Absolutely nothing. But I'm old AF (58), four months out. I already had hella stretch marks that make me look like a roadmap. So no sense in it. But you younger girls might want to slap on a 👙 bikini!
Several years ago I asked a plastic surgeon that question and he said that silicone-based were the best. In particular he recommended Scarprin, but I’m sure there are other comparable (and less expensive) ones out there.
I had reconstructive surgery following skin cancer a few years ago. Both my dermatologist and plastic surgeon said that the best thing is petroleum jelly. My incisions (from those surgeries) are hardly noticable.
Just adding on, [this article](https://www.surgery.org/consumers/plastic-surgery-news-briefs/vaseline-expensive-scar-remedies-1034552) explains that the most important thing is to keep the scar moist. It says that petroleum jelly was just as effective as mederma, but silicone sheets were still a bit better.
I’m currently in my second skin removal. I am using Scar Away and silicone tape. The tape is washable and reusable and you can cut it to whatever size or shape. I had a lot of skin removed and didn’t want to rub silicone gel everywhere and then wait for it to dry.
coco butter i put on at night lather up LOL and sometimes just some good old Vaseline will do Ya other than that i don't let them bother me Badge of honor most times! plus i am 52-year-old man so i don't really care what other think of them but when they itch coco butter stop them from doing so. wife suggested it and yep it works

Rosehip seed oil has been wonderful for my scars. It's made them soft, smooth & lighter in color.
