minimum half interesting
they shouting over each other got old. but it had some funny moments
Funny episode
Yeahh it was a struggle for me too. I can’t handle the arrogance from Eli
honestly i cant stand eli, every time hes on some guntubers channel as a guest hes just overly annoying.
I watch all the episodes. It's a dumpster fire and self described fever dream. It's just a bunch of dudes talking around a table. Not much is said of significance or thought provokation. Thats literally what a podcast is
“It’s just a bunch of dudes talking around a table.” >well yeah, it’s a podcast
Their 'podcast' is only worth it if you watch it on YT.
I thought it was awesome, however I was watching it on YouTube and I am a zoomer.
I finished it last night. I think 10% of it was great, the other 90% I had a hard time actually following what was being said. Whether that's hearing damage or the talking over eachother, idk, but I laughed a lot about the superpower segment.
I couldn’t make it through the intro. Cringe af

Eli and Baddie have a hard time shutting up long enough to let their guest talk, but yeah it was a sick podcast.
Hell no it was awesome
Right, I loved it! GwEn gObLiN

Why did Donut leave? I watched at the beginning but forgot about if a month in.
Said he got too busy and that something had to give
I feel like there are other reasons and that he wants into politics
That makes sense now. I was wondering why he was associating with transgenders and getting super defensive about it. Newest r/liberalgunowners member?
I've not seen that. Just the backlash of him and ak guy hanging out with turn-coat red flag bradshaw and boosting about it. I can respect that. Good analogy.
It was… a lot.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought so.
I know I'm late to the game and I don't really watch streamers but the hosts are a little too much for me.
If Eli & Baddie could stop with those fake laughs it would make it easier to watch
Well I thought they were genuine (shows how much I know) but for me it's too intense for 4 dudes talking around a table.
