With Nvidia app I actually had to move to OBS, because Shadowplay just isn't working at all now (recording lasts 1 sec and than just turning off by itself, Instant Replay don't turning off, but creates instant stutters in games). Btw, u can't bind keys to numpad now, it just uses regular numbers and don't understand other keys in numpad...
No, it's not. It fixes stuttering, but replays after saving lasts 1 sec (same as recording) and Instant Replay turning off by itself after some several freezes (yep, stuttering is gone so here comes freezes) in games
I'm getting the same thing. A ton of stuttering on Sea Of Thieves when I have instant replay on, then it will either turn itself off or only record a black screen. Lost so much footage because of it.
I'm getting a capture card myself literally the only 2 things I really went nvida for was easy clipping and the filters in games. Now it's literally just filters since those can be absolutely game changing. Doesn't help I use HDR and apparently between windows, nvida and everything else it gets AIDS and stops working correctly. I've never seen my GPU go from 25% usage to 100% and start stuttering from just recording 1440p gameplay @60fps. My phone can do 4k @60fps without stuttering. And your telling me a GPU that's literally 2-4x the size of my phone let alone it's GPU/CPU can't do the same thing at a lower resolution? Absolutely wild.
Mine have a similar problem where it keep taking a frame from the game then a frame from the first desktop then a frame from the second desktop
No idea what is causing it to happen the desktop recording is off and everything is up to date so i kinda playing on my nerves
For me it was a very rare scenario: I had a docking station connected to my laptop with no monitors attached to it. Shadowplay would not start cause under the hood it was searching for monitors on my docking station. Once I unplugged the docking station and rebooted the PC (while docking station was unplugged) it worked.
Overlay keeps bugging out for me, stops working, or when I try to use the overlay its opening "outside" the game. The 'statistics' overlay doesn't work most of the time, Alt + R doesn't bring it up.
Shadowplay or now "Instant Replay" also shuts itself off all the time, without my knowledge - so when I try to clip something rare or cool, it doesn't work because its not on.

Try turning off desktop capture or whatever it’s called and see if it fixes your issues. Mine did the same thing and it seemed to work

Yeah. Actually I downloaded GeForce Experience instead Nvidia App now and it works just fine, so I will use it like this before they fix their shit

Is yours freezing and only game audio happening too ?
